Chapter 452 - 425: Qi Xiaotian is Injured
Before the stone gate.
Luo Lanzi stared at the towering stone gate, his heart a mixture of shock and excitement.
He couldn’t say for sure what else lay within, but just looking at this gate told him there was definitely treasure inside!
’This time, my contribution is all but guaranteed!’
With that thought, he was about to eagerly call his men to enter with him, but Billson held up a hand.
"Luo, you can only bring two people in with you at most. The space inside is really limited."
Although he wasn’t sure if Billson was telling the truth, he didn’t dwell on it, wanting to be the first one down.
As for his own safety, it was the same old story: Billson wouldn’t dare to make a move on him.
He turned, summoned his two most skilled subordinates, and headed directly for the half-meter-wide hole.
Once they had crawled inside, Billson followed them in.
The sled slid down the passage, coming to a stop a few moments later.
But when he saw that the spacious hall below was filled with Huaxia People, Luo Lanzi’s guard went up instantly. He frowned at Billson, and though he said nothing, his meaning was plain for anyone to see.
However, Billson didn’t even spare him a glance. Instead, he walked straight to Fang Chenyi’s side, bowed slightly, and spoke in a very respectful tone.
"Boss, I’ve brought the men you asked for. This is the second-in-command of the Cobra Organization, Luo Lanzi. The other two are his right-hand men, one named Vilno, and the other, Big Goblins."
When Fang Chenyi heard these three names, he was momentarily speechless. He couldn’t help but inwardly mock the foreigners’ names. ’Luo Lanzi... sounds weird. And Big Goblins? What the hell, who names their kid after a monster?’
However, while Fang Chenyi was shaking his head, Luo Lanzi was already reaching into his coat to draw his gun. Even with his slow reaction, he could now tell something was wrong.
’That bastard Billson betrayed the Organization!’
’This is absolutely unforgivable!’
For traitors, the Cobra Organization had only one method: elimination!
But before they could even get their hands inside their coats, Qi Xiaotian had appeared in front of Luo Lanzi out of nowhere. A swift elbow strike landed squarely on his nose, sending a spray of blood into the air. The blow sent Luo Lanzi crashing to the ground.
Qi Xiaotian’s assault didn’t stop there. He followed up with a step forward and kicked the pistol out from inside Luo Lanzi’s coat.
With a flick of his toe, he sent it flying into his own hand.
Of course, Luo Lanzi’s two right-hand men didn’t fare much better. The crew members handling them might not have had Qi Xiaotian’s skill, but they had the advantage of numbers.
Three crew members against one man. They were pinned to the ground, unable to move, before they could even draw their guns.
Seeing this, Billson couldn’t help but flash a cold smirk. His greatest rival, now groveling before him like a dog. What could be more satisfying?
However, things rarely go so smoothly. Life is often full of endless variables.
Luo Lanzi, pinned under Qi Xiaotian’s foot, had his face pressed firmly against the ground.
And the ground was covered in a thick layer of Bone Powder.
On top of that, blood was still streaming from his nostrils after Qi Xiaotian’s elbow strike.
Desperate for air, he had no choice but to open his mouth wide and gasp.
In doing so, Luo Lanzi instantly got a mouthful of countless grains of Bone Powder.
What no one noticed, however, was that as the Bone Powder mixed with his blood in his mouth, it instantly transformed into a warm current that flowed down his throat.
"Brother Fang, he’s been taken down. Should we keep him alive?"
Seeing the man had been subdued, Fang Chenyi walked up to stand beside Qi Xiaotian and said,
"I have a use for him. Keep your foot on him for a bit. I’m going to have a word with him."
Of course, talking was just a pretense. Fang Chenyi’s real goal was to use Celestial Gods on him.
But he couldn’t tell Qi Xiaotian that.
He slowly crouched down, his eyes locking onto Luo Lanzi. A faint, almost imperceptible smile played on his lips as he began to activate ’Celestial Gods’.
One second, two seconds... time ticked by. After about half a minute, Fang Chenyi’s body suddenly swayed. Luckily, he was still crouching, so no one noticed.
He quickly fumbled in his pocket, pulled out a piece of chocolate, and stuffed it into his mouth. Once he had recovered a little, he spoke.
"Submit to me, and I will give you everything you desire, including the Cobra Organization."
At this point, Fang Chenyi was just putting on a show. His words were meant for the others to hear.
As for Fang Chenyi’s moment of unsteadiness and the fact that he was now eating chocolate, none of it escaped Qi Xiaotian’s notice. But this guy didn’t think much of it. After all, this sort of thing had happened with Brother Fang often enough before. Judging by the symptoms, he had always assumed Brother Fang had low blood sugar.
Setting aside Qi Xiaotian’s thoughts, Luo Lanzi, who was still pinned under his foot, suddenly shook his head after hearing Fang Chenyi’s words. His expression immediately turned respectful.
"Boss, I’ll follow all your orders from now on! Please step aside, I’m afraid I might accidentally hurt you in a moment!"
Hearing this, Fang Chenyi froze. ’What does he mean? Did my Celestial Gods fail? What is he about to do?’
The thought had barely formed when Luo Lanzi on the ground gave him an answer with his actions.
The man let out a sudden roar as an immense power erupted from his body. Qi Xiaotian, who had been standing on him, was thrown back by the force, stumbling a dozen steps before he managed to regain his footing.
He then looked on with a wary expression as the foreigner, now on his feet, swung a fist and charged at him.
His opponent was simply too fast. Before Qi Xiaotian could react, the fist was already right in front of him.
He had no choice but to raise his arms and channel his strength to block the blow.
THUD!
The next moment, the force of the punch sent Qi Xiaotian’s body sliding straight backward until he slammed into the stone wall with another THUD.
His momentum was stopped, but he then fell heavily from the wall onto the ground.
Not only that, but after the impact, an excruciating pain shot through both of Qi Xiaotian’s arms. It was obvious they were broken.
