"Do you have time today? You could do a fitting first. If anything doesn’t feel right, there’s still time to make adjustments."

Georgia Thorne always strove for perfection in her work, so she took full responsibility. If Tiana Underwood felt anything was unsuitable, she still had time to make changes.

Tiana Underwood quietly consulted her assistant on the other end of the line before giving Georgia Thorne an address. Georgia replied, "Okay," and hung up.

They scheduled the meeting for the afternoon. Georgia Thorne told Vivian Sawyer the time and place, and Vivian gave her an "OK" gesture.

A female celebrity’s greatest assets are her figure and her face, and Tiana Underwood had both in spades.

Everyone wants to be beautiful, and that certainly didn’t stop Tiana Underwood from wanting to be even more so.

Tiana Underwood had no events scheduled for the afternoon; she was spending her personal time at a beauty salon for facial and body treatments.

When Georgia Thorne and Vivian Sawyer went in, Tiana Underwood had just finished her body treatment.

After the treatment, Tiana Underwood’s skin was even fairer, more lustrous, and hydrated. She had just stepped out of the shower, and the water droplets on her body hadn’t been dried yet, shimmering under the bright lights.

’Part of the reason Tiana Underwood is so beautiful must be all these treatments and care routines,’ she thought.

"Miss Underwood, here are the three outfits. You can go try them on. If anything doesn’t fit, please let me know." Georgia Thorne had Vivian Sawyer hand the bags to Tiana Underwood.

"Alright, Miss Thorne. Please wait a moment."

Tiana Underwood had a private room. A staff member brought them two glasses of hot water. "Please, have a seat, ladies."

"Okay, thank you!"

Vivian Sawyer took a sip of hot water, looking around the room and clicking her tongue in amazement. "Celebrities are so rich! This level of lifestyle is just incomparable!"

"I just glanced at the prices here. Even the cheapest facial massage costs over ten thousand yuan!" Vivian Sawyer took another sip of water. She needed to calm her nerves.

Her monthly intern salary was so tiny, it wasn’t even a fraction of what Tiana Underwood paid for one facial massage.

’Life really is harsh.’

Tiana Underwood changed quickly, emerging in a bright yellow gown.

The effect of seeing it in a picture was vastly different from wearing it in person. Tiana Underwood was even more satisfied.

"How do I look?"

"It’s absolutely stunning!" Vivian Sawyer’s eyes went wide with envy, wishing she had Tiana Underwood’s amazing figure and skin.

Tiana Underwood looked down and did a little spin, very pleased herself.

"Miss Underwood, is there anything that doesn’t feel right?"

"I think the waist is a bit loose. I’ve been working out recently, so maybe my waist has slimmed down!" Tiana Underwood said, pinching her waist. Georgia Thorne walked over and measured it with her fingers. "I intentionally made the measurements here a little larger, to prevent certain special situations from happening."

"Special situations?"

"For example, if you look so beautiful, Miss Underwood, that those foreign designers can’t control themselves and swarm you to take pictures, this will make it easier for you to escape!" Vivian Sawyer jumped in with an example.

Tiana Underwood couldn’t help but laugh out loud. "That makes a lot of sense."

After trying on all three outfits, Tiana Underwood expressed her complete satisfaction and had her assistant pack them up.

"Miss Thorne, I hope we can work together again. I love your clothes."

"Of course." Georgia Thorne gave a polite smile.

On the way back, Vivian Sawyer was chattering away. "By the way, Miss Thorne, do you have any travel plans for the New Year?"

"The New Year? I’m not sure yet. I’ll probably just stay home," Georgia Thorne said.

Time really flew by. In the blink of an eye, it was the end of January.

The Lunar New Year was late this year, falling in early February. As the end of the year approached, Elliot Sheridan became exceptionally busy.

He left early and came home late; she barely saw him. She would be asleep and, in the middle of the night, feel his cool body wrapping around her. But by the time she woke up in the morning, the man beside her was already gone.

Besides the indentation he left on the bed and his lingering scent, she almost suspected she had only dreamed he was there.

Elliot Sheridan was busy, but Georgia Thorne wasn’t having a much easier time.

This pressure wasn’t from work, but from Elliot Sheridan’s mother, Sharon Ennis.

With Elliot Sheridan busy at work, Sharon Ennis often called Georgia Thorne over to the family home to ask her about wedding plans.

Sharon Ennis was quite traditional. Her son getting married was nothing to be ashamed of; she wanted to throw a lively, grand celebration.

She also indirectly asked about Georgia Thorne’s family, but Georgia was at a loss for words. If Sharon Ennis knew that her mother was Naomi Shaw, the very woman Carter Sheridan had chased abroad, would she fly into a rage?

’After some thought, she decided it was better not to say anything.’

On the last weekend before the New Year, Elliot Sheridan finally had a day off.

It wasn’t because of a holiday, but because he was about to leave for a week-long business trip to Breccon that afternoon, after which he would return with Selena Sheridan.

In their small room, Georgia Thorne was packing his luggage for the business trip.

She had heard the temperature in Breccon wasn’t very cold, but Georgia Thorne still packed him a heavy down jacket, along with two suits.

