The party let Julius and Rissa sleep in but wouldn’t let the jokes stop. Celeste felt free, she wouldn’t have to listen to all the thoughts of Julius and Rissa waiting to finally consummate that marriage.

"How do you think he did?" Levi joked.

"Poor kids probably were lost. It’s never fun your first time." Sasha slapped Levi’s hand.

"Well it’s fun for us.." Jubelle teased while kissing Ox.

"I can only imagine! Seriously though, is it really that bad for you the first time dear?" Levi exclaimed while gently running his hand through her hair.

"It was awkward. That’s all I’ll say. Ask captain chivalry over there," she said, pointing at Luscious.

Fortunately, Sera bailed him out. "I think it’s awkward for all women. He already told me he lost his virginity to you and you to him. I’m fine with it, really. But Levi, shut up. You have no idea. Plus you don’t have to carry kids."

"Or have a period. I’m glad demons and vampires don’t have that problem," Sasha said while raising her glass.

"Don’t miss those either," Brie said while raising her glass. "Perks of being a goddess."

"Wait, we don’t have any human females now, do we?" Mindy asked the obvious.

They looked around the room and were surprised. They never really thought about it like that. They always saw everyone as an equal part of the party.

"I’d like to add I’m the only beast type, well, if you don’t count Leila and Ignis over there. That baby comes out soon right?" Bishop boasted, his usual loud laugh echoing throughout the mansion.

"Should be any day!" Leila said happily.

"Seriously though, I have no idea what it’s going to be. What does a dragon and a phoenix make?"

"Something special," Ignis said with a kind smile.

"Mommy!" Emery said while sprinting out of his room, hugging Brie.

"Daddy!" Emma shouted while sprinting out of her room and tackling Sora.

"Well someone’s excited! It couldn’t be for the big party today could it?" Brie teased while booping Emery on the nose.

They were both still amazed how quickly their two year old children were growing. Neither of them looked two, more like 6 or 7 (six seven, couldn’t resist, sorry not sorry!). Emma’s eyes remained their beautiful teal color she was born with while Emery had the same golden eyes as his brother.

Xander finally walked out from the dojo. "Morniing everyone. Emma! Emery, wanna go play with Hope?!"

"Yeah!" They both cheered and Xander smiled and took them out back. They loved the decorations and Julius suggested getting a bouncy house for the kids. Pretty generous for an 18 year old who spent the whole night trying and finally succeeding to please his wife.

Julius and Rissa finally woke up and went for another round before they shared a shower and got ready.

"Happy Birthday sexy," Rissa said while kissing him in the shower.

"Why thank you. Best birthday ever." Julius said with a wide grin.

One more round couldn’t hurt, and Julius succeeded again in pleasing his wife.

"When do you think they’re finally going to come out of that room?" Sora joked.

"Next week probably," Brie rolled her eyes. "Seriously they’ve waited so long though, I’m proud of both of them."

"I’m just glad I don’t have to hear their thoughts anymore. My goodness those two wanted to rip each other’s clothes off for the longest time and every time they did something sexual that’s all they thought about for the day," Celeste said while shaking her head and mimicking going insane.

"You normally do a good job of zoning that type of stuff out. Was it really that over-bearing?" Shawn asked.

"It’s two kids married for a year agreeing not to have sex until they both turn 18. What do you think?" Celeste laughed.

Kory slapped Shawn across the face. Koda laughed. Then everyone laughed. Everyone loved the new additions to the party and Sora and Brie were getting used to the new faces.

"Oh, that reminds me, should we go pick up Xander’s friends now?" Sora asked.

"I think it’d be better if Rissa and Julius did. It’d look pretty lame if we pulled up with him... We could always let him take the car..." Brie suggested.

"No way. We’re not letting him get off that easy. We both had to wait until we were older, he can wait another 2 or 3 years. I know they drive themselves but we can’t just hand him everything." Sora said politely.

