Rebuild World

210 Negotiation of Inave

Sijima is taking a break in her basement's own room. Fatigue remained intense on that expression. This is due to recent intense duties.

The battle over the territory of the blank space, which arose from the devastation of the two main prison parties in Slam Street, ended without a once noticeable confrontation with coordination between the rest of the party. That adjustment got Cheryl half the territory of the Ezont family. And lent all of that in the form of entrusting management to the sizimas. The administration fee is half of the profits the territory generates.

In other words, Cheryl and the others will take as much as 50% of their profits without managing their territory. This seemingly greedy deal meant that the others were so afraid of Akira and Viola, Cheryl, who was holding those two back.

It is also possible for Sijimas and others to deceive expenses and put more money into their pockets than they should. I'm actually doing it. However, it is unknown to what extent Cheryl and the others would retaliate in the event of exposure, so they decided on their own criteria for tacit acceptance and were afraid to do so.

It should be noted that the control of the administration was contracted by Sijima's inmates, and the other inmates were in the form of getting under it. Coordinating interests between inmates is Sijima's job. Only the territory of the Ezont family was wide, the profits were huge, and the rubbing (and) seriousness between the inmates was proportionally greater, and Sijima was struggling to adjust to it. As much power as it gained for that matter, the forces of Sijima's inmates expanded, but as much Sijima's work as it did for that matter.

My men come into the room.

"Boss. You got a second?

"I'm taking a break. Don't rush it. Don't go down. If you need help, do it later. If you're talking about the extent to which another inmate dick killed each other with a woman, let him talk to that inmate first. Don't bring me a story all the time."

"No, I had a little movement at Cheryl's. Just in case, just keep the content in mind."

Sijima, who heard his men's report, makes his expression look harsh. It was not easy to believe and, if true, a fairly important story that people who seemed to be executives of the city were coming all the way to Slam Street to meet Cheryl.

"... is that true?

"It's true, at least, that the city's branded car went into Cheryl's stronghold and that a man in high clothes came down with a large escort. It's information from the guys I sent to Cheryl. That's definitely it."

"... The relic store at Cheryl's has the breath of the city's executives. Cheryl and the others heard rumors (rumors) that they were pulling force from the city in return for cooperating in creating the executive's backing. I thought it was a mixed rumor (rumor) circulated by Viola, is that true?

I hold my head lightly with Sijima's troubled look. If we can use it well, we can expect big profits, but if we touch it badly, it's also a bomb that we can wipe out. Careful treatment is required.

"Spread the same information to the other detachments. If you have asked for a meeting on this matter, just say that you are adjusting the date and time. If I open it, I'll ask Cheryl what happened first."

Copy that.

After his men left, Sijima muttered (crushed) with a complicated look.

"... totally, until a while ago, the one who had just gathered the kids and played the weak prison party suddenly made up a lot more."

Imagining the next commotion and the effort it would take to adjust to it, Sijima exhaled heavily.

Akira and Inabe are sitting opposite each other in Cheryl's own room. Behind Inave are a few heavy-duty escorts who will also be heading to the back of the ruins. Akira is also well armed wearing fortified clothes and SSB compound guns. Only the knife was removed because it would stand in the way of sitting because of the length of the body.

Cheryl was not sure if she should remain on the scene, but at Inabe's request she was to take her seat off. After serving Akira and the others a cup of coffee and tea, he leaves in a courtesy.

Inabe starts talking.

"Let me ask you something before we get down to business. I don't know what to say, but you're the one who wanted to negotiate in a place like this. If there's a reason I chose this place, can I ask?

"If it was better in the back of the ruins or something, we could move it now."

"No, I'm not willing to talk dark that far back. Oh, did I make you pay attention?

"It's easier to talk where you're used to it. That's all."

"Right."

Finish your belly searching with a light silence. Akira was to a lesser degree suspicious, but Inabe was reading a little deeper.

Initially, negotiations were scheduled at a restaurant upstairs in Kugama Building. But Akira's hope changed it to Cheryl's base.

