Section Three: The Snow Giant

"You stay here! Don't you ever move."

Even if Toslin doesn't tell me, that's all I can do. The goblin, approaching with a weapon in his hand, clumps a thin-skinned torso in his grey-green skin. More than ten just looking at it. I've met him a few times before, but still, it doesn't make any difference what I fear.

"Oh, thank God!

A fairy flew in with Byune and hid on Goltmund's back. Oddly enough, when he and I were dressed in the same outfit, the fairy chipped and tongued.

"Oh, my God, what the hell! Fight now!

My emotion, which was thrilled to see a fairy I rarely saw, cooled in one word at a time. This guy's got a really bad mouth.

"Damn, you said that, I can't fight you. Shit!

"Damn, your magic is adorning!

"Yeah, right! Decorative, evil?

As a matter of fact, I am born with magic. Apparently my distant ancestors had a wizard, and my neighbor's wizard grandfather told me it was his influence. But its power is insignificant, not very much, but it doesn't help the fight.

"I guess it's decided badly! You shouldn't be so proud of me. You shouldn't have said that. Yo!

How happy I would have been if I had used this magic to help at all. But in reality I'm when I can't even start a little fire like a match.

"You guys shut up. Yikes! Look around you if you don't want to die!

I heard Toslin yelling and I turned my face forward hah. There Toslin and Mr. Rose are turning their backs on us and fighting the Goblins. The long sword of Toslin cut the wind and scowled the torso of the goblin. Blood buzzed up and dyed the white snow red. The goblin is already out of breath.

"O goddess, you have sinned and sinned."

When Mr. Rose played Goblin's rustling dagger with a large shield, he hit Goblin in the head with a heavy togette mace. There was an unpleasant sound of gotcha, and Goblin was buried from his face in the snow at Mr. Rose's feet. After that, that goblin never stood up.

"All right, that's good, you two big guys! Hey, little one! Oh, man, it's you. Yikes! Black and white chick there!

The fairy started yelling at Carol this time. How the hell can I shout like this when the size of my body is about my head?

"What, you're busy right now, don't talk to me."

Carol seems to have been disturbed when she was told she was a chick and replied in a grumpy manner. What that Carol was doing now was holding a bow in the luggage car and making sure the strings were in good shape.

"Holy shit! What are you doing, just shoot them!

After I stuck the string with my fingers twice and three times, I stared at the arrow and squeezed it.

"You don't have to tell me. I will. Shut up, it's like Toslin's two."

"Whoa! I can't hear you. Come on!

As soon as Toslin penetrated Carol's light mouth, the sound of a bang dried up and the arrows released momentum.

"Giggy!

The arrow stabbed him in the chest of the goblin so that he could be sucked in, and how he fell.

"With or without. Come on, I'll shoot you, man. Both Toslin and Rosé, watch your back."

"You shoot with caution!

While Toslin was ramming into discipline, Carol continued shooting two arrows, one of which hit Goblin in the head. Mr. Rose has already defeated five goblins and Toslin has finished almost the same number of goblins. Speaking of which, I'm just clinging to Goltmund's warm hair and shaking.

"Ah, yabba..."

"Mr. Carol, I missed one!

But at that time, looking back with the face that Toslin had gone away, Mr. Rosé raised a sharp voice. Carol has noticed that, too, and has already squeezed her bow.

He said, "I know."

Bassin 'strings sound and arrows pop out.

"Eh... hey, hey, hey, hey!

But the arrow blurred beside Goblin's body and pierced the snow ground. That means the goblins come running this way intact......

"Oh, that? That's crazy."

I can hear Carol's blurry voice coming from behind, but I'm already panicking and I don't have time to get stuck.

"Come on, come on!

I also forgot to pull out my hips dagger, just clinging to Gortmund and screaming. In the meantime, goblins grab a glittering dagger in their hands and rush towards me. We have to run. We have to run, but where are we going? Where do I run from?

"Goltmund!

Mr. Rosé's sharp voice flew in.

"What!? Hey, hey..."

Then it was right after that. I moved my big body and Goltmund stood me up to cover me. And with the splendid horn that grew out of its head, he threw it loose, trying to soften up Goblin's body.

"Gwow, wow, wow!"

The usually quiet growl of Goltmund shivers the air. The goblins were intimidated and stopped their legs, not the ratio of their loud or spooky fairies. The thrown goblin fell from his head into the snow and stopped moving as it was after sounding a dull sound.

