SECTION IV Swansy Forest * Illustrated

We walked into Swansy Forest for a little while and we found a rock and started a fire there. Unlike the streets in the woods, they are not as snowy as they are because of the tree lids. Leaves that can withstand the weight of falling snow, even in winter, can be said to be the hallmark of the Swansy Forest here.

"Oh, I'm so freaked out"

Everyone surrounds the flames, each wearing wet gloves and the like on the branches and starts drying them off. Speaking of which, take the ingredients out of the carrier and prepare the dishes. I always keep the ingredients in the hemp bags, but this season is so helpful because they are hard to rot.

"Ahhh, I'll come back to life wow..."

Toslin squirmed so happily as she put her hands on the flame.

"I'm already hungry. Iris, make it quick and make it."

"Yes, sir. Wait a minute."

I sat on a chair replacement stone that Toslin had prepared for me and put a portable slab on my lap. I have some bread I got from Charli before I left, so if I pinch the chopped vegetables and Barbato smoked meat in this, I can make an easy sandwich. But this is all I don't taste, so let's apply some mayonnaise and lemon juice to the bread.

"Still, it's a dark forest. It's like at sundown… the villagers carry the lights even in the middle of the day."

That's what Mr. Rosé said as he looked around. Right now, probably a little around lunch, so the sun is still in the sky. By the way, I see the blue sky, from which the light falls to the ground, like a pillar. But if this is the night, it should be quite dark in some places.

"Speaking of which, I was just talking about a fairy, and you said that Eilees had magic or something."

Carol sat on the stone and said so with her legs plumped.

"Oh, speaking of which, you said something, but I didn't hear you very well. What about Rosé?"

"Uh, I was into battle, too, so I don't really remember"

Inevitably, everyone's gaze concentrates on me. I ignored it while pretending to be as busy as I could, but finally I couldn't stand the weight of everyone's gaze and looked up.

"Actually... you know, just a little bit... magical... I do. But it's just a little bit!

My eyes go to Toslin. Kind of doesn't this look like you're being sarcastic about an unwitting toslin? Not good. Not good.

"Heh, that's not amazing. Why did you keep quiet? Not a bit of a fine talent."

But Toslin was as happy as he was about himself, and I got a little, embarrassed.

"Well, it's hard to say if someone is so close that they don't have what they're supposed to be. Hey, Rose?

"Huh? Oh, uh... So, but there was something about people who were not good at each other, and the way you decided to do it in general..."

Mr. Rosé answers rarely and elsewhere. Naturally, that's because there's Toslin. What, at the time, she punched Carol in the head as an example, and then turned to me.

"Hey, what kind of magic can you use? You know you have magic, so you're learning one or two, right?

"Oh yeah...... I was learning. There was a wizard's grandfather living in town, so he taught him magic since he was about ten."

I'm sorry I seem to betray Toslin's expectations, but I decide to talk as I am. You lied to me, and nobody's gonna do anything special.

"But, you know, I couldn't master one after all. Haha, the grandfather told me that if I worked hard, I would definitely remember, but... I stopped"

"Eh. What a waste. If Atashi had magic, he'd be an absolute wizard."

I handed it out to everyone, in turn, from the sandwich I could.

"Because at that time, I was still satisfied with reading the book. I didn't think you might be able to be like the characters in it. Of course, I still do... Anyway, I stopped. So I'm still the bookstore's daughter."

"Aren't you sorry?

Carol keeps her sandwich, and she turns to me.

"Ugh. I didn't. Something I read a lot of books every day and found out about a lot of countries and there are a lot of different worlds. I don't regret it. Yeah, I didn't."

As I tell myself, that's what I said.

"Look, eat fast. 'Cause I'm pretty confident."

"Yeah, that's right ~ once. Mugu... Mogu Mogu... Yum!

Carol must have been pretty hungry, she looked so happy and started eating obsessively.

"Really, it's delicious. Just applying mayonnaise to the bread can change the flavor."

"Right. The meat that you are used to eating also feels fresh."

I feel safe hitting the sandwich because it seems to be well received by both Toslin and Rosé. Spread in the mouth, the aroma of bread, the acidity of mayonnaise and the flavour of meat. These are information not known in the book. Above all, this is my own journey, not the trajectory that others follow.

"Yeah. Good job. Good job."

I move my mouth in praise of myself. If you look up, the fantastic sight is spreading. I ran into a goblin. I also met a fairy. I also saw a moving golem. Those could have been a life-long event, sitting in a shop chair. If you think so, I have to admit one truth.

I have no regrets that I have ever lived as a bookstore daughter. But I'm not even satisfied.

Then another few hours, we kept walking in the woods. Even after the sun went down for a while, we relied on the lamp lights to walk further. But Carol's tummy starts ringing and stops by the way. I set up a tent in the woods today and decided to camp.

We finished dinner. We were tired of fighting goblins too, so we were supposed to stand guard and rest in turn. The only thing I didn't do was buy a watch and got out, but I was drawing a map with firewood on the bonfire, especially since I had nothing to do with it. Well, when it comes to maps, it's not something authentic, it's like 'where and how many things happened', a substitute for an extension of the diary.

"Hmm? What's going on, Carol? Can't you sleep?

I crawled out of my tent with Carol rubbing my eyes there, but it hasn't been four hours since I said how the work went.

"That, Iris? Oh... well, it's barely been long."

"Yeah, there's still time for a change. Get some rest."

"Uh-huh, you can't even sleep with your eyes"

Carol comes next to me and sits on a stone. The air is cold, and when you stand still, it cools off your feet. I invited Carol into the guard poncho where I was weaving feathers.

"Wow, that's warm, Carol. It's so muddy ~"

I thought it would be cold for you to let him in. It was me, but on the contrary, I'm warmed up. About that time, Carol's body was pompous and warm.