This is a response to Akira's alarm at the desire of powerful people like city executives to negotiate with hunters without going through the hunter's office, and what Kibayashi had previously advised her, and how to lure hunters to unfamiliar luxury stores to enter into unfavourable contracts. The only reason I used the location as a base for Cheryl was because this was Cheryl's legend, so I just lacked the ability to set up a suitable (fuzzy) place for Akira to negotiate.

Inabe infers from what Akira says and does. Does Akira also know she was the one behind that deal in the back of the ruins? Is Cheryl's detachment party in fact Akira's detachment party, and is he trying to make the negotiating place his own territory to take advantage of the negotiations? Are you calling the city's executives to their own detachment base to let the other detachment parties smell that the city is the back shield and aim to expand the detachment party's forces? How far is Akira involved in the series of events that began after Viola came to the makeshift base?

From them, it also emerges that Akira is a hunter overflowing with ambitions for gold and power, from outside the hunter operations. Many hunters make Slam Street inmates and others hide behind dark activities. There is also a lot of material to deny, but you need to be very careful. Inabe concluded so.

"Before we get down to business, let's just say it. It's not so dark a story as to have to secretly talk in the back of the ruins, but it's a story that once belongs to the city's secrecy. Ask him to keep his confidentiality as a legitimate hunter. Be prepared to pay the corresponding price if you violate. You don't mind?

"Okay."

"Well, let's get down to business"

Inabe is planning a massive site exploration in the back of the Kuzsuhara Street ruins. In addition to a large number of hunters, a large number of man-made weapons have recently been deployed. Naturally, the cost of a misdigit is multiplied, and if you fail, you can lose your leg. Inabe was nevertheless betting on the plan and was therefore on the run to secure personnel for it.

Akira, who heard the story, shows difficulty.

"... as you may know, I've been dying, dying and dying recently at the ruins of Kuzsuhara Street. Honestly, I don't feel comfortable."

"The danger will be attached to the hunter's operation. Besides, the majority of threats are handled with human-type weapons. I'm going to ask the hunters to carefully put out their sperm on the artifact collection after the rough elimination is done. Don't worry, it will be accompanied by a large number of powerful aircraft that are also being considered for deployment to the defense. You're familiar with that airframe tonal. You know exactly how that fuselage works. [M] Moreover, it is not armed for testing purposes, such as only proximity equipment, as in the case of that noise. Firmly armed in action. There's no shortage of power."

"... even if they say so"

Still to reluctant Akira, Inabe continues to make sense.

"You're trading with an official named Kibayashi to procure powerful equipment, aren't you? I'm in a position to be involved in a lot of things there."

Akira changes her expression.

"What do you mean?

His expression, gaze, voice, and willingness to target the enemy seeped out. Inabe's escorts also show movement accordingly. The pressing air begins to flow into the field.

Inabe was a little vague inside with an ostensibly spare attitude. The escorts of city executives are commensurately high in strength and equipment. The opponent understood that much and thought that he would be cautious in imitating the odd (well), but Akira's attitude was such that the air was pouring out that he wouldn't quit fighting on the spot either.

Bad threats are counterproductive and too dangerous. Inabe guesses so and switches the direction of the negotiations.

"Don't get me wrong. If you refuse my request, I'm not going to interrupt your equipment procurement, etc. Ning is the other way around. I can help a lot. That's what I meant."

The signs of Akira gradually loosen and return to normal. Continue as Inabe scratches (or sweats) cold inside.

"I'm guessing you're looking for a powerful piece of equipment that's not available by normal means? That's enough to put in a note for the majority of that reward. Kibayashi is the owner of an unexpected passage for a staff member, and will meet your expectations to some extent, but there are still limits to only (just) staff members. But I'm not. I can provide a powerful transmission. It's not even impossible to get that black fuselage that you know too. If you would accept my request and achieve results in the search for the ruins, I would greatly assist you, too. What do you say?

"No, it's not like I want a human weapon."

