Winston Marshall looked at the group, annoyed and confused. He had no idea what they were laughing at.

"Cecilia, they’re from Lorcain. This makes things even easier," Duane said with a smile to Cecilia Sterling, holding Henry Marshall with one hand like he was picking up a baby chick.

’Cecilia?’

Winston Marshall was even more baffled. ’For a group of people this ruthless to show her such respect, she must be someone I’ve at least heard of in Lorcain, right?’

Besides, Cecilia Sterling was far too young, which made it impossible for Winston Marshall to guess her background or connections.

Seeing that she had sat down and his captors had released him, Winston Marshall figured she wanted to talk. He decided to stop guessing and asked directly, "You... you’re from Lorcain too?"

Cecilia Sterling raised an eyebrow and nodded.

Winston Marshall’s brow tightened. "I haven’t heard your name before."

Duane looked at Winston Marshall and said, "You don’t need to have heard of Cecilia. You just need to know who Jeb is."

"J-Jeb?"

A flicker of understanding crossed Winston Marshall’s eyes, and he unconsciously shifted in his seat.

’Wesley Yates?’

’No wonder. No wonder they’re so brazen.’

Winston Marshall, who had been forcing himself to appear as solid as a rock, finally let a flicker of panic show on his face.

His expression softened noticeably. He looked at Cecilia Sterling and forced a smile that was uglier than a grimace. "My mistake. I failed to recognize who I was dealing with."

James Lockwood was shocked, too. ’Didn’t Cecilia just meet Jeb a short while ago?’

’How could Jeb send so many people to accompany her to Starwood today?’

But of course, Cecilia Sterling was under no obligation to explain any of this to anyone. She simply said coolly, "Let’s talk. Weren’t you the one who wanted to sit down and discuss things?"

"This is my son’s fault. I’ll have him apologize to your sister," Winston Marshall said, no longer trying to act tough.

He now understood completely that if they truly wanted his son’s arm, they wouldn’t hesitate for a second.

He knew his son’s character better than anyone. On any other day, it would have been the other party who suffered.

But today, his son had picked a fight he couldn’t win and stirred up trouble that even he couldn’t smooth over. All they could do now was stand straight, take their punishment, and admit their fault.

In Lorcain, there were two kinds of people you could never afford to cross.

Those at the top.

And those at the bottom.

Wesley Yates was one of the latter.

Where else would he have gotten the nickname "King Yama"?

"An apology..."

Cecilia Sterling murmured, pondering for a moment before nodding. "That’ll do."

Then, she looked at Duane. "Go with them. Record the whole thing, but just focus the camera on him."

Duane was smart. He understood what Cecilia meant.

"Who can show us the way?"

The assistant director quickly raised his hand. "I-I can! I know where Lily’s dressing room is."

He just wanted to get out and catch his breath.

’Lily’s sister is terrifying!’

So, the assistant director led the way, with Duane practically dragging the weak-kneed Henry Marshall behind him. After a series of twists and turns, they finally arrived at Lily Sterling’s dressing room.

Filming had been completely shut down for the day because of the incident. Lily Sterling and Suzanne Sawyer were both in the room. Suzanne had called her father, but he was on a business trip abroad and couldn’t get back right away.

So, Lily Sterling had insisted she stay with her, worried that Henry Marshall might come looking for her again.

The assistant director knocked on the dressing room door. Finn was the one who opened it.

Before Finn could say a word, the assistant director stepped aside, and Duane barged into the room, hauling Henry Marshall with him.

With a casual shove, Henry Marshall stumbled a few steps, lost his footing, and fell to his knees with a THUD.

"AH!"

Suzanne Sawyer let out a scream and immediately hid behind Lily Sterling.

Several bodyguards were on high alert, but Lily Sterling remained relatively calm, simply staring in confusion at the kneeling Henry Marshall.

His face was still streaked with tears, his chin was scraped raw, and a bright red handprint was emblazoned on his cheek.

He looked like a complete wreck, as if he had just been tortured.

’He’s been...’

’Beaten up?’

She then looked up at Duane, who was dressed in a suit. He took out his phone, pointed it at Henry Marshall, and started recording, saying as if no one else was in the room, "Start."

Henry Marshall didn’t dare stand. He remained kneeling, not even thinking of trying any tricks. He spoke with sincere earnestness, "I’m sorry, Lily Sterling. I was wrong. I shouldn’t have provoked you today. I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive my foolishness and let me off this one time."

Lily Sterling’s bright eyes widened slightly, and she blinked in shock.

The others were just as confused, but Yuna and Finn instinctively exchanged a look.

’This...’

’Could it be...’

’Did Lily’s sister come?’

’Otherwise, this turnaround is too sudden and too complete!’

Lily Sterling was so stunned she forgot to react, which scared Henry Marshall so much he started crying again. "I really know I was wrong, Lily! I’m sorry, I’m really sorry!"

Lily Sterling finally snapped out of it. She quickly pulled Suzanne Sawyer to her side and said to Henry Marshall, "You should be apologizing to her, not me!"

Henry Marshall was in no state to care who he was supposed to be apologizing to. As long as they let him go, he would have kowtowed to everyone in the room.

"I’m sorry! I was wrong! I was really wrong!"

Suzanne Sawyer’s face was a mixture of resentment and grievance, but seeing him in this state brought her a sense of vindictive satisfaction.

"Alright, you can go. Just don’t ever do something like this again," Lily Sterling finally said.

Henry Marshall felt as if he’d been granted a royal pardon. He cried tears of gratitude as he thanked her, then turned his head to look at Duane. "Sir, is this okay now?"

But to his surprise, Duane shook his head. "Of course not!"

"Huh? B-But I apologized! What else do you want?" Henry Marshall felt his world collapsing. ’They’re not going to beat me again, are they?’

Duane looked up at Lily Sterling. "You’re Lily Sterling, right?"

Lily Sterling nodded.

Then Duane asked her, "This punk touched your face, didn’t he?"

Lily Sterling remembered that moment vividly. It was the reason she had instinctively slapped Henry Marshall in the first place, so of course the memory was fresh.

She wasn’t one to lie, and she certainly wasn’t going to start for someone like Henry Marshall.

So, Lily Sterling nodded.

Upon hearing this, a smile suddenly spread across Duane’s face. It was a wicked grin that formed a stark contrast to the terrified expression on Henry Marshall’s face.

The next second, without another word, Duane grabbed Henry Marshall and started dragging him out of the dressing room.

He had understood the meaning behind Cecilia’s single glance. It had conveyed a wealth of information: find out if he touched her sister, and if he had, don’t discipline him in front of her for fear of frightening her.

’This kind of bastard is just asking for a beating!’

"Sir, I really don’t remember! Sir! Sir!"

Henry Marshall shrieked until his voice went hoarse, but it was no use.

Once outside the dressing room, Duane shut the door. It was immediately followed by Henry Marshall’s agonized screams and pleas for mercy.

Slaps like iron plates rained down on his face, making the corners of his mouth bleed. Finally, Duane clamped down on his arm, leaned in close, and asked, "You dare lie to Cecilia? You don’t want this arm anymore, do you?"

Henry Marshall’s cheeks were already swollen up like a pig’s head. He was consumed by terror, deathly afraid that the man before him would actually snap his arm with a single squeeze. He shook his head, crying, "I’m sorry, sir! I really forgot just now! I remember now! I’ll go apologize, I’ll apologize to her again!"