"Nice one, Gortmund! Rosé, I'm gonna clean this up all at once!

"Copy that. Bless you, Goddess."

Then a few minutes later, the goblins were defeated by the obvious Toslin and Mr. Rosé. The remaining goblins are scattered and run away. I was relieved and clinging to Gortmund's body.

"It's a trick, Gortmund."

Mr. Rose stroked Gortmund's head. Are you glad your husband complimented you, Goltmund is scrubbing his own face against Mr. Rose's face.

"I'll do it. That's our only boy."

Carol also pounded her head across Gortmund's back. I lost my strength from my legs and my buttocks got wet.

"Huh, bi, I'm surprised..."

As I sighed heavily, Goltmund turned his neck and licked my face with a smudge. How ambitious of you to have pure and clear eyes, this child. That's just the highest nine levels of us, and it doesn't seem to scare me at all to the extent of goblins. This is how I get to be with everyone because this kid will follow me all the time, right?

"Haha, thank you, Goltmund"

I can't speak the language, but you think I'm one of them. I'm so happy about this. I kissed Goltmund's cheek in return.

"Well, I did what you wanted. Fairy."

Toslin comes wiping the blood on his long sword. Our gaze was directed toward a fairy who was uniformly hidden in Goltmund's hair.

"Beh, I didn't say anything to Omae, etc. Don't get me wrong."

The fairy, who came out of her hair after deciding that the danger was gone, floated into space with a feather grown on her back to show it. We looked again at the wickedness of the fairy's mouth and looked at each other.

"But, well, even though I didn't ask for it, it's true that your actions ended up rolling in my preferred direction, and I'm not thanking you."

"Ha, so? You're a fairy in the woods. Why would a guy like that come here? Can I come from the woods?

"Oh? What are you, an elf? I thought it was an oak or something because you're wielding such a big, stupid sword. Then it's too early to talk. Take me to the goddess."

"Say no."

Toslin responded instantly. Behind the narrowed eye lid, I feel my eyes glowing dangerously. There is a goddess, Ilua, north of Auschnell, called the Castle of Silence. Even the wind is bound there for the goddess who prefers silence. It is a sanctuary where only the chosen one can enter and exit.

"Ah? Why? Yikes! Elves aren't on our side."

"Yeah, but you're annoying. If you want to go, go alone. We have a job to do."

That's what Toslin said, turning his back on the fairy. Nature-loving elves are said to be close to fairies who live in unity with the same nature.

"No, no. Toslin looks like this and has a lot of pride, so if you say it's an orc, even if it's true, you're angry."

When Carol said that with a laugh, a snowball flew towards Carol. Really, I wish I'd shut up.

"So why were you being chased by the goblins?

When Mr. Rosé snapped, the fairy frowned.

"I know that. I happened to be away from the inside on business and I had to go back and this is it. My people are gone, I can chase them, and they're scattered."

"The goblins are inside? But there must be no outside access to you, including us humans."

"Oh, if it's true, it is. There can't be magic in us and goblins or something. But I've been trying to solve that magic."

"Solved? Who the hell... for what purpose"

The fairy's eyes are directed toward Toslin.

"Dark Elf, a living ghost who remains bound to the past after a thousand years"

"Oh, I thought you might be on your way. Damn, that's a good annoyance."

Dark Elf....... one of the species that put a blade on the goddess Ilua in the battle 1000 years ago. Mr. Rose, who swears allegiance to the Goddess. He says he is taking a stand true opposite to the Church and is planning the resurrection of the Dragon King Auschnell of Original Plains.

"Any disturbance of order must be punished with appropriate penalties. Which is it now?

Knowing that there is a presence nearby that should also be described as pagan, Mr. Rosé's eyes, which usually make him smile, become more rugged.

"Hey Rose. Not if it's up to them now..."

"No, Toslin. It's if it's okay. If you do evil here now, they will eventually work evil again. Fairy. Can you show us to that place?"

"Ha? You've got to be kidding me. Why would I..."

The fairy answered. But Mr. Rosé shakes his head.

"Please. I need your help. You must be the one who swore an oath to the goddess Ilua, too. If so, you should be well aware of the iniquity of leaving evil as it is."

In Mr. Rosé's serious eyes, the fairy roars uncomfortably.

"Ahhh! He's a priest because it's already here! Good, it's as close as the inside! If I show you that far, I'll run away!

Mr. Rosé smiled at the fairy who said so while rocking his pretentious skirt.

"Oh, no more... don't decide on your own, right? I even have a job..."