"I can provide a message that I can get as powerful equipment as that. That's what I'm saying. The more powerful the gear, the less money you simply get. Hunter rank also becomes important. Many low-ranking hunters have restrictions on the sale of high-performance equipment. You traded with Kibayashi to break that limit, to get some incredibly powerful gear?

"... well, yes"

"Then what do we need to get lost in? Whatever I say, this is a chance to explore the ruins. As I said earlier, we will seal off the perimeter of the survey area on the same day. You can't let an unrelated hunter take your artifact. It's hard just to participate in a site search, which is supposed to deprive hunters of their rights. In fact, hunter-based detachments and hunter agents are in the middle of intense negotiations behind them. We can participate without going through that battle. Where do you need to get lost?"

I also thought Akira was definitely on very good terms. But on the contrary, I'm surprised.

"I feel like I'm talking too well, but why do you treat me that way?

After Inabe leaves it slightly between, she laughs lightly as if to confess.

"Well, I can't tell you the detailed selection criteria, but let's just say that you have exceeded the criteria this one seeks. Hunter Rank, for example. Actually, the rear line extension of the Kuzsuhara Street site is being temporarily interrupted. In the meantime, other executives are planning a massive site exploration. For this reason, we have made strides in securing excellent hunters. By and large, hunters of rank 40 or higher are the ones who take away the right to participate. That's why I'm inviting you to spare no effort. I've already received a lot of good responses from hunters over 40 ranks, but it's better to have one good hunter."

While Akira is convinced of Inabe's story, she takes the confirmation once and for all.

"Alpha"

"There's no sign you're lying. Though there seems to be a lot to hide. '

"They're good enough to tell you everything behind a company's interests."

That's what I'm talking about.

Ask Inabe with a serious look, just in case Akira (for).

"I'm sorry if I offended you, but answer me. You're not gonna do me any harm, are you?

"If you think about what you're going to say, that's how you just suspect it. Negotiation is..."

Inabe stops words at Akira's very serious attitude. And I answer myself with a serious look.

"None"

"Alpha"

I didn't lie.

Akira exhales lightly.

"Okay. Undertake. Sorry for the weird push. It helps me to assume that the reason I pushed you all the way is because there's a viola in my acquaintance."

Inabe gives zero (spill) bitter smiles.

"If that's the reason, I'm convinced. You seem to be burning her hands, too, don't you?

"Sort of."

Akira also laughs bitterly. Strange empathy for those who understand was soothing the place.

When Inabe finished her business with Akira and the inspection of the relic store, which is the nominal reason for her visit, she finished chatting with Cheryl about recent events and so on before leaving the base behind. Now we're driving down the subdivision of the city.

Inabe laughs lightly and invincibly remembering what happened at the base.

(Akira. Cheryl. Viola, a gathering of the most pointy human beings. What are those people going to do by creating a detachment party? Maybe that's why Akira wants powerful gear. Well, whatever. Let me be kind within my interests)

My men are contacting me via in-car communication.

"Dear Inabe, It's about Drunkham, but the example hunter is still in remarkably bad shape, and as for Drunkham's side, the negotiator over there has told me he wants to meet up for participation. It's also difficult to meet with example hunters."

"I don't mind. Tell him I'll see him as planned. I'm heading that way now. If you're reluctant, gently threaten. If you're still reluctant, turn your correspondence with the negotiator over here. I'll speak directly."

"I'm scared."

After a short period of time, my subordinates contact me again.

"Dear Inabe, I'm going to connect you with the other negotiator. Is it a good idea?

Inabe gives zero (spill) bitter smiles.

(Will Drunkham refuse requests from city executives? That's quite a sweet response to only (just) young hunters, albeit up-and-coming. Does this also mean the benefit of being blindfolded by Yanagi Sawa?...... I don't like it)

The sense of confrontation with Janagi Sawa transforms Inabe's expression into something slightly harsh.

(Fair enough. Let me decide you're a hunter with that much strength and let me use you, including that benefit, this time)

Inabe returns her expression for negotiation.