"You’re right babe," Brie said while giving him a kiss. "I’m going to go find out what’s taking them so damn long."

"Don’t!" Everyone screamed.

"Don’t what?" Julius said as he walked out with his arm around Rissa.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" Everyone shouted and Emma and Emery ran into and mauled Julius, who started laughing hysterically.

"Ok, ok, you two win! I get it, you’re strong!" Julius laughed, which made Rissa smile.

’He’s going to be such a great dad someday...’ she thought.

"Hey, will you take Xander and pick up his friends?" Sora asked Julius while tossing him a very very fancy looking keyfob.

"Woah, you’re going to let me take yours? Seriously?!" Julius asked, excitedly.

"Those aren’t my keys to my car. They’re yours. Newest model. Happy birthday kid." Sora said with a large smile.

Julius ran over and hugged Brie and Sora, who were both now standing. Rissa followed and they both were very happy.

"Thank you so much mom and dad!" Julius said. "XANDER GET IN HERE LET’S GO."

"Coordinates are in the car. Here’s a new phone for you and Rissa too." Brie said while handing them the latest models.

"Why are you being so generous?" Rissa asked politely.

"Look at our backyard. It doesn’t look like a birthday party for someone who just turned 18. It looks like a party for a bunch of kids. You really didn’t have to go out of your way to make sure Emma and Emery had a bunch of children to play with today. We received over 100 yes RSVP cards this week. We’re proud of both of you," Brie explained while squeezing Rissa.

"I hope you enjoyed your alone time," she whispered quietly.

"Thanks. It was awkward for awhile but we figured it out. Practice makes perfect right?" Rissa whispered back while blushing.

"If you need someone to talk to, just ask. I promise I won’t make it awkward." Brie whispered with a smile.

"Yeah, I will. I think I should use birth control. Can you pick that up for me?"

"Yes, Sasha and I will run and grab it for you. You were safe last night right?"

Rissa nodded and Brie smiled.

"Sasha, we have to make a run to Sorbella." Brie said and Sasha shot up.

"Sounds good."

"Where’s mama and auntie sasha going?" Emma asked her dad, as she was now sitting on his lap.

"Not sure. Looks like your brother is off with Julius and Rissa. I think people should be arriving in about 2 hours. We want to make sure your brother makes sure everyone is safe to enter before we let them enter is all," Sora said to a pouting Emma, who just wanted to have fun with other kids now.

"But we’ve waited like all day!" She complained.

"It was nice for your oldest brother to invite all the other kids. Go play with your brother, there’s plenty to do." Sora encouraged the kids.

They went out back and jumped in a magical bouncy house that shot them flying in the air. The party started gathering out back, some of them were sipping wine while others were waiting for later in the day.

After about 20 minutes, Xander showed up at Diana’s house and Liz wasn’t there.

"Hey Xander!" she waved.

Xander used his eyes to closely inspect her. ’Still dark green and super green in the head. Slightly pink... maybe she has a crush on me or something. It’s so faint though, that makes me happy’

"Hey Diana! Where’s your friend... Liz?" Xander pretended to play dumb, which took a lot considering how much of a genius the kid was.

"Oh, she said she’s sorry, but she couldn’t make it. Something about her parents not wanting her to go off to a party with a boy," she lied.

Xander noticed the flicker in her brain, but it wasn’t a bad color.

’She’s slightly lying, but why? I don’t want to reveal my secret...’

"Too bad. Let me guess, she just canceled about an hour ago?" Rissa said politely.

"Yeah... how did you know?"

"You have a nice friend. It was kind of her to let you share the day with Xander." Rissa whispered while giving Diana a hug.

Diana completely went red in the face and Xander saw her head swirling with colors of embarrassment, nervousness, happiness, appreciation and still had that slight hint of pink.

’Hm, maybe Liz canceled so we’d be alone? That’s weird.’ Xander thought, slowly putting the pieces together.

He didn’t really care. He wanted to spend time with Diana, not Liz anyway.
