Hearing the spirit’s words, William was now certain that the coat in his hand wasn’t simple.

In fact, there were two main reasons he had quickly put away the coat after getting it without letting Alicia or Liam see its details.

First, there was a mention of the World Devourer Wolf in its details. William wasn’t certain what kind of creature this World Devourer Wolf was, but the fact that a single strand of its fur had given this coat the ability to devour other treasures and evolve further indicated that this was definitely a terrifying being.

Second, being able to evolve further was an ability exclusive to Soul Armaments.

But this Uncommon-grade artifact could also evolve further, which made it even more unusual.

William actually knew about a few artifacts that were not Soul Armaments and could evolve further.

However, all of those artifacts were at least Epic- or Legendary-grade.

But this coat was just an Uncommon-grade artifact. He simply couldn’t understand how such a thing was possible.

William took a deep breath to calm his chaotic thoughts and spoke in a deep voice.

’From the way you just reacted, it seems you know about this World Devourer Wolf.’

The spirit of the pearl was silent for a moment before replying.

’I can’t tell you much since it might attract its attention if you know about it. But just know that the World Devourer Wolf is an entity that even Gods don’t dare to provoke easily.’

William’s heart skipped a beat, and his eyes widened.

’Is this World Devourer Wolf similar to those beings you spoke about when telling me about Astral Rifts?’

’It’s not exactly similar to those beings, but you can think of it as being similar to them for now.’ The spirit spoke and then added.

’To give you an example of how strong the World Devourer Wolf is, this Uncommon-grade artifact in your hand is actually used to be a normal piece of cloth. A piece of cloth that you could wear normally every day. However, because it came into contact with a strand of fur from the World Devourer Wolf, it now has the potential to reach Legendary Grade or even higher.’

’Are you serious?’

William’s hand holding the World Devourer Wolf Coat trembled violently, and he looked at the black piece of clothing with a look of disbelief on his face.

"It’s just a normal piece of cloth..." He repeated the spirit’s words, still finding it hard to believe.

"Luck..." William muttered and suddenly thought of something.

He opened his status window and looked at one of his titles.

’This slight increase in luck... Just how slight is it?’ He thought inwardly, wondering if he could find a large amount of money just by walking along the roadside.

Just as William was lost in his thoughts, the spirit’s voice rang inside his mind again.

’Your academy uniform is also considered a cloth-type treasure. Feed it to this coat.’

William raised an eyebrow.

’If I feed my uniform to it, what am I going to wear tomorrow?’

’Just do as I say. You will understand in a moment.’

Although confused, William still followed the spirit’s instructions and took off the black academy uniform he was wearing.

There were many burn marks on the uniform, and its condition wasn’t good.

William placed the uniform over the coat, and the instant the coat came into contact with the uniform, it rippled like liquid and immediately swallowed the entire uniform.

William looked at everything with a curious expression, and a few seconds later, the ripples on the coat disappeared.

William picked up the coat, but didn’t see any changes in it. Although it seemed like its defense had increased slightly, there were no major changes in the coat.

William followed the spirit’s instructions and wore the World Devourer Wolf Coat.

’You can wear this thing twenty-four hours a day without anyone knowing. Now you just need to feed this coat a lot of armor, and as its defense increases, you will have armor protecting you all the time.’

William nodded at the spirit’s words and rubbed the cloth of the coat. After transforming into the uniform, even the texture of the cloth had changed, and it felt exactly like the academy’s uniform.

"This thing is really wonderful," William muttered with a sigh.

Just then, a knock sounded from outside.

William raised an eyebrow and walked over to the door, wondering who was knocking.

As the door opened, a look of surprise appeared on William’s face as a familiar figure stood before him.

"Dominick," He muttered in a low voice, calling out the name of the Blood Slave whom Vivian had sent to deliver Blood Moon to him.
