"That man’s apparition... It’s the mythical Three-legged Golden Crow."

"And that fire is even more terrifying! What kind of flame is that?"

At the sight of this fire, the assembled Kings and Sect Masters were so frightened their souls nearly fled their bodies. Their faces turned deathly pale.

"This fire is no simple matter! Everyone, run!" a King bellowed. The others followed his lead, seizing the opportunity to flee.

They didn’t believe Wu Tian would actually dare to kill them all. If he did, the entire Three Realms would be thrown into chaos. Would he still dare to hunt them down?

While they were whispering amongst themselves...

"ROAR!"

The dragon roared one last time before it was annihilated by the Three-legged Golden Crow.

Seeing this, the Kings and Sect Masters were horrified beyond measure. Their dragon, which they had thought was invincible, had been defeated so quickly. It was utterly unbelievable.

But that wasn’t all. The Three-legged Golden Crow had no intention of stopping there. It soared high on its wings, and a destructive aura radiated ceaselessly from its golden True Sun Fire and blood-red flames.

"Damn it."

"Look at it! The Three-legged Golden Crow isn’t planning on withdrawing."

"Is he really going to kill us all?"

The numerous Kings and Sect Masters felt their scalps tingle.

"Run!" one of the Sect Masters roared instantly.

The crowd scattered, fleeing in every direction.

"He can’t possibly kill all of us!" one shouted.

"That’s right," another agreed. "There are too many of us! What can he do?"

They were confident that Wu Tian would only kill specific targets, like Rui’er and her parents, the King and Queen. And perhaps the few who had spoken provocatively. As for the rest, they believed they would be spared.

However, Rui’er did not move. Her parents did not move either. Rui’er knew her death was certain; there was no escape. Her parents, meanwhile, were so heartbroken they couldn’t take a single step. They had never imagined their most beloved daughter would do such a thing. Even now, they still couldn’t believe it. Their daughter was only eight years old, so adorable. Why would she commit such a cruel act?

What was equally unexpected, however, was Wu Tian’s decision: kill them all!

Those who try to kill me shall be killed by me!

This was Wu Tian’s axiom.

As they fled, the Three-legged Golden Crow flapped its wings and gave chase. It moved like a bolt of lightning, arriving in the blink of an eye!

"NO!"

Death descended!

The Monarchs and Sect Masters in that direction felt every hair on their bodies stand on end. They wanted to dodge, but it was too late. All they could do was pool their strength once more, hoping to withstand the Three-legged Golden Crow.

Their Spiritual Power gathered into a single, brilliant point of light. The Three-legged Golden Crow charged it with ferocious intent.

BOOM!

An explosion reverberated throughout the entire royal capital. When the smoke and dust settled, the Three-legged Golden Crow was completely unharmed. Then, its claws shot toward them.

"NO!"

Several Monarchs were snatched by the Golden Crow’s claws and incinerated into nothingness by the True Sun Fire and the Red Lotus Karmic Fire. Even those not directly caught screamed in agony as the sheer proximity to the flames was enough to kill them.

AAAAAH!

Bloodcurdling screams echoed all around. Before long, every Monarch and Sect Master in that direction was dead.

The Monarchs and Sect Masters fleeing in other directions had already gone far enough to lose sight of the Three-legged Golden Crow. They breathed a sigh of relief. One group had just begun to relax when...

"Ah!"

The Three-legged Golden Crow appeared out of nowhere and tore a man’s head from his shoulders.

RIP!

A shower of blood rained down. He was dead beyond dead. The ferocity of the Three-legged Golden Crow was truly extraordinary.

AAAAAH!

One agonizing scream after another erupted from the lips of the Monarchs and Sect Masters.

Those fleeing in other directions heard the cries. They ran frantically, pushing themselves to their absolute limits. They couldn’t believe Wu Tian had gone mad. Did he really dare to slaughter them all right here?

Heavens, if that happened, the Three Realms would be thrown into turmoil! The blame would fall entirely on Wu Tian. Did Wu Tian truly not care about any of that?

They didn’t dare to gamble. Hearing the screams from the other groups, they cursed their parents for not giving them an extra pair of wings and an extra pair of legs.

The Three-legged Golden Crow, originally an apparition, had become corporeal but possessed no consciousness of its own. Its will was Wu Tian’s will. It had to do whatever Wu Tian commanded!

Now, the Three-legged Golden Crow flapped its wings. Instantly, plumes of True Sun Fire and Red Lotus Karmic Fire shot out like meteors, streaking in all directions.

It would not rest until every last one of them was dead.

"No!"

"Wu Tian, you can’t do this!"

Hunted by the True Sun Fire and Red Lotus Karmic Fire, they had no way to dodge, no way to escape. The flames were just too fast!

Under such overwhelming power, the survivors being hunted were pale with terror. Some could still run, while others’ legs gave out, leaving them to do nothing but plead incessantly for mercy.

Wu Tian’s apparition was too terrifying. Possessing two Divine Skills was an unheard-of, horrifying prospect.

"Wu Tian, we were wrong."

Those paralyzed with fear fell to their knees and begged. The dignity of a King, the prestige of a Sect Master—all of it was cast aside in the face of death.

"Mr. Wu Tian, it was our fault."

"We’ll apologize, we’ll make a public apology."

"Yes, Mr. Wu Tian, please spare us this one time."

They trembled, their pleas desperate and shrill.

By now, Wu Tian and his companions had arrived. The surrounding commoners, unable to contain their curiosity, had also gathered. When they saw the scene, they were stunned.

What were they witnessing? A king of a nation was considered a Son of Heaven. The master of a Sect was a supreme existence. In the eyes of the common folk, they were lofty beings, as untouchable as gods.

Yet here they were, begging miserably like stray dogs. No, they were more pitiful than dogs. They had cast away their immense dignity and fierce pride just to grovel. The stark contrast left the onlookers dumbfounded.

"Begging?" Wu Tian scoffed. "Si’er already gave you a chance. For her sake, I might have only given you a minor punishment as a warning to others. But you? You couldn’t even bring yourselves to make a public apology!

"And now, you kneel before me like dogs.

"But let me tell you, it’s far too late.

"You... can go die."

What?

The remaining Kings and Sect Masters shuddered violently. They hadn’t expected Wu Tian would still actually kill them. Thinking of his ruthless methods, they were so terrified their souls nearly scattered.

"No."

"We can’t die."

"Mr. Wu Tian, if I die, my nation will fall into unrest! Countless of my people will be plunged into misery."

"I cannot die either! I am a Sect Master! If I die, my Sect will be left without law or order. The strong will prey on the weak, and justice will cease to exist within its walls!"

They pleaded, offering their reasons.

"Bah," Si’er, nestled in Qin Yuhan’s arms, finally found a chance to speak. "You say that as if such things don’t already happen in your nations and Sects while you’re still alive!"