"Connect"

"... I'll sit you down in Mizha. Dear Inabe, I sincerely appreciate this offer. However…"

Inabe interrupts Mizha's long words of apology in a soothing tone.

"Well listen. Was that you, Katsuya? I don't know why, but I hear you're in such a difficult state that you can't even get out of hunter operation. The team leader won't be able to move as a team. If that state continues, the ratings from the Yanagi Sawa will also drop. That's really tough."

"Yes. So..."

"Actually, I have a little idea how to solve that."

"Ko, what do you know!?

Inave deepens his grin at Mizha's slightly overwhelming reaction.

"I won't say anything bad. You should let him see me. He gets back on track and doesn't have to break my mood. I'm on my way there now. You should get ready for the meeting right away. See you later."

Inabe hung up the call without even hearing back. I didn't have to ask.

Katsuya is drooling in her room. I don't remember how Cheryl and I got back after we broke up, and the memory of the last few days is pretty suspicious. Nearby, you can see the lack of appetite due to the availability of ready-to-eat dishes. The room was bright, but the lights were dotted by Yumina and others who had been worried about the rashes, and if left alone, there was no doubt that they were drooling all day in the dim room.

Cheryl's shocking breakup wasn't out of Katsuya's mind.

Yumina and the others come into the room looking worried. And to announce Inabe's visit, Katsuya's reaction was to the extent that she moved her gaze slightly. Yumina and the others had no choice but to put Katsuya's arms on their shoulders from left to right and take Katsuya out of the room a little hard. Neither did Katsuya resist.

Inabe sits opposite Katsuya in the reception room of Drancam. Numerous young hunters gather around Katsuya and are close to Mizha. Its face is uniformly somewhat dark.

Inabe remembered something somewhat creepy about those around Katsuya and the others.

(Are they drawn (not) to the depression of those who make them spiritual pillars? This group of hands greatly depends on the overall mood and movement of the leader. All these guys would be Katsuya's team. I see. Hunter operation is not possible in this state)

Inabe turns her gaze to Mizha.

"Ask anyone but him to take his seat off."

"No, because he's in this state, so are we..."

"No. There's also a lot of talk about matters involving the interests of the city and his private parts. Fewer attendants are better. Ask the outsiders to leave."

Still, look at the Mizha and the others who show reluctance, and strengthen their gaze so that Inabe exhales lightly and then intimidates them.

"Take your seat off."

Mizha had no choice but to leave with everyone. Finally, Yumina lowered her head in such a way that Inave closed the door.

(What is that attitude of Drancam executives toward city executives? You seem to be spoiling him for a long time. It is too much for Yanagi Sawa's influence. It would be too much to put in. Are you betting on him across Drancam? I don't know)

Inabe shifts her mind by shelving her doubts for now. Then, in order to come to a negotiation with Katsuya (to), first, call out to Katsuya (straw).

"Now, I don't know if you're listening to me properly, but let's gently shake the subject before we get down to business. Did you hear that? Cheryl shook me up flashy. Right. That's tough."

Instead of caring, there is strong frustration (needlessness) and anger in the rash over Inabe's attitude, which mocks him with all his strength. That became the strength, and Katsuya, who had not reacted to Busy before, raised her face and pointed her gaze at Inave.

"... then what can I do for you? If you're not Cheryl's friend, you don't need a hunter, do you?

"Exactly. So what can I do for you?"

Katsuya shows mild confusion. Inabe intentionally switched from mocking the quality of her smile to something directed at her friends.

"Duh, what does that mean?"

"Cheryl, as an entrepreneur, as head of the organization, sometimes has to make bitter decisions. That's what I mean."

I want something translated. I want it to be some kind of mistake. For Katsuya, who had unconsciously wished so, Inabe's words became too much hope.

"Explain it properly."

"Then stay awake and correct your posture without being draped forever. It's not an attitude toward the negotiators, is it?

