William ran at full speed as if his life depended on it. To increase his chances of escaping safely, he even used Time Acceleration to increase the flow of time around himself and run even faster.
While running, he continuously looked back with Eyes of Insight to see if Richard was chasing after him.

’It’s a good thing Vivian sent Blood Moon to me. If I didn’t have Blood Moon, it would have been much more difficult to kill Lucas and escape safely from Richard.’
After using the Seven Steps of the Supreme earlier, all of his Aether Energy had been exhausted.
