Rebuild World

211 Togami et al. 's Choice

Akira is once again participating in a mock battle that combines testing for comprehensive support reinforced clothing. He kept about a 50% chance of winning by dealing with Togami, Raina and Elio and the others alone. The repeated engagements were very helpful in raising the bottom of everyone's skill.

Both Elio and Togami were surprised to think Akira still had room to moderate due to this difference in power. But Akira was too much, actually. I just wasn't noticed because I'm flat without showing any remorse for losing.

During the break, Togami somehow turns his gaze towards Akira and the others. Cheryl laughs and talks to Akira in a dressed outfit in the wilderness. That smile had a strong affection for the other person. Akira, by contrast, has the usual look on her face. Not even heartless, but unresponsive to a boy of his age chatting with a beautiful girl. Cheryl still seems happy.

"It sounds like Akira's lover when it comes to Elio, but you're still beautiful. Looks like you've been much in love (ho) with that look, and it's called Akira, it's called Katsuya, and when you're extraordinary and strong, does the beauty come from the other side? I mean, I'm still here. I don't know. I'm good for money, so I was wondering if you could drop by for a little while."

Togami was quite seriously jealous as he made a mild joke. Rayna remembered the strange irritation, but was careful not to put it on her face for now.

"There was no one like that in Togami? You must have been festived by the leader of a faction opposed to Katsuya. It doesn't seem surprising to me that someone is coming to tell me."

Togami has some self-derisive bitterness.

"No. Drancam has a relatively high proportion of female hunters compared to other hunters, and there will be many opportunities to meet because there are more women in office and in some ways, what a pleasure, but basically we and our generation of women don't have a chance for the rest of the bastards because Katsuya takes them all. Isn't he really gonna complete it when Rayna gets back?

"Hey, don't treat people like collectible items on your own"

"I'm sorry. But that's it, isn't it? Rayna wasn't sure about her arm, so she just fell out of Katsuya's team so she wouldn't have to wrap her legs around it, right? What am I supposed to say, but aren't you strong enough already?

"That's right..."

Strange silence flows. The attitude of Togami was also an attraction and a strength that I did not want to imitate. Raina was a lot lost, including when she broke up with Katsuya.

Change the subject so that Togami can change his mind.

"Speaking of which, Elio and the others are moving, that's basically an imitation of Katsuya's troop movements."

Raina also intentionally rides off topic.

"Maybe that's imitation, or the learning data we're using in the General Support System exam is the battle log of Katsuya's troops. That's why they move like that.... How do you know that's Katsuya's troop move?

"I was shown that log in my training with Sikarabe. After watching the troops move, they were forced to point out their shortcomings and means of confrontation. They showed me all day, and I even dreamed about it back then. When they asked me to suggest a way to do something about that unit by myself, I thought it was impotent..."

Rayna also smiles back at Togami, who is smiling mildly bitterly.

"Even though there's a huge difference in the quality of the troops, we're two of us, and Akira's doing something about it by herself after adding us to the enemy."

"Even by our standards, it's not that lame anymore. I guess that means we're growing up, too."

Drancam notified me that Togami and the others were laughing lightly at each other. Instructions had been given to cut off their participation in the mock and return to their base, and Togami and the others told Akira and the others to do so and went home one foot away.

After returning to base, Togami and the others had been summoned to the conference room by Mizha. First of all, I am informed that the process of selling the old world-made automatic doll has been completed, so Togami and the others have completed the standby procedure.

I look a little surprised as I rejoice that Togami can gradually return to hunter operation.

"If it's about that level, it should be the end of getting a call from around Mr. Arabe, but why would Mr. Mizha call me?

"The two deregulated people have a proposal for the next hunter operation. We have a massive city-led site exploration plan at the ruins of Kuzhara Street. And I want you to join me."

Togami was strongly intrigued, but at the same time looked even more suspicious. Mizha is a drancam executive on the Katsuya side and it's unnatural to hold such a story to yourself. The thought was strong on my face.

Mizha also quickly noticed the inside of Togami and smiled (cheeks) somewhere good.

"Of course, under Katsuya's command."

I'm hardly surprised by the attitude of the togamis. Because I knew it thinly. Only (just) the reaction was very different in Togami and Raina. Togami has a somewhat chilled attitude, and a mild upset can be seen from Raina's attitude. The difference was expressed in whether to make Mizha's offer a reason to go under Katsuya's umbrella without any choice, or a cut or pretext to go back under Katsuya.

Mizha carefully explained to Togami and the others the advantages of participating in the site exploration plan. Togami and the others did also understand that it was basically a good story to get enough profit. On top of that, Mizha asks with a calm look.

"So, what do you think? Though I think it's a perfect story for you."

Togami answers in advance of Raina, who is showing stray.

"Say no."

Mizha and Raina turn their surprise gaze to Togami. And Mizha turned her expression into something dangerous.

"… I think there has been a lot between you and us, but I think I've forgotten the pan and brought a good story. Still say no?

