After a long break, let the search resume.

Mr. Zara looked up at the grey sky and was sighing depressingly.

"Weather, does it feel dangerous?

"Maybe. But I don't know. Snow Mountain weather is whimsical."

Black clouds keep flowing. Oh, when it looked empty, they told me to go home early.

But I'm on a mission now. You can't go home.

Looks like Zara reported it to the captain at once.

"The weather isn't nice, but we're going a little further. We're gonna turn back when the wind gets stronger."

So we decided to move a little further.

Although it had not snowed, the snow that had fallen was getting deeper and deeper, making it harder to walk than earlier.

As always, I am progressing with a rope connection with Urgas.

He was at my pace and walking slowly.

Cold breeze blowing through the hippocampus.

Swinging branches, crispy stomping and sounding snow.

I've heard the same noise ever since I went into the mountains, but on the pretend, I heard a different noise. Ask Urgas to stop and clear his ears.

"- Ah!"

"What's wrong?

"Something's approaching us."

"Could it be your son who was missing?

"No... unfortunately, what you hear is the footsteps of a four-legged beast"

"Oh, no..."

It's still far.

But Sakukuku was approaching with purpose.

Perhaps we will meet in less than enough time. They must come after you even if you run away.

Urgas immediately reported to the captain.

When I heard it was a four-legged beast, I assured him it would be a snow bear.

Mr Gall says so, too. He said the smell of a thick, hostile-stripped beast was close.

The smell was scratched by the wind, so he said he was late to notice.

Everyone throw their luggage around the area, get their hands on each other, and take a fighting stance.

I was to retreat with Urgas. The rope that was connected is also broken.

"Nevertheless, I can't believe I run into a snow bear"

Urgas says in the tone that he's sick of the bottom of his heart.

I put an arrow on my bow, but I put my hand back where I was pulling the arrow feathers, and I was exhaling a great sigh.

"That sucks. I don't think it's windy enough to hit an arrow."

"Yes, I'm sure you do."

On a strong day like this, Fore Elf doesn't hunt either because he's a waste of arrows.

Once, some people read the wind and shoot arrows in the history of Fore Elf, but they were called legendary hunters. There is also the possibility of making up stories.

"Snow bears are among the ten demons you don't want to fight among the Knights, right? I can't believe we're going to confront each other."

"Yes."

From earlier on, I felt strange pressure and there was sweat on my forehead.

Snow bears are called medium demons, and they are forbidden to fight for less than five people.

"Prohibition is the only way to fight if you get out."

"Well, there's a lot going on."

Apparently the primary reason for the restrictions on fighting from the middle to the top involves the amount of compensation for occupational accidents. What if the amount of compensation paid for a breach of discipline drops considerably if you engage in combat activities below the prescribed number of people?

"Wow, that's some bad decision, that"

I also felt like I had heard the explanations around it, but the explanations of discipline were quite long, half a day, in addition to getting sleepy.

I guess I was sneering and listening, having never put people's stories in my ear for a long time.

"One more time, you have to read it back."

"Right. You should read it. Because knights have a high base salary, and because they don't refuse to come, they don't stop wanting to join the army, but there are a lot of pretty bad decisions."

"Uh-huh."

I thought it would be confusing if I had a conversation with Urgas, but I made the wrong choice of topic.

I feel so much heavier.

"Ah, sounds like it's time"

"Right."

The avant-garde captain had his sword and his posture was low.

I guess the snow bear is right around the corner.

"Squirrel, if you see a snow bear, stay away for a moment. Because I don't know what it is."

And when the two avant-gardes became incapable of combat, they asked me to go back to headquarters and report back to them.

"For once, I'm also educated by the health guards, so don't worry about treating the absence of the Squirrel health guards"

"Wow, I get it"

Hopefully, I won't be in that state.

The look on Urgas's face was unusually nervous.

I can't speak up very much. Stand still, spit and watch.

Red eyes float blurrier than the gaps in the trees.

Finally, the snow bear is here.

I will stay away from Urgas and watch my crew fight.

There won't be a day like today when I wish I had magic.

It must have been comforting to use restorative magic, blessings, etc.

I can only do first aid right now, so bite my teething thoughts off.

Speaking of the only thing you can do is look at the combat situation and go ask for rescue to search headquarters.

So no matter what happens, we need to keep an eye on the situation.

The snow bear finally revealed the whole story. Big. Big anyway.

I didn't know it was bigger than the captain on all fours.

He stood his white fur like a needle and peeled his fangs as he grunted.

