Over here, Gu Xu was carefully tending to his wife, while over there, the Blue Fatty egg that Yue Shuwen was holding became a bit restless. At first, it was silent when it first arrived, but as Yue Shuwen and Zhong Xiaoyao curiously observed the little one, it suddenly seemed to awaken from its slumber, twisted its backside, and leaped right out of Yue Shuwen’s arms.

Before they could shout "careful," the egg had already jumped to the ground. But contrary to what Yue Shuwen and Zhong Xiaoyao expected, the egg bounced a few times without showing any signs of cracking. Instead, it giggled complacently, as if mocking Yue Shuwen and Zhong Xiaoyao for their overreaction.

Huo Sining and Gu Xu couldn’t help but look over at the tiny creature. However, after flying around the room a few times, it seemed unable to find what it was looking for and became visibly upset, sitting down with a thud and letting out a muffled wail from within the eggshell.

Seeing this, Yue Shuwen and Zhong Xiaoyao exchanged bewildered glances, and Gu Xu was completely confused like a monk scratching his head in confusion.

Huo Sining paused, recalling how Niuniu, when she was an egg, loved electricity. Then, thinking of her own attributes, a light bulb went off in her head, and she quickly said to Gu Xu:

"Open the door and take it to the upstairs bathroom!"

Gu Xu snapped back to reality, scooped Huo Sining up from the bed, opened the basement door, and headed upstairs.

Sure enough, seeing this, the egg obediently followed along.

Upon reaching Huo Sining’s bedroom, Gu Xu quickly turned on the faucet, filling the bathtub with water.

Hearing the sound of water, the egg immediately perked up and, without needing any prompting from Gu Xu, leapt energetically into the bathtub and began to dance unabashedly.

Very soon, the bathtub was filled with water, and the little creature floated and sank in the tub, occasionally letting out joyous laughter.

Seeing this, Huo Sining was increasingly convinced that this little one had probably inherited her attributes.

The egg was laid, but how to hatch it remained a big problem. Yue Shuwen and Zhong Xiaoyao had never experienced such a thing and naturally had no idea what to do.

Huo Sining was also at a loss. Niuniu hatched purely by accident, and her attributes were easy to manage; it only required enough electricity to trigger. But she was at a loss about what to do with this one.

Throughout the afternoon, Huo Sining and Gu Xu were stuck in the bedroom staring blankly at this peculiar egg. Initially, Yue Shuwen and Zhong Xiaoyao found it amusing, but soon lost interest and left for their respective homes, leaving this "new parent" duo to handle the mess.

However, neither Huo Sining nor Gu Xu felt the typical excitement or thrill of being new parents because they were troubled by the sight of this egg.

On one hand, though the egg had emerged, they couldn’t treat it like a normal baby and were unsure how to handle it;

On the other hand, when this little one finally hatched, they wouldn’t know when it would happen, nor how to appropriately introduce it to the Gu Family and ensure its acceptance by the family elders.

These were the couple’s pressing concerns.

However, the Blue Fatty splashing in the bathtub was blissfully unaware of all these issues.

By dusk, Yingzi returned with the nanny and several other little ones. As soon as they entered the house, Qibao and Niuniu seemed to sense something and quickly ran upstairs.

Huo Sining also heard the children’s voices and gestured to Gu Xu to let Qibao and Niuniu into the room, while he himself stepped out.

Tongtong, who followed Qibao and Niuniu, was picked up by Gu Xu, who used the pretense of asking about the day’s adventures to take him back downstairs.

As soon as Qibao and Niuniu rushed into the bedroom, the Blue Fatty playing in the water seemed to sense something, let out a curious sound, and quickly jumped out of the tub, hurrying over to the new little companions, tilting its body as if to size up the two little ones.

Surprised at first, Niuniu then showed some distaste and shrugged the little one off, rolling up her sleeves to wipe her face.

The little chubby egg that Niuniu rejected seemed oblivious and continued happily inching closer to her, stubbornly sticking to her after being shrugged off.

Niuniu panicked, and in desperation, considered zapping the little fatty with electricity to show it her might.

However, as soon as her hand touched the Blue Fatty, it seemed to sense her intentions, and in that instant, the entire egg disappeared before Niuniu’s eyes.

Then, the next second, before Niuniu could react, the egg appeared behind her and snuggled up to her neck once again.