"I guess. I don't know."

Carol is looking at the sky and boggling as I hug her. Follow Carol's gaze. I also looked up, and there was a round, swollen moon just peering through the trees.

"Ah..."

I leak my voice. Such a beautiful full moon that I of man can breathe unexpectedly. If Carol, a warwolf, sees something like that......

"What are you doing, Iris? Speak up weird."

Looking down in horror, there was Carol with clear eyes looking at me.

"Oh, uh... nothing, it's nothing. I just thought it was a beautiful month..."

"You don't have to hide it. I asked if it was okay for Atashi to look at the moon. He looks like him."

Carol is savvy. I'm not good at counting things or anything, but I'm smart, not in that sense. My thoughts, etc. become easily visible to my sparkling eyes in the moonlight.

"Oh, I'm sorry..."

"Well, it's not like I'm fine. I'm definitely excited to watch it, and I can't sleep, because I'm sure that's why. In fact, after seeing the moon like this, looking at the Iries, I think it looks amazing... yummy."

Moment after moment, Carol's lips edge hoisted so demonic that I felt something zoggly cold in my spine.

"What... are you lying?

"Yeah, lie. Well, there's something about it that looks delicious in a different way."

"Stop it, you're the drunk father"

Soon Toslin stood beside him, poking Carol's head in the knob.

"It hurts already..."

"I guess it's because you say weird things. Iris, you have to get mad sometimes, don't you?

"Uh... yeah, but... sometimes I don't really understand what you're saying..."

"What the hell!

Apparently Carol was shocked by my words, which surprised me with exaggeration. Because it's true.

"Than that, Toslin...... I'm sorry. Did I wake you?

"No, no, I've had enough rest. Thought I'd take turns. What were you talking about?

"Even if Atashi looks at the moon, it's a die job ~? I'm talking about it."

Carol answered with a fumble as she rubbed her slapped head.

"Oh, about that...... Well, actually, you look okay when you look at it."

Toslin also looks up at the sky and stares at the beautiful moon.

"Aren't you okay?

He said, "Oh, my God. It's him. For Atashi's sake, it's not a diet job. It seems fine for me to ask other warwolves or something. Really, why not? Half a half. Come on."

"You're doing it badly on a daily basis. Well, Iris, good luck on the lookout. I'll do it later, you go to sleep."

Actually, it was time for the eye lid to get heavier and it was hard, so I decided to thank you for letting me take this offer.

"Ugh, yeah. Thank you. I'll let you do that."

"Yes, rest. You too, Carol. Sleep with Iris."

"Eh. But I'm not very sleepy."

"I guess I'll start saying that if I don't sleep like this, I want to sleep at noon tomorrow. Just go to sleep."

That's what Toslin told me, and Carol walked into the tent with me as she said bumps. There Mr. Rosé rested quietly, so we walked in a narrow tent with snug feet looking for a blanket.

"Carol, over here. Sleep with me."

I invite you to Carol's warm skin romance.

"Ugh. I feel kind of used."

Because this kid is really sharp where he doesn't have to be sharp anymore.

"That's not true, come here. Because I'll stroke your head."

"Well, it would be a big mistake if you thought that would catch a sea urchin."

Carol is a cute guy around the corner sneaking into my blanket saying something like that.

"Ha... there it is... You're a good girl. Where's Carol? I want to hold her like this forever."

"Toslin said that before, but when it was summer, she told me to stick around. I wonder if Iris does the same."

"Yes, I hate it. That's not true. Look, look, let's sleep better than that. Good night, no..."

I'll stroke Carol's head as promised. Carol was sleeping with Suyasuya when she noticed, and I do think she laughed when she saw it.

Spending the night in the Swansy Forest, we reached the village of Lelton, our destination, after noon on the coming day. I was thrilled to see when I'd run into that golem along the way, but without it, I'm relieved first.

The village of Lelton seems quite small in size, and it feels like houses are densely built in spaces where trees are cut down and made. There is no such thing as a green ceiling whispering the light of day just because people's lives are being run, and now the blue sky is spreading overhead.

The roof of the log house-style house is packed with dokah and snow, and it melted in the sun. That's the occasional dozadosa drop. Snow falls and exposed roofs have cockerel, creating a bright contrast to the white and brown worlds. And last but not least, considering the population of the town of Riffron is 1000, I think maybe less than 500 people live there. Less?

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... finally. Find an inn and get some rest."

Carol, who crouched through the village gate, said so with the most opening, rubbing his stomach. I'm hungry for some of it, too, but now I can't help but find this new, footed village unusual. Marutai's house feels like a village in the woods, so nice.

"It's you... you don't realize you're here to work"

Toslin sighs on such a carol. Entering the village we came to the center in a curious gaze. All I see are children and women. For some reason I don't see a man.

"Maybe I should tell my client before sundown and talk to him first."

"Right. Let's just do that."

When Mr. Rosé said so, Toslin nodded. Well, to be honest...... I've been walking around all day and my feet are like sticks.

"Wow... I'm still walking... I'd love to take my boots off soon. I want to dry my feet."

When Carol looks up into the sky unexpectedly, the whiny voice of Toslin flies.

"Yes, you do. Walk. We adventurers walk anyway. Think it's your job to walk."

When Carol's back is bashed, Toslin and Mr. Rose pull Gortmund and go first. The rest of us, me and Carol, looked at each other in the face and sighed.

"Oh, I'm already... I'm dying of hunger..."

"Ho, look. Good luck. In a little while, you can rest, I'm sure."

I'm the one whose rarity helps and remains more energetic than usual, but the truth is, it's pretty tough. My words seemed to say to myself half the time.
