Light ran a large comb through his wavy red hair as his reflection stared at him, he looked as though he had never even participated in such a gruesome battle. His injuries had all been cleared.

He admired himself for a bit before he went over to drop his comb and put on a shirt. He glanced over in the direction of the trophy, a miniature golden structure that rested atop his wooden table.

’I really did it, maybe now he’ll stop treating me like I’m worthless.’ He mused as he sprawled across his bed for a moment.

"Ahhh, that ward room bed was so stiff. I missed my soft bed so much." He said out loud and hugged a pillow, the softness almost bringing a tear to his eyes.

KNOCK! KNOCK!

"Grrr. Who’s at the door by this time." He muttered lowly as he got up from his bed, taking his time. It was late and he wasn’t expecting any food or gifts at this hour so he wondered who it could be disturbing him by this time.

He grumbled as he walked slowly towards the door. The second he opened it he was privy to the sight of Anissa.

His eyes almost bulged at the sight of her, she had on a very tight night gown that highlighted her curves and exposed her cleavage.

She was completely red in the face as she stood there, her hands against her chest as she fought to keep herself from shaking.

"A-Anissa! W-What are you doing here?" Light stuttered as he stood before her, he was surprised at his ability to even form a coherent sentence.

"What do you mean? I came to see you." She almost ran inside the room as she said that, sitting on his bed as though it belonged to her, she traced her finger on the embroidery that lined the bedsheets.

Light shut the door after a moment of staring at the blank space where Anissa one stood. He could not believe what was happening.

’Why is she here at this time—is she moving in with me?’ He pondered, his mind racing even faster than his heart in that moment.

Anissa spoke first. "D-Do you r-remember when I promised you a gift for w-winning the tournament?" She fought to keep her words steady, but her intentions were very clear at the back of her mind, there was no turning back now.

"Yes, I remember. I’ve been wondering what it wa—" he couldn’t even finish his sentence before she got up and planted a deep kiss on his lips. He immediately fell into a trance and was consumed by the feeling of her lips on his.

She pushed him on the bed and pulled her night gown up, getting on top of him.

At this moment, Light’s mind was completely blank, he didn’t k ow what to say or do, he had feelings in places that he could not explain. Was he really about to lose his virginity?

"Anissa? Are you sure about this?" He pulled his lips away from hers and asked, her eyes were still closed and her lips were puckered.

She sighed as though she was disappointed and looked him deep in the eyes.

"I’m sure. I trust you."

He felt a spirit come over him as he immediately flipped her over, this time he was on top as he ravaged her endlessly.

The night was short, but it was equally long from Light’s perspective.

"The place where world tree resides has been peaceful so far, tell me Sylvanor, what did the scouts say about Morbius’ plan." Banqui asked, the elders—although not complete as some of them had other things to attend to in their respective domains—sat on the table as they pondered the next action to take in this case.

"From what they are saying, it seems as though Morbius has no plan at all. I find it rather counterproductive to continue sending them in scouting missions. They are a waste of money and time." Sylvanor said, his voice was calm and affirming, he never spoke on something without being sure, a trait that was common in the dwarven race.

"So we hire other scouts—I’ll sooner go into Helmand myself." Armand stated in an annoyed tone, he always seemed annoyed, even over the slightest of things.

"You would be sniffed out by the demon king from miles away. It would be foolish to do something like that." Rhaenys responded to him, her face expressionless as usual, she was one of the only few elves who was like that, it was almost impossible to tell how she felt about anything.

"I don’t see you coming up with any ideas Rhaenys, we can’t dillydally about in hopes that the demon king’s plan fails. We don’t even have a single lead—" Armand retorted, he and Rhaenys had been a loggerheads for a few years and it was very evident as to why, they almost never agreed on anything.

"Armand is right." Alaric added, unintentionally cutting Armand off. "We have to approach this wisely, otherwise we’d lose before we can even start."

"Do you know anybody we can trust to infiltrate Helmand and find out what the Demon King and Morbius’ plan is?" Banqui inquired.

It was clear that the rest of the Elder Covenant was lost as of what to do in this situation, they couldn’t act and they couldn’t just storm in Helmand blindly as that would work completely against them.

"I might know a guy." A faint smile tugged at Alaric’s lips.

There was no other way to combat against the plan other than to snuff it out before it had grown into its later stages, they would need to find out what the intentions with the sap were, and fight it from within.

"Well then, you have to contact him, and let him know exactly what it is that we need to do, we are running out of time and we need to be fast." Banqui stated.

"Affirmative sir." Alaric said sarcastically.
