"Zombies are really not human!"
The person watching the monitors cursed and turned his head away, not looking at Captain Zhu eating anymore.

The exterior of the bus looked very much like their blue-and-white bus at home.
Through the bus window, Bai Yifan saw Fan Tangtang’s dad, Fan Liping.
Fan Liping opened the bus window and stared intently at the gate of the Yunhua Safety Base.
Seeing Bai Xiqin and the others coming out from the safety base, Fan Liping immediately excitedly waved at them.
This drew the Gatekeeper’s attention towards the bus.
In the apocalypse, many chose not to live in safety bases, and there were many who lived in their cars.
This bus had been parked at the safety base gate since early morning, and the middle-aged man kept the windows open, just watching the gate without entering.
This made the Gatekeeper think he was a zombie spy, wanting to attack the safety base!
But seeing Leng Yebai riding over on his bike, they quickly felt at ease.
Realizing it was the Base Commander’s son’s friend, they were sure there was no issue; the Base Commander’s son’s friend certainly couldn’t be a zombie spy!
Leng Yebai, expressionless, rode his bike towards the bus.
"Uncle Fan, what brings you here?"
Bai Xiqin lowered her voice to speak to Fan Liping, glancing around.
There were no Superpower Users going out, only the Gatekeeper occasionally glancing their way.
"Xiao Ming’s situation isn’t well now, you all..."
Fan Liping glanced at Leng Yebai, hesitating to speak.
As outsiders, the Fan Liping couple knew that Bai Xiqin was very important in Zhang Yiming’s mind.
Zhang Yiming’s condition was bad now, and if Bai Xiqin went, it would definitely improve.
But...they were unsure if Leng Yebai would overthink it.