"Can’t bear to see me go? Why don’t you come with me?" Seeing her dawdle for half the day while packing his luggage, Elliot Sheridan couldn’t help but wrap his arms around her from behind.

The room was very warm, and they were both dressed in thin clothes. Through the two thin layers of fabric, she could feel the scorching heat radiating from his body. It was intense.

Georgia Thorne turned around and wrapped her slender arms tightly around his waist. It was true she couldn’t bear for him to go. The New Year was almost here, and he still had to go on a business trip.

Tilting her head up to look at him, she said, "I have to work, too."

Elliot Sheridan lowered his head, moving closer to Georgia Thorne’s small face. He slid a hand under her bottom and lifted her into his arms. Georgia clung to him like an octopus.

"It’s still early. You can quench my thirst first."

He smiled, laying Georgia Thorne on the bed. His tall frame straddled her. With slow, deliberate movements, his slender fingers loosened the tie she had just knotted for him, tossing it aside before methodically unfastening his buttons.

’He’s being a rogue again!’

Elliot Sheridan’s flight was at ten at night. They fooled around for a while, and by then it was almost nine o’clock.

They did it three times. The last time, they didn’t even use a condom.

Georgia Thorne didn’t let him pull away, whispering softly in his ear, "Let’s have a daughter."

’She actually quite liked the idea of a daughter.’

Hearing this, Elliot Sheridan was overjoyed. He held her down for a forceful kiss. If it weren’t for the lack of time, he really wouldn’t have wanted to let her go.

Georgia Thorne came out of the shower with a flushed face. Seeing him slowly getting dressed, she walked over and took the initiative to tie his tie for him.

"When you get to Breccon, you have to be good. No looking for other women, understand!"

Elliot Sheridan snorted. "If you’re that worried, you should just come with me!"

Elliot Sheridan had been wanting Georgia Thorne to go to Breccon with him, even if just for a vacation, but she stubbornly refused to skip her work.

"If I find out you’ve been with someone else, you’d better watch your neck!" Georgia Thorne pretended to be angry, tightening her grip on his tie, but his expression didn’t change.

She didn’t dare to actually choke him; she just wanted to scare him a little.

When Owen Sawyer came knocking, Elliot Sheridan and Georgia Thorne were inside, locked in a passionate kiss. The interruption shattered the mood, so when Elliot Sheridan opened the door with a dark expression, Owen Sawyer thought he must have done something wrong.

"Go stay at the family home tomorrow. I’ve already spoken with Mom. She’ll come pick you up."

"I know, you should get going now!" Georgia Thorne said, covering her flushed face and urging him to leave.

After work, Georgia Thorne received a call from Sharon Ennis, who told her to wait at the entrance.

After saying goodbye to her colleagues, Georgia Thorne hurried downstairs and got into the car.

"Don’t worry, Elliot already talked to me. It’s so dangerous for a young woman like you to live alone!" Sharon Ennis said, holding her hand.

To help with the move, Sharon Ennis had even found a strong driver to come over to drive the car and help move things.

The apartment was tiny; its total square footage was smaller than Elliot Sheridan’s bedroom. It was small, but kept neat and tidy.

’You could tell Georgia Thorne was the type of woman who knew how to run a household.’

Sharon Ennis had doted on Elliot Sheridan since he was a child, believing him to be the most outstanding of them all. Consequently, she placed great importance on the person he chose.

As time went on, Sharon Ennis grew to like Georgia Thorne more and more. She felt that besides Georgia, no one else could make her disobedient son so compliant.

’Elliot was even willing to live in a place like this for Georgia Thorne’s sake. This shows his affection isn’t just some passing fancy.’

There were quite a few things in the apartment. She had already packed a lot into boxes the previous night.

The driver went up and down several times, gradually moving all the boxes downstairs. Only after the landlord had carefully inspected the apartment did Georgia Thorne return the key.

When she first rented this place, she hadn’t planned on getting back together with Elliot Sheridan. After all, she hadn’t been able to get over the hurdle in her heart back then, so she had paid a full year’s rent.

Later, as she and Elliot Sheridan slowly rebuilt their relationship, he was constantly in her ear about moving. Taking advantage of his business trip, Elliot had asked Sharon Ennis to talk to her.

With Sharon Ennis there, it was impossible for Georgia Thorne to say no.

Fortunately, the landlord was a good person and refunded her the remaining rent.

On the night she moved into the Sheridan Family home, Georgia Thorne had just finished showering when Elliot Sheridan called, as if he knew she would be free right at that moment.

"Where are you?" the person on the other end asked, sounding to be in a rather good mood.

Georgia Thorne was sitting on the edge of the bed, casually flipping through a photo album that Sharon Ennis had found for her. It was filled with pictures of Elliot Sheridan as a child.

She huffed into the phone. "I’m looking at your childhood photos!"

"Why are you looking at those? Did my mom show them to you?"

Georgia Thorne hummed in agreement. The album was thick; the front had photos of Elliot Sheridan’s older brother, as well as Elliot himself. "I noticed you and your brother looked quite similar as kids. How come you don’t look alike now that you’re grown up?"

"Is it because I’m more handsome?"

"Stop being so vain!" Georgia Thorne scoffed. It wasn’t that she was biased, but when comparing the two brothers, she had to admit that Elliot Sheridan was indeed much better looking.