As Toslin moaned toward the sky, Carol, who remained silent until then behind her, opened her mouth.

"You don't have to worry, it just seems like it's going to be."

To Carol's words, Toslin hissed his eyebrow root.

"Huh? What do you mean,"

"Have you all forgotten something? I thought you said you had a lot of little footsteps."

"Ah... speaking of..."

I recall Carol's words a while ago. Yes. Carol did say. Lots of little footsteps and......

"... big... footsteps, one"

To my whining, Toslin and Mr. Rosé face to face. Carol did not let her eyes go out of the woods where the goblins came from, and the fairy hid her body again in Goltmund's hair.

"Kee, I hear you... I hear you too. Yo!

Dosun...... Dosun...... and I hear heavy footsteps from the woods. The trees trembled, and the snow piled on the branches fell down with dsadotha. And it shows up. From the shadow of the tree, he gave a big peek at his body.

"Hey, what's that... golem? Hey, why is this guy here?

Monsters with bodies several times bigger than goblins. My arms are as thick as a round, and my height is three times as good as mine. White as if his whole body was covered with snow, no... actually covered, or made of snow, this golem.

"And it's a snow golem, isn't it?!? I'd like to think you're not ice cream on a boulder..."

"You're kidding... You're telling me to fight this guy?

Generally speaking, a golem refers to something that lived a tentative first life in an inorganic object. The level is said to exceed at least 10, and the snow golem is higher than that 12. More than 15 ice golems with snow turned into ice after time from birth recall what was described in chapter 3 of the Lano Route Adventure Tan.

So when they become famous golems like they also appear in the story, they won't go to deal with goblins. Then I'm talking about what to do, but it seems like there's no other option but engagement just because the place is a street.

"I have no choice. I'll keep the enemy's attention, so Toslin and Carol should look at the gap and turn back."

"I can't! We're gonna have to run. Yo! Carol, Iris, you guys go ahead with Gortmund!

"Ugh, yeah. Okay, I get it."

I'm sorry, but when this happens to me, all I can do is snort.

"Huh? What are you talking about? Fight, you guys! Still a warrior!

The fairy just snaps out of her face and waves her fist up.

"Uh-oh! You keep your mouth shut. Rose is stuck with me, but I'm sorry for the loss."

"No, if you think about it carefully, it's the right decision. We can't sacrifice Mr. Iris for a mission."

Even while we do that, the golem approaches with a sound of ground. They recognized us over there, too, waving their arms up as the instrument rose like a broken ambition. I pull Gortmund's reins that I don't want to leave your husband, Mr. Rose, and desperately try to turn back the way I came. Next to it, only Carol looked sober and stared at the fairy.

"Atashi thought, come on, aren't they after the Atashi because this guy's here?

"To? Oh, hey? Hey, stop... let go, hey... hey, let go!

Carol grabbed the fairy's body. He's a fairy desperately grabbed by Goltmund's hair, but no matter how much Carol is powerless, he can't even compare to the power of a fairy.

What the hell are you doing?

"So? I thought I'd give this guy back."

When Carol said so flatly, we were all taken lightly and couldn't say anything.

"Become, stupid! What would happen to me if I did that! I'm gonna punch you, you werewolf! Whoa, whoa, seriously cool! Make him stop! Hey, get that oak out of the way! Don't look at me. Stop this woman. Yo!

"All right, do it. Good. I'll allow it."

Blue muscles floated on Toslin's beautiful temples, and he did a trick to scratch his neck.

"How dare you. Yi-chi... no..."

"You're lying! You people are still goddess people!

"Wow!

Shortly after I stopped, the fairy flew away with Carol's full throw.

"Ahhhhhhhhh!"

The fairy thrown in the direction of the unholy falls drawing a parabola.

"Well, they've gotten us this far, and it's okay, we can get away with it again"

While Carol slapped her hands on the bread and said that satisfactorily, the golem really changed course towards the fairy.

"Nice work, Carol! I'll only give you a compliment now. Erai Erai."

Toslin is happy to pound Carol's head, but when I say it, me and Mr. Rose, I honestly can't be happy that I feel like I've done something really bad.

"Well, really..."

"Sa, come on... what do you think..."

Our gaze is directed at Golem's back as he runs west off the street. In front of it, I guess the little, invisible but fairy is flying away in desperate shape.

"I thought, he... he can fly, so why don't we just run into the sky?

Toslin muttered potpourrily.

"Ahhh..."

We looked at each other and nodded.
