Chapter 173: I Will Not Have Any Inappropriate Relationships
Fu Mingxue quickly finished her breakfast.
"Let’s go!"
Qin Wenhao was already waiting for her.
Seeing this, Fu Mingxue didn’t say any more and got right into Qin Wenhao’s car.
As their car was driving out of the military base’s main gate, someone stopped them.
Qin Wenhao slammed on the brakes. His expression was not good as he looked at the person blocking the car.
He leaned his head out. "What are you doing?"
Ruan Hongfei had an embarrassed look on her face. "I’m sorry, Qin Tuan. I was hoping to catch a ride. Would that be okay?"
Qin Wenhao’s face darkened. His cold eyes swept sharply over Ruan Hongfei. "Move. It’s not."
Ruan Hongfei hadn’t expected him to refuse to let her in the car, even after she’d gone so far as to block it.
Her eyes instantly reddened.
"Qin Tuan, I just need a ride for a short distance. Are you worried your wife will be unhappy? I can just sit in the back—"
Fu Mingxue, who had been sitting in the passenger seat without a care, was suddenly full of questions when she heard this.
’Did I say anything?’
’How did I get dragged into this all of a sudden?’
Qin Wenhao’s face was grim. "My wife hasn’t said a word, so how can you claim she’s unhappy? Besides, let me be clear: *I’m* the one who doesn’t want to give you a ride. Now, move. Don’t make me say it a third time."
Tears instantly welled up in Ruan Hongfei’s eyes.
"I’m sorry, I won’t make things difficult for you, Qin Tuan. I’ll move—" Then she looked up at Fu Mingxue. "Ma’am, please don’t be angry. I won’t get in the car."
Fu Mingxue: ...?
’Damn it, she’s really determined to drag me into this, isn’t she?’
"Just drive."
Qin Wenhao immediately complied, and the car scraped past Ruan Hongfei.
Ruan Hongfei watched in disbelief. She had almost been hit.
And that woman—she was just as Zhu Xiaohong had described: a seductive slut.
She was certain that woman must have used some underhanded means to seduce Qin Wenhao.

She asked bluntly, "Who was that just now? I got the feeling she has some strange hostility toward me. Anyone who didn’t know better would think I stole her man."
Qin Wenhao’s face darkened. "Don’t talk nonsense. I have nothing to do with her."
Fu Mingxue shot him a sideways glance. "I didn’t say you had anything to do with her. It was her words, her expression, the look in her eyes—it was like I’d stolen her man. I’m willing to bet she likes you."
That woman was unbelievable.
’It was our first time meeting, and she was already being so two-faced.’
’I don’t have time to get into some catfight with her.’
Qin Wenhao suddenly slammed on the brakes, then said through gritted teeth, "I don’t like her. Don’t associate me with her in any way."
"—And another thing, I don’t like any woman other than my wife."

He stepped on the gas again.

Fu Mingxue immediately glared at him. "Who’s jealous of you?"
"I’m not saying you *are* jealous. I’m saying you’ll never *have* to be. I will never be involved in any kind of improper relationship."
