"Do you want some?"

"No, thanks," William flatly refused Liam’s offer as he watched him apply oil all over his body.

He actually wanted to tell him that his body would be covered by the Academy’s Uniform, so there was no need to apply oil just to make his skin shinier.

But seeing his enthusiasm, he gave up and didn’t say anything.

"I suggest you try it. This is a special oil from my hometown. Not only does it make your skin shinier, but it also relieves muscle fatigue," Liam said as he rubbed the oil onto his arms.

"We are already Star Warriors. What kind of fatigue can this oil relieve?" William rolled his eyes at Liam’s words.

"You don’t understand, buddy. It’s not about the oil. It’s more about the technique," Liam said as he moved his fingers strangely, showing William.

"Do you want give it a try, Kind Sir? I guarantee one hundred percent satisfaction."

William got goosebumps all over his body and nearly kicked this creep out of the window.

"If you don’t want to go to your first class with broken fingers, stop your act and get ready already."

Liam’s body stiffened upon hearing William’s cold voice, and seeing that he really wanted to break his fingers, he quickly stopped his act and put on his Academy Uniform.

"I am ready, Kind Sir."

William sighed and shook his head at Liam’s antics.

"Let’s go," He said and left the room.

Liam followed after him and locked the door.

As they stepped out of the basic dormitory building, they looked at their student badges and saw that a tiny arrow had appeared on their surfaces, guiding them in a certain direction.

"The arrow on our badges seems to be guiding us in the same direction," Liam said when he saw that the arrow on his badge was pointing in the same direction as William’s. "It will be great if we are in the same class."

William nodded at Liam’s words, and both of them headed in the direction pointed out by their student badges.

Because of his memories from the original timeline, William already knew that both of them would be in the same class.

Although some things had changed compared to the original timeline, he knew that the matter of their class wouldn’t change.

It was mostly because all the students who claimed to have traits would be admitted into the same class so that their traits could be tested at once.

Since he and Liam had told them that they had traits, and Epic and Legendary-grade traits at that, they would be admitted into the same class.

"I wonder if Alicia will be in our class as well?"

"It’s unlikely," William shook his head. "She doesn’t have a trait, and the class we will be joining will most likely be the one where students with traits are gathered."

Liam raised an eyebrow in surprise.

"Then doesn’t it mean the class we will be joining most likely consists of the strongest students of this year?"

"Yeah," William nodded, then shook his head. "But it’s not one hundred percent certain. There will be a few assessments in the first month after the classes start. If you don’t perform well and maintain the standard, you will be transferred to a different class."

"Transferred to a different class?" Liam showed a look of confusion. "Is there something special about this class? I mean, is there a reason students wouldn’t want to be kicked out of this class?"

"Since the best students of the year will be in this class, its treatment is naturally a bit different from the other classes," William explained.

"First of all, the professors teaching there will be some of the best. The training facilities provided to them will be a notch above those of the other classes, and most importantly, the students of this class will be given priority whenever a special task is issued."

As he spoke, William couldn’t help but recall what had happened in the original timeline.

They had joined the special class in the original time line as well.

Though William had joined it a little later than Liam and a few of his friends because he had broken through to the Star Warrior Realm much later and only then awakened his trait.

But without exception, all of them were transferred to different classes after the assessment because they hadn’t made much progress.

But this time, things were quite different. He was already about to reach the peak of the Star Warrior Realm, and with the Point Break skill, Liam was also far stronger than his previous self.

On top of that, they would soon receive a lot of credits for the Fire Essence Crystal Mine, so they wouldn’t lack resources in the coming days.

’Now that classes are starting, I will meet those two as well. Once I pull them to my side, the task I received from the spirit won’t be difficult to complete.’

While William was thinking, Liam couldn’t help but sigh.

"It’s really the same everywhere. If you want to secure resources and benefits for yourself, you have to be stronger."

William nodded and reminded him just in case.

"Don’t think about joining a noble’s faction just because of resources. Once our traits are tested and they find out we have such high-level traits, a lot of people will invite us to join them. I won’t say much, but just remember that joining a noble faction at your current level is definitely not a good idea."

"You don’t have to remind me." Liam shook his head calmly. "As I told you before, I have no interest in joining any noble’s faction."

William glanced at Liam from the corner of his eyes and knew that his hatred for nobles came after seeing how his father was treated by the noble he had served his entire life.

Suddenly, he remembered Liam’s last words from the original timeline.

’My father... tell him... tell him that I did not disgrace the family name. I fought bravely on the battlefield until my last breath.’

William’s heart couldn’t help but skip a beat when he remembered that tragic scene from the memories of the original timeline.

He closed his eyes for a second and took a deep breath.

’It seems I will need to make a trip to his hometown to sort out the things between him and his father.’

"What are you thinking?"

Liam’s voice brought him out of his thoughts, and he shook his head.

"It’s nothing."

Just as he spoke, the student badges in their hands vibrated slightly.

William and Liam raised their heads and saw a tall building in front of them.

"It seems our classroom is inside," Liam said and quickly moved forward.

William also followed after him, but just as he was about to enter, he saw a person coming from the distance, and his footsteps paused slightly.