Katsuya rushes to correct her posture. Seeing how it was, Inabe was convinced of the winning of the negotiations.

"I'm going to start with a slightly grumpy (bumpy) story, but Cheryl is in debt. You can call it a loan, but, well, it doesn't change the essence"

"Debt..."

Katsuya proceeded to imagine Akira leaning over to Cheryl shielding her debt from the word debt and imagining that if she replaced her shoulder, she could handle it.

"What is that?

"I don't even know the exact amount. But a very rough amount would tell. Let's ask the other way around. How old do you think it is?

Consider Cheryl to be big enough to shake herself, big enough to force her to make a bitter decision, and estimate after Katsuya worries a little.

"Thirty million......, no, about 50 million aurum?

A lot of money, but I might be able to handle myself right now. Katsuya put it out in her mouth thinking so. But Inabe shook her head to the side.

"Unfortunately, the digits are different"

"Different digits, it wouldn't be like five million, 500 million, is it?

"At least five billion, or (some) ten billion, or more in some cases."

Katsuya complains about the rest of her forehead. And unwittingly roughing up my voice.

"Ugh, you're lying!? Whatever..."

"That's a debt enough to be in a catering party, isn't it, 30 million? 50 million? There would be no reason for that kind of money. You didn't seem to know the value of that table. [M] That's where hundreds of millions of business talks fly flat with minimum unit standards. Well, there would be a difference between her debt or her company's."

Katsuya listened half-heartedly.

"The bigger the company, the bigger the debt in the event of failure. And you can describe it as debt, investment or liability, but you also need talent to have a huge debt. Anyway, the lender is expected to return it with interest. That's all she had. And unfortunately it failed. That would be the place."

Katsuya had accidentally made her expression rude to the story of an area she couldn't help herself.

"Still, I have no doubt about her talent. I'm guessing she's trying to get back on track with a modest amount of money. And I guess I'm good enough to attend a standing dinner party again. That's her, but now she's making money from buying and selling artifacts. Once broken, the means of restarting is commonplace in the east. If we continue to succeed in good faith like this, sooner or later she will be able to pay off a huge debt as well. That's what I think too. That's why it's also the wholesale source of artifacts. I would have had a business meeting with her at the table. That's what it is."

Katsuya was surprised to imagine Cheryl's ordeal and felt sorry for herself for not being able to help.

"Cheryl also needs to buy and sell artifacts. For this reason, it is also essential to get along with a good hunter. And I was lucky enough to get a pass with a hunter named Akira.... Well, I'm supposed to be a very good hunter. Why did you think that?

"... I thought"

"You are indeed a very good hunter. The Hunter Rank is also high enough. I also checked your accomplishments in the dossier. It was really great. But unfortunately, you are not the hunter that Cheryl seeks. Because you are a good monster hunter. [M] Your achievements are basically monster crusades, security for inter-city transport, etc., and unfortunately I have to say that the collection of relics is mediocre. But Akira is not. He has also made great achievements in collecting artifacts. He's capable of being a treasure hunter."

"Well, then I also found an old world-made information device before..."

"Just once, by chance, isn't it? Long-term results cannot be expected. Didn't I?

Katsuya shuts up unanswered.

"Besides. Even if it wasn't a coincidence and it was your talent, it wouldn't make a big difference to Cheryl. You are a hunter to Drancam. [M] It is up to Drancam, not you, to decide where to sell the artifact. Cheryl won't get a relic from getting in your mood. [M] It's no use Cheryl negotiating with Drancam. Drancam has invested heavily in (to) improve the equipment of its hunters. Naturally, any artifacts found by your hunter will be provided to you as a matter of priority. Cheryl doesn't have relics coming around. And Akira is a rare, individually moving hunter. If you take him in and get a favor, you can expect the right artifact."

I imagine all kinds of rashes and distort my face.

"... is he bringing home such an awesome artifact? So much for Cheryl to imitate?

