Raydor Holy Sword War Journal

82. Letters delivered

The night crawl by Shirley prompted Baron Eladin to surrender and descend to the military gates of Raydor.

Eladin, who has returned his status as a lord and is no longer a nobleman, has moved to Wolfin, where Raydor is, leaving his former territory to his deputy.

Though there is a lapse in not being able to stop my daughter from rampant, Eladin has no hostility to Raydor from the start. I was just thinking about keeping myself safe.

It was also decided that there would be no particular punishment because he had not even tried to resist aggressively using force, as Viscount Wolfert did.

And after being held captive, he was to be put to work as a Raydor subordinate.

"Baron, here's the paperwork..."

"Please sign the person in charge and turn them over to Finance."

"Baron, we're running out of food for soldiers..."

"I am finishing my order with the Morten Chamber of Commerce for the shortage of food. Delivery will be in 3 days, so give instructions to keep the warehouse clear"

Baron Eladin gives instructions to his men to handily clean up the desk work in a cabinet room built in the former Viscount Wolfert residence.

It is Eladin and the new American civilian gathered by him who works there.

How Eladin replenished a civilian who was lacking in the Royal Army led by Leidor, who worked for two township-based chambers of commerce, Wolfin and Ectura, to get personnel out.

Although Eladin was originally to succeed the Baron family by the sudden death of his brother, all of them aspired to emerge from the aristocracy and stand as a merchant.

For this reason, he was quite close to the Chamber of Commerce in the Eastern Border Region and obtained cooperation using Tsute.

The Chamber of Commerce, for its part, was also experiencing management difficulties as a result of the interruption of its dealings with other towns due to the war disaster, and was forced to reduce its employees, so it was the boat on the crossing that would have their place of re-employment ready.

As a result, a sort of bureaucratic group was to be formed around Eladin, which also eliminated the civilian shortage of the Leidor army.

"Baron... Eladin is a long time worker, not one. You say you've been deprived of your aristocracy, and you work so vividly."

Raydor blurted on the couch in the corner of the office as he skipped directions to his men to far-sightedly see Eladin working burly.

It used to be Raydor being chased by desk work, as he did every day, but since Eladin started cleaning up the bulk of the job, he has been at your service.

Nowadays, it is only necessary to check and sign documents that have already been processed, and to ask for instructions on important matters.

Thanks to this, I was able to afford enough time to be generous and have tea on the couch between jobs.

"Because your father originally thought of his status as a nobleman only as a burden."

Shirley replied as she sat down on the couch opposite her and carried her tea into her mouth with graceful work.

She was a toddler as long as Raydor's waist, but today she is wearing an inflammatory dress with slits in her legs.

He put his legs together to show them off from time to time, and was eager for a flicker and a raidor. Probably going to seduce him, but Raydor doesn't have a hobby for lusting on toddlers, ignoring them and putting his mouth on tea.

"When I was serving the kingdom, I was frightened of when the empire would attack me, frightened of when I would be sent assassins to the kingdom after falling back on the empire... I guess I was no longer a nobleman and finally free from fear and responsibility for being a lord. Maybe this is the best part of your life for your father."

"... you mean not everyone wants status or power. Apparently, for Eladin, the only misplaced position was pain."

It was only in the beginning when I came to this town that I looked frightened with my lips bright blue, but since I began working as a civilian, I have worked with a clear face as if my life had been breathed into.

Apparently, the position of one civilian was a vocation and an ideal self for Eladin.

Sven sitting next to Shirley also nods yeah to Raydor's words.

"Whatever it is, it is above all that the civilian shortage has improved. Now I can devote myself to my work as a military teacher."

"Oh, what kind of a military teacher does Sven serve?

"At least I'll make it look better than Shirley's Honey Trap"

"Ugh... make a fool of me!

Sven stretches his chest out laughing at the prickly and angry Shirley as if he was good at it.

It is a sight as smiling as a real brother and sister. Raydor also loosened his cheeks as he roamed the tea candy.

"The fact that the civilian was there now means you're a martial artist. Besides Darren, I want someone who can take command on the battlefield."

"For once, we have appointed ten qualitative captains from among our newly entered soldiers... but it's hard to find anyone who can lead just a hundred or a thousand people"

Sven also holds his hand in his mouth and roars "hmm".

A good martial officer is harder to raise than a civilian.

How many times have I turned my teaching around on my desk, because if I do not have experience in action, I will not be properly used.

A free human being who has had the experience of commanding as many as a hundred or a thousand soldiers and has not served anyone - such a talent would not be the case if searching all over the country.

"I have a lot of experience in action and I lose my head. Then there is someone who can stand on his arm... only one person is there..."

"What, do you have any idea?

"Yes... I'm an Eastern nobleman, just like me, but I'm a little uncomfortable..."

Sven clouds his words and wrinkles between his brows.

Raydor tried to mention the person, surprised to see how the boy military teacher was doing.

But before that, the office door opened and Darren came into the room.

"Excuse me. His Highness Raydor."

"Hmm? What's wrong?

"To Your Highness, a messenger has come from Viscount Ouigist."

"Ouigist... you were one of those aristocrats who went back to sleep"

When Raydor confirmed, Darren nodded with a slightly nervous look as well.

On the sofa opposite me across the desk, Sven is opening his mouth and groaning for some reason.

"I listened to you lightly... it seemed like a disturbing requirement..."

"Hmm?"

Darren hands me a letter in the seal.

Raydor took it casually and immediately glanced at him.

"'Fulfillment'......?

That's what it said on the surface of the envelope in big letters.

If you turn it over, it says the name of the sender of the letter.

"The sender............ Justy Oygist?

"Oh......!

Sven covered his face with his right hand and uttered a moaning voice.

"That's who I am. For your clarity, in the end, you can only draw conclusions with your muscles. Big brain muscle......!

"Hey... what you were saying earlier..."

"That's right. You're right, Your Highness...!

Sven exhaled fed up with the kind of face that carried the world's inertia all by itself.

"The strongest samurai in the eastern part of the kingdom lined up in Illucas' 'Slaughter Princess' - 'The Lion of the East' Justy Oygist. These muscle glasses love the spear and the battlefield so much."
