"Sea God's Relic? What a load of crap. I can tell you with absolute certainty that I have no idea what that is."

Fang Chenyi shrugged at the bewildered Poseidon Robton. There wasn't a hint of a lie in his voice.

After all, he was telling the truth. Before coming here, he really had no idea what a Sea God's Relic was.

"Really? You're not really here for the Sea God's Relic? Oh. In that case, I think there must be some kind of misunderstanding between us. I had no intention of seizing your Diamond Mine. Really, believe me."

A flicker of hope sparked in the depths of Poseidon Robton's eyes. 'He's actually not after the Sea God's Relic. Looks like I was overthinking things. In that case, the situation might not be as bad as I feared.'

Poseidon Robton's thinking was simple. 'This man is incredibly powerful. If I could get on his good side, it would be nothing but beneficial for me.'

'He might even become my greatest ally in the future.'

At this thought, Poseidon Robton hurriedly added:

"Oh, my dear Huaxia friend. I think there really has been a misunderstanding between us. To show my sincerity, I'm willing to buy this place from you for three times its price. Oh, no—five times. I'll pay five times the price. Consider the extra money a token of my desire to be your friend. What do you say?"

Fang Chenyi couldn't help but laugh when he heard this. 'This guy really has it all figured out, doesn't he? Five times the price. Heh, he must think I'm a fool who doesn't know the true value of the Sea God's Relic.'

'Never mind the Bone Claw and the unknown mysterious object inside it that I have in my storage space. Just the sheer amount of Bone Powder in that stone hall is of incalculable value. It's something that can't even be measured in money.'

'I was already planning to use the Bone Powder from the stone hall to create a group of powerful subordinates. There's no way I'm handing this place over to someone else now. As for the so-called Poseidon Clan, they're nothing to me.'

Seeing Fang Chenyi just stand there, smirking coldly without a word,

Poseidon Robton's heart sank. 'Does he already know? Or has he already found the Sea God's Relic?'

As he mulled it over, Poseidon Robton's gaze swept over to Billson. The answer immediately clicked into place. 'Of course. With that guy by his side, how could he not know about the Sea God's Relic? Even if he didn't know before, he certainly does now.'

With that thought, Poseidon Robton sighed in resignation and continued,

"Oh, you're right. That traitor Billson must have told you everything. Since you already know, let's stop beating around the bush. I need the Sea God's Relic. As long as you can give it to me, you can name your price. I'll agree to any condition. I mean *any* condition."

At this, Poseidon Robton paused for a moment before continuing.

"Let me put it this way. I need the Sea God's Relic to gain control of the entire Poseidon Clan. If you help me now, then once I inherit the Clan, I'm willing to give you half of the Poseidon Clan's assets. All of it."

'Half of the Poseidon Clan's assets? This guy really is willing to go all in. I've heard that many of the world's major banks belong to the Poseidon Clan. What does that even mean? Even half of their assets would be enough to shake the entire global economy.'

The offer was undeniably tempting. Even Fang Chenyi, who owned countless large corporations himself, felt a stir of excitement.

He knew that compared to the Poseidon Clan, his own enterprises were probably insignificant.

Seeing Fang Chenyi lost in thought, Poseidon Robton didn't press him. He simply watched with brimming confidence, awaiting his answer. He believed no one could refuse such an offer. Even he wouldn't be able to.

And just as Poseidon Robton expected...

A moment later, Fang Chenyi asked in a slightly uncertain tone,

"Are you sure you want to trade half of the Poseidon Clan's assets for this?"

'Although I don't think Poseidon Robton can actually take control of the Poseidon Clan, it's not entirely impossible. Even if there's only a one-in-ten-thousand chance, if he really did succeed, it would be a great thing for me.'

Seeing that he had piqued his interest, Poseidon Robton nodded with great certainty.

"Rest assured. Anyone who knows me knows that my word is my bond. I always keep my promises. Just give me the Sea God's Relic, and you will become the future master of half the Poseidon Clan."

Upon hearing this, Fang Chenyi nodded in satisfaction, then smiled and extended his hand.

Poseidon Robton was stunned for a moment. Once he understood, he endured the pain in his arm, smiled, and extended his uninjured right hand to shake Fang Chenyi's.

One could say both men had achieved their objectives. As their hands clasped, a knowing smile, understood only by themselves, appeared on each of their faces.

Fang Chenyi stared into Poseidon Robton's eyes for a moment, then suddenly turned to Liu Yishou beside him and said,

"Yishou, take him to get his injuries treated."

With that, Fang Chenyi didn't linger, turning to walk toward the stone hall.

Seeing him just walk away, Poseidon Robton grew anxious, not understanding what he was doing.

But before he could speak, Fang Chenyi, who was already a few steps away, seemed to read his mind. He waved a hand dismissively without turning around and said coolly,

"Go get yourself treated and don't worry. Since I promised you the Sea God's Relic, I will give it to you. Relax, I'm going to get it for you now. Don't even think about following me. Otherwise, I won't hesitate to kill you."

After saying this, he strode off into the distance without any further delay.

Gazing at Fang Chenyi's mysterious departing figure, Poseidon Robton was filled with a mix of emotions.

Part of him wanted to follow, but he was genuinely afraid the man would actually kill him.

He sighed in resignation. He couldn't beat him in a fight. All he could do now was wait.

As for Fang Chenyi, the corners of his mouth curled up unconsciously once his back was turned. 'The Sea God's Relic. I went through hell and back to get my hands on it. How could I possibly hand it over to him?'

'Of course, since I promised him *something*. I can't give him the Sea God's Relic, but I can give him something else instead.'

'As for what to give him, isn't that simple? I'll just grab a handful of Bone Powder from the stone hall, give it to him, and tell him *that's* the Sea God's Relic...'
