Reincarnated as a Half-God with SSS Abilities

"Xander and Diana are coming home today!" Emery exclaimed while running through the living room.

"Sh," Emma said, as she was trying to read a children’s book she really liked.

Lucious and Sera sat on the loveseat with Iris on Lucious’ lap. She was sitting and observing everything, taking it all in. Her cute black eyes with large blue pupils absorbed things like a sponge, and Lucious and Sera started to pick up that she was going to be a gifted hybrid. She even had shadows form from her hands one day, which made Lucious smile.

Ignis and Leila were on the other couch and Scarlet was spending more time in her human form lately. She could finally eat fire as a human without upsetting her stomach, and it usually made her fall asleep pretty quickly. Leila was just happy that things in the mansion were peaceful and everyone was treating her family so nicely.

Levi was busy training with Bishop, Julius, Jax, and Johnathan. Ox and Jubelle observed, coaching Mindy, who wanted to continue to get stronger. The group took turns sparring with her and coaching her on how to combine her abilities. Ox would explain how she should move and attack in her werewolf form and Jubelle would explain to her how to use her blood skills. She was packing a heavy punch, although she couldn’t fully hang with the stronger members yet, including the humans with companions.

Faye and Aegir kept splitting time between the mansion and MeadowSong, as Diana was expecting another child. They felt like they weren’t pulling their way in the party, but Sora and Brie consistently reminded them they did more than enough and that home is always home. Xavier and Mina stopped by once in a while to say hi, as did some of the Vampire families.

Summer was finally coming to a close and Sera realized that she had to start teaching at the school again, although Sora, Brie, Lucious and most of the party told her it really wasn’t necessary. Levi and Sasha weren’t going to teach there anymore, as they found replacements for both of them. Lionel would take over for Levi and one of her Valencia sisters, Abby, was going to take over for her.

"I don’t know Lucious, what do you think? I really don’t want to leave Iris but I don’t want to leave the kids hanging either."

"Well, what kids are you worried about leaving? Don’t you mainly teach the seniors anyway?" He asked while Iris managed to wiggle her way toward her mama.

Sera picked her up without even thinking about it, which made Iris cry.

"I’m sorry sweetie, were you trying to get over to me yourself? Here, go back to daddy and try again." She said while gently setting Iris back on her husband’s lap. Iris stopped crying and started scooting and wiggling over to her mama and she eventually made it, and Ignis, Leila and the couple cheered and congratulated her.

"Look, she’s smiling. I think she’s starting to understand! She was born in May, so she’ll be four months soon! That’s so exciting." Ignis said while Scarlet continued munching on his fire.

"Yes, she’s a smart little girl. I honestly don’t think I can go back to teaching. I don’t want to miss any of this. I’m sorry Lucious."

"Why are you sorry? You’re telling me I get to spend more time with the love of my life and you should feel bad about that?"

Sora overheard and walked into the living room while eating a snack.

"I’m glad you decided not to, I already had a replacement lined up for you anyway."

"Wait, who?"

"Me." Pride said with a smile.

"Seriously, don’t scare the hell out of the kids and try not to be so formal, they’ll tear you apart, I swear they know how to get underneath your skin." Sera said while laughing.

"I’m working on the formal thing, but no promises." He laughed.

"I figured it’d be good for them to have a demon teacher if you were stepping down. Julius could do it, but he’s recently married and I don’t mind."

"Thank you Pride," Lucious said with a smile.

"So when should we expect the mini little love birds?" Leila asked.

Brie sprinted into the room excitedly. "Soon! It should be in the next couple of hours."

"Someone’s excited!" Sora exclaimed while hugging his wife.

"Yay! Xandy and Dee-dee are finally coming home." The twins cheered.

"Last night, sexy." Xander said while they sat on the couch watching a movie together.

"I know, I’m nervous. Why am I nervous?"

"Probably because every man is going to drool over you when you walk through Sorbella. Imagine if we had to go back to school." He laughed.

She gently smacked him across his chest. "You act like the girls wouldn’t be hounding you either."

"I’m just glad I won’t have to see all the emotions floating around at school. That was my only real problem with it. I liked the other kids and stuff but if I hadn’t gone, I don’t know how I would have met you."

Diana thought about it for a second. She never had a vision that didn’t involve her meeting Xander at school, so she really didn’t have a clue either.

"Well I’m glad you did come, because I don’t think we would have met each other in a different way," She said while kissing his cheek.

Athena appeared.

"Well you two, are you excited to be going home?"

"Yes and no Nana Fena. Honestly, this has been a CRAZY experience. First we were feeling things out, then we had the trial, passed that, then we grew up really quickly, got married, trained a bunch, I’m surprised I still haven’t had a vision or anything yet." Xander said politely.

"Come to think of it, I haven’t either. I guess that’s one of the biggest differences between being a human and a goddess isn’t it?" Diana said while tapping her chin.

"Yes, you will only see visions regarding other planetary or Universal matters unless something major was to come to pass on Exteria. But that is a straightforward path, Hades will show up with a massive army and you will have to deal with and fight through it together." Athena smiled.

"Well, Xander, I felt bad that I never gave you a SSS rank set, so I had Hesaphus forge you one. It matches Diana’s, although it’s white with gold instead of white with pink. I gave you a claymore, so you two will have matching SSS sets now!"

"Woah, thanks Nana Fena! Can I try it on?"

"Of course silly!"

He used his telekinetic power to equip everything, and as his sword floated into his hand, his eyes illuminated and he froze.

"Oh no, he’s having his first vision!" Diana exclaimed.
