Chapter 103: Special Class (Part 1)
Unlike the time when he had come to deliver Blood Moon, Dominick’s current appearance was very different.
His skin wasn’t as pale as before, and even his blood-red eyes had turned black. His shoulder-length black hair was tied in a ponytail, and wearing the black-colored academy uniform, he looked no different from the other students of the academy.
William wasn’t surprised by the change in Dominick’s appearance, as he knew it was just a facade and that the person standing in front of him was still the same Blood Slave.
"We meet again." Dominick forced a polite smile after seeing William, his behavior completely different from the last time.
It couldn’t be helped.
Last time, when he returned after delivering Blood Moon, Vivian had asked him if he had accomplished the task.
Since he was a Blood Slave, he couldn’t lie or hide anything from her and told her everything.
After learning that he had tried to drink William’s parents’ blood, Vivian had slapped him.
The slap was so strong that it had almost sent him to the afterlife. If it weren’t for the regeneration ability he had received after becoming a Blood Slave, he would have really died at that time.
After that incident, he understood that William and Vivian’s relationship wasn’t normal and that he couldn’t mess with him.
William was amused when he saw Dominick trying to force out a polite smile and could already guess why he was acting like this.
"Do you need something?" He asked calmly.
"It’s nothing. Master sent me to deliver a message to you."
William’s ears immediately perked up upon hearing Dominick’s words.
"She told me to inform you that you don’t have to restrain yourself while doing things in the academy. You can act freely within limits and don’t have to worry about those older nobles making any move against you because of your actions."
William raised an eyebrow and fell into deep thought.
After a moment, he asked.
"By older nobles, she means the families behind the noble students of the academy, right?"
Dominick thought about it for a moment before nodding.
"It should be."
"I see..." William rubbed his chin with a thoughtful look and soon understood what Vivian wanted him to do.
He couldn’t help but shake his head and chuckle slightly.
"Why didn’t she come herself?"
Dominick immediately wanted to flare up upon hearing William’s question. In his eyes, his Master was his god, and hearing this guy ask why she hadn’t come personally made his blood boil with anger.
However, remembering what had happened when he provoked William last time, he suppressed his anger and spoke in a stiff voice.
"I think it’s because Master currently has more important matters to attend to. That’s why she didn’t come to meet you personally."
In simple words, he was saying, You were not as important as the other things my Master needed to do, so make do with me.
William rolled his eyes at Dominick’s words and couldn’t be bothered with him.
Suddenly, he thought of something and asked curiously, "How’s her hair?"
Dominick showed a look of confusion upon hearing him.
"What do you mean?"
"I am asking, how’s Vivian’s hair?"
Dominick gave William a weird look and was about to ask if he had some screws loose in his mind for asking about his Master’s hair.
However, he suddenly remembered something he had seen when he was called by Vivian earlier and paused.
"Her hair... Master’s hair seemed to have turned platinum white from black."
William’s eyes narrowed when he heard this.
’So her bloodline’s power is really restless because of the approaching Moon Eclipse.’ He sighed in relief.
’But since her hair is platinum white, it means she can still perfectly control it.’
He thought for a moment and remembered that the Moon Eclipse was just a few days away, and as its time came closer, her bloodline power would become even more restless.
’It’s a good opportunity to sort out everything between us,’ He muttered inwardly before looking back at Dominick.
"Thanks for delivering her message. Please let her know that I will be waiting for her in two days."
Dominick was taken aback by William’s words and frowned.
"What do you mean?"
William shook his head.
"Just tell her what I just said."
A look of confusion appeared in Dominick’s eyes.
"You are telling me to inform Master that you will wait for her. Don’t you need to tell me where you will wait so that I can tell her?"
William smiled and said calmly, "Just deliver my message. She will understand everything."
"Alright." Dominick shrugged and was about to leave when William added.
"If she says she doesn’t want to meet for the time being, tell her that there seems to be another vampire who is after her favorite food."
"Huh?"
A bewildered look appeared on Dominick’s face, but before he could ask anything, William closed the door behind him.
"What a weird guy..." Dominick muttered before shaking his head and leaving.
As William closed the door, Liam also emerged from the bathroom and asked curiously, "Who was it?"
"Just a fellow student. He knocked on the wrong door."
"Oh." Liam nodded at William’s words and didn’t think about it anymore.
William also returned to his bed and sat down while thinking inwardly.
’If I remember correctly, Dominick is in the third year of the academy this year. Other than him, there are a few more Blood Slaves under Vivian’s command who are students at the academy.’
William’s mind worked rapidly as he made a few future plans, especially after receiving Vivian’s message from Dominick.
’She acts like she doesn’t care, but she takes action every time even before I ask for anything...’
He shook his head with a smile and slumped down on his bed.
William slept for a few hours to recover from the fatigue of fighting in the Astral Rift.
At night, after dinner, he practiced the Time Star Codex and noticed that he was very close to reaching the peak of the Star Warrior Realm after refining the Vermilion Flame.
At his current speed, it would take him less than a week to reach the peak of the Star Warrior Realm.
The night passed without anything significant happening, and finally, the next day arrived, marking the beginning of the academy.
