Chapter 223 - 2.100 A New Visionary
Xander watched a giant fleet of space ships heading toward a smaller planet near Exteria. On them were cyborgs, but their leaders were human with metal worked into their skin. They were traveling at a great speed and quickly deploying smaller spacecrafts to land on the planet.
The planet was defenseless, the army could do nothing and Xander watched them slaughter the people with ease.
’I can think? So the leaders are all human and the cyborgs are AI... that’s absolutely creepy.’
The cyborgs easily shot down the inhabitants, which were mostly humans, with weird guns that fired lasers, not bullets. Then they started extending poles from their hands, sticking them into the dead bodies.
’Are they absorbing power?’
He noticed that some of them were running into houses and just by touch, they were implanting some type of virus into the computers.
As some of the lower level human leaders stepped down, they shot off their poles from their arms, landing in the planet’s ground.
"Take as much of it as you can," A commander ordered.

"Xander! Xander! Are you ok?!" Diana cried out, as Xander was on the floor, foaming at the mouth. She tried using every healing spell she had, as did Athena, but nothing was working.
He coughed a few times before wiping his mouth and he didn’t even care that he started spitting on the floor. His mouth tasted vile and he desperately needed something to drink.
"Water, or a blue drink, please." He muttered.
Diana teleported to the fridge and teleported back quickly, opened the blue bottle and gently poured it into his mouth, while gently lifting his head.
"You scared me!" She said as tears finally stopped falling from her face.
"I’m sorry babycakes. How long was I out for?"
"About 10 minutes Xander. You were also talking before you collapsed. You said something about an attack on a planet near Exteria," Athena said calmly.
"I am surprised our healing magic did not work on you. That was quite strange."
"That was crazy. Did you use your telepathy so you could see what I was seeing?" Xander asked while slowly sitting up.
"Yes. That was the first thing I thought to do. I wish Zeus would have given us your Dad’s linking magic. Athena, why has none of Sora or Brie’s children received that ability?" Diana asked, finally relaxing.
"I’m unsure. That does seem to be a characteristic very unique to Sora. Anyway, I feel responsible. That didn’t happen until he tried on his new armor set. Thank you for sharing with me what you saw, Diana. Thank you both very much for everything and I quite enjoyed your time in Paradise. Have a wonderful last evening and tell everyone I said hello and I wish you nothing but luck in the upcoming war." She said with a smile.
"It seems I must speak with Chronos and the Pantheon and figure out what’s going on with this. Goodbye young ones." She waved and disappeared.

"Hello Lady Athena." Chronos said politely.
"Hello Chronos. Is this threat legitimate?"
"I’m afraid it is, but not for some time. This would be a few years, if not more, after the war with Hades’ ends. So, nothing to worry about for now."
Athena sighed in relief. "Ok, good. They have enough on their shoulders. I should let them know."
"Yes, please do. Give them my best. Maybe Sora and Brie will be doing my job when that happens. That would be nice."
"Yes, that would be nice. I think Sora and Brie, as well as their children and party would deserve a nice break, although I’m unsure if the party or the children would take one. So many things still have to happen."
"Sora and Brie would gladly take the break, I have seen it. But you are right about the others, aside from maybe Levi and Sasha." Chronos smiled. "I think the core four of Exteria’s saviors could use a break after all of this."
"I agree, until next time." Athena said before quickly arriving back at Xander and Diana’s. They were cuddled up on the couch watching a movie.
"Oh, Nana Fena! You’re back already?" Xander asked, confused.
"Yes, but it’s just to tell you that I spoke with Chronos. Your vision is very far off in the future and not something you should dwell on. Focus on the war in front of you and don’t look ahead!" She exclaimed before disappearing.
Diana and Xander looked at each other, confused.
"Why the heck would she just tell us and leave?" Xander asked, shaking his head.
"Not sure. Maybe she’s tired and over a lot of this stuff as well." She shrugged.
"Anyway, I want to get you to bed and have another romantic night in Paradise before we leave tomorrow morning," Xander said with a wide grin.
Diana let him pick her up and the two teleported to their room for one last night of romantic, adult god fun.
******
Morning came and they woke up cuddled snuggly together. Xander had his arm wrapped around Diana’s chest and she always pulled his arm tightly so that she could feel his muscles, warmth and love.
"Well, I guess it’s finally time to go home isn’t it?" Xander sighed.
Diana smiled. "Yes! Finally!"
"Oh, so now someone is excited to get away from me?" Xander teased.
"Obviously! I’m going to ditch you all the time, go out, party hard, you know Liz really loves a banger. Oh my gosh... I just realized how the heck am I going to explain this to her?!"
"Simple, you tell her you’re a goddess and you passed the trial of the gods. It’s not like your eyes aren’t going to give it away anyway," he laughed.
"Oh! True. Ok, can I try the portal?"
"Of course you can! Also, she’s going to realize you aren’t exactly a young teenager anymore."
She blushed. "Well, at least we can shut the telepathy off because I don’t really want to hear what a lot of men are going to be thinking about me or what a lot of women are going to be thinking about you."
Xander hugged her. "I don’t care what anyone else thinks about me or you, all I know is I love you very much and you’re kind of stuck with me for eternity."
"Aw, thanks sexy. Ok, let’s get going!"
She drew a portal much easier this time, thought, ’Open’s Sora’s Mansion,’ and it opened much more quickly. They walked through and it was completely dark, so they tip-toed quietly through the living room.
’Release.’
"SURPRISE!" Everyone jumped out and screamed as the lights turned on.
