Niuniu started a fight with her own son.

Huo Sining and Qibao were inside the bedroom, watching in disbelief as the precious egg began teasing Niuniu. Niuniu thought it was playing with her, so it used the Invisibility Technique, even giggling while playing hide-and-seek with her.

After being tricked by the little fatty a few times, Niuniu got annoyed and stopped holding back, instinctively enhancing her thunder and lightning powers.

However, what Huo Sining didn’t expect was that this little guy who just came into the world might look like an egg, but was no pushover. Although it smiled cheerfully, it was far from gentle when it came to teaching a lesson.

The Invisibility Spell was used effortlessly, and Niuniu couldn’t catch the egg. While she was searching for her target, the precious egg somehow ended up in Niuniu’s blind spot, sneakily injecting a burst of spiritual power into the ground, which spread towards the spot where Niuniu was standing.

But Huo Sining and Qibao, knowing the truth, were quite shocked.

Niuniu’s face turned a slate gray as she glared at the wretched little fatty, angrily cursing in her heart: Just you wait until you hatch, and see how I’ll deal with you!

Niuniu’s intense intent and malice did nothing to alert the little egg to danger; instead, it leapt into Huo Sining’s arms, babbling as if boasting about its recent heroic and mighty deeds.

The corners of Huo Sining’s mouth twitched more visibly, and even Qibao beside her couldn’t suppress the upward twitch of his lips.

Infuriated, Niuniu pounded the floor tiles and abandoned her shoes stuck to the floor, huffing and puffing as she got up and stormed off, casting a dagger-like glare at the Blue Fatty.

Giving birth to this egg, Huo Sining felt she had no maternal instinct. With the egg nestled in her arms, she felt amused.

Niuniu relied on her lightning attack attributes regularly to bully Qibao and Zhong Xiaoyao, but this time she finally met a match and ended up losing in the gutter.

"Qibao, Niuniu’s met a formidable opponent now, so you don’t have to worry about her bullying you anymore; you’ve got someone to help you!"

Huo Sining playfully tapped her son’s round head, unable to hold back a chuckle.

Qibao evidently liked this little guy a lot, especially when he saw Niuniu being toyed around by the precious egg, utterly powerless. It filled him with glee.

Bullied by Niuniu, Qibao had been scared of her. Now someone had finally stopped her violence, giving him a strong sense of vindication; he couldn’t wait for the little fatty to hatch so he’d have an ally.

"Sis, will I be called Uncle once the little nephew hatches?" Qibao asked curiously.

Huo Sining smiled and nodded, "Yes, Qibao, you’ll be an uncle soon. Your brother-in-law and I named the little fatty Gu Chengmiao. What do you think, does it sound nice?"

Qibao nodded, "It’s nice, but when will it come out of its shell? Does Qibao need to help?"

Huo Sining furrowed slightly, "I don’t know either, it’s my first time in such a situation, and I have no experience."

Qibao replied obediently with an "Oh," and smiled, "No matter what, as long as little nephew hatches, Sis won’t have any trouble, and Qibao’s relieved."

Huo Sining couldn’t resist patting Qibao’s head, "Aww, our Qibao speaks so well; you’ll definitely be a warm-hearted guy in the future, lots of girls will like you."

Hearing Huo Sining’s teasing, Qibao’s face turned beet red, embarrassedly twisting his sugar tush, "Sis, stop talking like that, Qibao doesn’t want girls to like him."

With that, the little guy, cheeks flushed, ran out.

The precious egg, after its antic, seemed tired, snuggled into Huo Sining’s arms, and fell asleep, snoring softly.

When Yingzi returned, Gu Xu came up with excuses to ask her a bunch of questions, leaving Yingzi intrigued. Unable to hold back, she asked Gu Xu, "Where is Miss Huo?"

Knowing this lady guard was assigned by Chief Lu, and in her eyes, Huo Sining’s safety was paramount; if she couldn’t see her, she’d definitely be uneasy, so Gu Xu didn’t hide it, replying directly:

"Ningning is resting upstairs; if you’re concerned, you can go up and take a look."

Yingzi’s gaze swept over Gu Xu. She felt his arrangements for taking Auntie and several kids out to play today seemed sudden, especially as Huo Sining’s expression looked odd at that time, yet she couldn’t pinpoint what was wrong.

After some thought, she decided to go upstairs and have a look—what if Gu Xu, as the host, gets displeased? Her responsibility was only to follow Miss Huo’s orders and safeguard her safety; the rest wasn’t her concern. If Gu Xu was truly unhappy, he’d report to the chief, and if the chief felt she didn’t do a good job, then she’d be dismissed.

With that in mind, Yingzi paid no heed to Gu Xu’s expression and headed straight upstairs, reaching Huo Sining’s bedroom and knocking on the door.

Upon hearing the knock, Huo Sining paused and instinctively tossed her son into Space.