I tremble with fear, even though I keep quite a distance. I had goosebumps all over my body and sweat was erupting.

Plus, worst of all, the snow mixed in with the wind of the beatings.

It's also hard to keep standing on the spot.

But the captains fought resolutely.

The captain stood up to the fierce snow bear in an offensive position.

Lieutenant Berley looks like he's peeking into the gap.

Mr. Gull was releasing a blow from mid-range, but it didn't look like he had a hard skin or fatal wound.

Is Zara after the tendon of her leg? The axe blade slashed the foot of the snow bear and there was red blood scattered across the snow.

The attacked giant leans about.

Together, they jumped backwards.

"Wow, this is the right time"

Urgas is blurry.

There was a strong wind, and his vision was bright white.

The snow became a protective colour, and the appearance of the snow bear was overwhelming.

In that, Urgas released an arrow.

I thought I'd let you go in the wrong direction.

"Oh, wow, wow. Yay!

Brilliant, the arrow hits Mr. Zara's injured foot.

It would be a lot of skill in this windy situation.

Further attack on the wound, the snow bear hovering around.

The captains go all the way back at once.

Urgas looked back at me too.

Squirrel, we're pulling out, too.

"Huh? Ah, yes"

Go as fast as you can through the deep snow.

While traveling, Urgas gave me an explanation.

I'm poisoning him, so he can't breathe while he's rambling around on his own.

All but my luggage abandoned. If it can be recovered later, they will.

Urgas brought me therapeutic tools, food, etc. It helps because I'm not sure about my health.

The rendezvous point is the cave I just stopped by.

There didn't seem to be anyone in there yet.

"Squirrel, you'll be fine. The captains are safe."

"Yeah, that's right"

I just have to believe in a bandit soul that no one in the captain can beat.

Beware, sprinkle holy water on the entrance and exit of the cave. Now, the snow bear shouldn't be close.

While we waited for the captains, we decided to eat.

Not much time has passed since the break, but I was astonishingly hungry.

Urgas creates a fire. Solid fuel supposedly made from the fat of the beast received in the supplies comes into play.

Smells more odorous than fires burned with firewood and tears with smoke, but not if you care.

First, I boiled the water and brewed the tea. It's a sinister herbal tea, but when I mouthed the warm stuff, it also made me feel some easier to stick it up.

"It's bad for the captains, but let's have it first"

"Right."

I opened a leather bag containing troop supplies.

In it, take out the sausage that's going to fill up quickly. I stabbed him in the fork and took it over the fire.

Urgas and I, we keep searing the sausage silently.

On the way, the sausage skin bounced patchy. The gravy overflows and drips into the fire.

The better the baking color, the better it will be. I took the bread out of the bag and gave it to Urgas.

Pray to God and start eating.

Let's start with a freshly baked sausage. Fat seeps out of the crust and burns his tongue. Because I season the coarse meat with vanilla and other dark eyes, or I didn't have to put anything on it, it was delicious.

The skin is crispy and the meat inside is prickly. The salt gas was strong and the flavour of the ingredients was concentrated.

Do other troops always eat such delicious food? That's what I thought.

"I'm sure this is a plug from a nobleman"

Oh, my God, that sounds like a fancy sausage that's hard to get into the mouth of a common man.

It's too delicious.

I thought if I finished my meal, I would cook something, but I didn't bring a large pot because it was heavy.

The small pot is for tea.

I feel a little short, so I thought I would cook without a pan and explore the inside of the bag.

Cheese in biscuits, smoked meat in liver patties. A crop that can be made without using a pan.

"Uh-huh. Oh, you can make canapés."

A canape is a pinch of alcohol that is eaten with cheese, vegetables, meat, etc. on a biscuit.

It was made by Maria, the former nanny of the captain's house.

"Please help me with Urgas, too"

Apply patties to biscuits, add cheese and shake black pepper gently. Others made everything from soggy to sweet, including a combination of sausage and cheese, braised forest apples (mermeladas) with sugar, and chocolate.

When the captains get back, I'll make a lot of them so they can eat right away.

Me and Urgas ate a couple of pieces, and I got hungry.

I don't know, my chest's full, and I can't get food going.

"Captains, you're not coming..."

Pompous and Urgas squeak. The voice color is dark.

At the very least, we were to continue our modest efforts to keep the fire afloat, picking up branches in the near field and coming to the fire.

Even if I clear my ears, I can only hear the snow squeaking. It fuels anxiety.

The captains didn't seem to be back yet.