"I also have a position. That's why I don't want you to talk to me. You get it? Apparently Akira recently brought home an automated doll made in the old world. Well, there was a reward distribution with the other hunters that accompanied him, and he didn't go to Cheryl. I hear a sizeable company is making a leap forward competing to get it. How much profit would that have generated had it been put into Cheryl's hands? No wonder I expect the next. If Akira likes you more, that's more likely to come around to you. That's what you're judging, and you should spare no effort to do it."

Katsuya imagines a lot more and distorts her face in a cruel way.

"Cheryl didn't know you guys were hostile. I learned that from your attitude. [M] Forced to make two choices, she had to choose Akira, as an entrepreneur, as head of the organization. There was no room for personal feelings there. It was a bitter decision. Well, imagine. I don't know what I mean because I'm not her. But, well, I can deduce from how you and Cheryl were at the dinner party. That's what I mean."

There must have been some reason for Cheryl's behavior. That's what Katsuya expected, and certainly the expectation was met with leaves. But all that was ahead of me was the worse result that I had no way to improve things.

"... there's nothing I can do about it"

Inabe continues to give hope to Katsuya, who regrettably distorts her expression but is again drooled.

"As a matter of fact, I am planning a massive site exploration in the back of Kuzhara Street site, and for this reason I am looking for a large number of very competent hunters. Hunters specializing in monster crusades will also be hired (to ensure the safety of the area). If you succeed, you will get tons of artifacts. Naturally, I have the authority to decide where to wholesale those artifacts. I usually give priority to companies that do business with the city, but if you've achieved enough in that site search, why don't you let Cheryl have the relics on my side? Of course (of course), I'll tell Cheryl I owe it to you. If Cheryl gets a large source of artifacts besides Akira, Akira's usage value will also decline in relative terms. It will also not force you to make a bitter decision. The consequences of the two choices may also change. What do you say?

Inabe laughed intimately when she said so. And I was surprised and slightly frightened by the leopard. Katsuya had a powerful look as she raised her hegemony. And I bow my head to Inave with seriousness.

"Please, let me in on that."

"Ah, oh. Of course."

Inabe was a little fed up by Katsuya's temper, which seemed to even remember the physical pressure.

(Is this who he is? I see. I can see that Drancum is going to be a bit of a pain in the ass. Did the people around you get hit by this too? There will be civil strife in Drancam.)

Laughs deliberately to show majesty so Inabe doesn't go any further crazy.

"That's a deal. Don't worry. I'll keep my word. But I have trouble getting you to speak publicly. Because I have a position, too. Do you understand?"

"Oh, yes."

"It's appropriate. Well, tell the others I've been motivated to listen to some very lucrative site exploration. You can keep your mouth shut."

"Okay."

"Then that concludes my conversation with you. I have to talk to my original negotiator, Drunkham. Now if you'll excuse me."

Inabe gets up and tries to get out of the room. Katsuya rushes up and bows her head.

"Oh, well, thank you for sitting down."

"How are you doing? I sincerely hope you're doing well."

Yumina and the others remained nearby when Inabe left the room. He stayed as far as Mizha, so he speaks up and requests a change of place to negotiate.

Inabe was uncomfortable with the attitude of Mizha and the others. Mizha and the others had a uniformly bright look on their faces. There's nowhere like the dark look I was showing before I took my seat off. Katsuya hasn't left the room yet, so she shouldn't know Katsuya's back on her feet.

(Were you even eavesdropping to see what was going on inside? Totally, they're the ones who haven't been polite enough to negotiate)

When Inabe thought of it that way and put it together, she switched her mind and didn't care more.

Mizha did not imitate such a thing. As a Drunkham executive, he had the courtesy not to imitate (mandarin) the city's executives, and he well understood the disadvantages of doing so and exposing them. I didn't even give Yumina and the others a peek.

In the room, Katsuya apologized for worrying about Yumina and the others. He was laughing cheerfully as he apologized, motivated and burning his willingness to explore the ruins.

Yumina and the others were all delighted that Katsuya had recovered in this meagre amount of time. But not a single one was surprised.