"Oh."

There is no swing in Togami's attitude. Mizha gets more and more in a bad mood.

"Even the meanness remains when you were festive and on track as the leader of the anti-Katyas? I'm telling you, anti-katsua doesn't work as a faction anymore, does it? That's all Katsuya's got."

As Mizha explained, the faction of Drankham, which was so divided, had already become a pro-Katsuya, passive or aggressive. Those who dislike Shikarabe as strongly as they do are still there, but they were not strong enough to be called factions.

"The only reason I'm inviting you (you) is because you've made a difference in bringing back an old world-made automatic doll, even though it's damaged. Otherwise, I wouldn't have invited you (you) to this side, which was all in conflict with Katsuya. This is still quite a concession, isn't it? You know that? Do you know what your future position will be if I say no?

Threats began to mix with Mizha's words. But still, Togami didn't shake.

"It's true that I was on track, and there's certainly a reason I said no. I also know that if I refuse, I will have more trouble. On the other hand, I understand that if I put it under him, I can be stronger than I am now because I have been given preferential treatment for equipment and requests. Besides, he's definitely stronger than me. I'm not going to tell you that I'm not going to stick under the weaker one than I am. Ning, I might pull my leg. I know it's a good idea to get help in that case."

Mizha shows confusion the other way around how she understands the favorable conditions firmly to the attitude of Togami, who speaks somewhere pale.

Then why did you say no?

"Sure, if I put it under him, I'd be stronger. But the strength that you get is the strength that presupposes his presence. I'll be strong as I am. I don't need strength that wouldn't work without him. I'm not going to be a part of that guy's component. I know you're pretty wasted. But I'm willing to risk my life. From that point of view, it's crappy. So I say no. I'll thank you for bringing me a good story"

The negotiations broke down. Mizha turns her cold gaze to Togami.

"... are you gonna regret this?

"That regret is what my lack of strength invites. Well, I don't have a choice. Excuse me."

Togami withdrew without looking back, once he bowed his head as a courtesy to Drancam executives.

Mizha moves her gaze from Togami to Raina.

"You'll take it, won't you?

The time has come to make a decision. Rayna shook off her stray.

"Excuse me. I refuse, too"

I just open my eyes to say Mizha can't believe it.

"Until you!? How do you know? If you miss this, you'll never get a chance to go back under the katsuya again!?

"There is certainly a desire to return to the Katsuya side (buckwheat). But I want to stand next to Katsuya. Under Katsuya, I'm not going back to being protected. Stand on the side (buckwheat) as a hunter even if you are on the side (buckwheat) of the katsuya. Even if I can't say I can get over it, I'm going to do my best until the day I chase him, until I gain the strength to stand next to him."

"You think that day is coming? They just let me go everywhere. With his talent and strength, Katsuya is already blinded to the city's directors? I just regret it."

"That regret is due to my lack of talent and effort. I have no choice. Excuse me."

Raina also bows her head and exits. The expression was somewhere satisfying. Mizha, on the contrary, did not seep through a strong caustic.

"Totally, always this guy..."

The grunt was somewhere child-stained.

As Raina walks out of the room, Siori and Kanae, who waited outside, give her an unexpected look.

"What's wrong?

"No, ma'am, were you expedient?

When Raina is wondering about a question that doesn't get Siori's guidelines, Kanae puts a supplement in some fun.

"My lady. You're talking about exploring the ruins in your room, or you've been solicited to join a team of Katsuya boys."

"Yeah, but what? You knew?

"Can you predict to some extent with prior information gathering? You even asked the togami boy a little earlier. So, me and my sister (ah) were expecting your daughter to return to the Katsuya boy's team. But judging by your daughter's condition, she seems to have missed that prediction, so I'm a little surprised."

"Ma'am, excuse me for not explaining it enough"

"Uh, yeah. Never mind. I wonder if I'm that easy on my face."

After Rayna answered with a slight appearance of illumination, she was slightly worried and whining (crushing). And get back on your mind and continue.

"So, I said no, so maybe I can't participate in that site exploration. But now that we're done selling automated dolls, we're free to move, so we can get Hunter back to business. I need to talk to Togami about my next appointment."

Siori and Kanae face to face with what Rayna hasn't noticed.

"Ma'am, with the completion of the sale of the automatic doll, we have also completely completed the training that Master Togami requested from Master Sikarabe. In other words, the team with Master Togami has been eliminated."

"What? Oh, yeah, but, well, that's nothing. As such, the team can go on, right?

"My lady. The Togami boy thinks his daughter is going back under the Katsuya boy. So it's like you're already planning on scheduling your next hunter run just for the Togami boy. I was getting in touch with someone soon."

"Huh!? Why didn't you stop!?

"So I thought you said it was a surprise."

Rayna rushes to retrieve the information terminal and try to get in touch with Togami. But I didn't want to connect. I had no choice but to hit a spot where Togami seemed to be and ran out.

Siori and Kanae immediately followed Raina when they looked at each other and smiled lightly and bitterly.

A palm is opening a mobile clinic again near the back of the Kuzsuhara Street ruins. The extension of the rear contact line has been interrupted, so hunters and others involved in the extension work were using their free time for site exploration in the back and quite a few customers.

Hunter-style stuff comes into the mobile clinic. When he saw the face, the palm gave instructions to lie down on the bed with his hands, closing the door of the mobile clinic, which was basically left open during the visit time.

Once again, the door to the mobile clinic opens. What was lying down in bed goes out. The face was different from when I came in.

The palm exhales.

(Though you do business with him, you're involved in a pretty shitty thing. I'm sure you haven't turned the city itself against the enemy just yet, have you screwed up? No, but you're spared giving up old world technology)

The palm deals in part with Tsubaki. It's a bump that's moving what seemingly humans looked like earlier. It was originally Tiol's terminal, an individual who kept his human form unchanged during the last raid. That's what the palm modified his appearance. There are a dozen other similar things. Formerly about a boy's body, but the palm technology has transformed him into a young and old man. In addition, I regularly changed it to my face. They were mixed with those who were working in the back of the ruins to run hunters and were acting for a different purpose.

The palms don't know what Tsubaki is doing manipulating them. But I don't even want to know. Always keep your promises. Not more involved than necessary. At least I don't turn from myself to my enemies. Because I believe that's the best way to go about dating someone like Tsubaki.

Another one comes into the mobile clinic again. The palm closed the door again.

Shikarabe is drinking with Kurosawa at a tame tavern. During the interim period, female employees for customer service were given a light samurai (Habe) to talk about each other's recent situation.

But on the way, Klosawa lowers them. It's no secret talk from here on out, but it's not about inadvertently leaking it around. I understand that. Sicarabe also gets a little drunk.

"So, Crosava, what do you want to hear today? Is that Dranckham's insight again? I'm sorry, but I can't tell you a big deal. Drancam is already dominated by katsuas these days. I'm in a pretty tough position, too. I'm not getting around to much information."

Shikarabe's slightly self-derisive expression also had a chilling atmosphere, and she was starting to see things.

"What I want to hear is about that rash."

"Well, there's nothing to talk about."

Show the attitude of rejection with Sikarabe's rather unpleasant look on his face. But when I saw the very serious look on Clothawa's face, I exhaled gently and relaxed my attitude.

"So, what do you want to hear?

"Actually, there's been a move in us lately to get back to Drancam."

"What joke? Most of them left because they didn't like the Drancam system, right? Why are you going back now? Just to be clear, things are getting worse. As much as I'm thinking about getting out of here, what the fuck?

"I think so, too. But it is true that there is such a move. Some of them are even trying to spoil sticking under the katsuya. As a trend, there are many thoughts of that hand to the people who were involved in the rear contact line expansion work. Katsuya and the area of activity overlapped, increasing the chances of seeing its activity up close, reviewing Katsuya and rethinking her thoughts. I don't think Tsujitsu (Tsujitsu) would fit that way, but I'm not convinced. I've always been tired of working on the rear line expansion, and there was a time when I took another request for work at the Ida Commercial Zone site and stayed away from them for a while. I wonder if something happened in the meantime. But there was no such thing as this when I heard the story in between. There's nothing to hide. Clearly, it's creepy."

Sikarabe was also a little confused by Crosawa's attitude as if he were talking about something like a suspicion.

"Shikarabe. You, you don't like katsuya, do you? Why do you hate me so much?

"Why, I ask the other way around, how do you say you like that kid in that condition?

"There are as many kids on track as there are. Even that togami does. When he was in good shape, you certainly hated him. But it wasn't as good as katsuya. There is too much difference in the degree of dislike, even though similar kids are constrained. Why do you hate only katsuya so much? What makes you hate Katsuya so much? What's the reason for that?

"Why, well..."

Sikarabe stopped the words in a surprising manner, trying to answer the reason. I can think of any number of reasons I simply don't like it. But there was no reason to scratch (or stand) so much disgust that it was comparable to the discomfort swirling inside.

Kurosawa also looks surprised at the appearance of Shikarabe.

"Come on, hold on. Tell them why, and they'll wake up and change their minds. I hate you so much. You got something, right? Physiologically impossible. That's why we're here, isn't it?

Shikarabe tries to find out why with a slightly intoxicated mixed head. As a result of the accumulation of fine disgust when he became Katsuya's educator? Were you even jealous of Katsuya's talent without knowing it? Yes, I'll ask myself a lot of questions, but I can't think of a compelling reason, and only the unreasonable result is that I hate you for no reason.

(... why?

Is it because of drunkenness that I don't think of a reason, or (there is) a hidden reason that I wouldn't even notice if I was more drunk? Sikarabe thought so with a surprising face, expecting the latter to put his mouth on the glass.
