"What, hey... what the hell is this!

"Wow! Sorry, I won't do it anymore! I won't steal again, so help me!

Toslin and Carroll seemed to have decently seen the intense light emanating from the fragments of the statue, causing a cackle and a tall scream.

"No kidding. No! He said if he got burned to death about stealing some money, it wouldn't have happened!

"What are you talking about! I should honestly apologize here...... yahhh! I can't see the front. Toslin, where are you! Wow, I'm scared!

Two people shouting in a bustle, but after a while the light also turned into something calm. I glance indoors with my eyes lid open.

"What, subsided... of?

Toslin, with a flashing expression, turns his gaze towards me with Carol in his arms.

"Er... Ha, I guess..."

"Are you okay now? Atashi, are you alive? Tail, is it on?

Carol wearing half a beard in Toslin's chest. Is there such a thing as hindsight, my ears, which usually stand pinned, are henna dripping, frightened enough to see at a glance that they are.

"It's okay. He's alive and well followed."

When I said that to reassure Carol, I turned my gaze to the fragments that still shed a slight light.

"Oh, that...... The... fragments of the statue..."

I couldn't believe what was happening in front of me, and I only had such a cut out voice. There was Mr. Rosé, and he was kneeling. He opens his eyes wide and his hands are raised with respect.

"Or it's going to change... Hey, hey, Toslin... that..."

"Wow, I know... look, I know..."

What was a fragment of the statue delivered to Mr. Rosé's palm remains wrapped in golden light and reshapes. Slowly, but surely, something is happening in front of me that I can call a miracle.

"Lord's will, I do accept"

The change came to an abrupt end when Mr. Rosé said so and drowned his head deeply. The glass workmanship sounded like it would break, and the light was lost. What was left in Mr. Rosé's palm was one book with a majestic silver workmanship.

……

I said, no... we still couldn't believe the miracle we saw and stood up flashly. Only Mr. Rosé had a strange look on his face.

"This is where the fairies live."

Mr. Rosé was so grunted by the potpourri.

"The goddess Ilua said... no, that's exactly what this statue saw."

Stand up slowly and stroke the book given to you looking important.

"Perhaps that fairy used this place as a residence, too. And then Dark Elves came here, and the fairies were hunted down."

Mr. Rosé looked back at me and said so with a gentle smile.

"Yes, what the hell... for..."

Mr. Rosé doesn't answer me when I do, but he just gives me the book in silence. I don't know what that means, and sometimes it's kind of scary and I retreat.

"One is a fragment of what is said to be a mourning bead sealing Auschnell. And the other is this."

"What's that? I'm not sure about books, but can they be a little awesome treasure?

Peek into the book Mr. Rose has in his hands looking excited.

"Wow. I don't know, but that sounds like an old book. Wouldn't you be rich if you sold this?

Mr. Rose quietly denies Shaggy Carol's words as he waves his tail.

"No, this is a magical guide that goes around from the goddess Ilua. For example, converting money."

With that said, Mr. Rosé took my hand and made me shake the book. I don't know why, I look up to Mr. Rosé.

"Oh, um... eh...?

"It doesn't make sense, though, that you can't use it even if I have it. Besides, it was you who responded to the call of the goddess, Mr. Iries. I couldn't feel anything. I'm sure the goddess wanted to entrust this to you."

Leather cover book that makes you feel old. An old book colored with intricate silver decorations that I've never seen before in a bookstore. When I glanced through the cover with my fingers softly, the letters came to mind.

"This is the Book of Magic. And this, it says Hadion!?

When I was surprised, Mr. Rosé nodded cocklessly, too.

"Inside this fairy, we've been protecting it for 1,000 years, taking the life of a goddess. Even if you could unravel the magic inside, you couldn't even unravel the goddess' seal."

Hadion. A knight who swore allegiance to Auschnell, a man but also a demon king, and gained superordinary power, torn by the goddess Ilua in battle a thousand years ago, he said, and has been closed in darkness ever since. It's a name that appears every now and then in some of the books I've read. This book is called such a legend. It's about recalling and serving Hadion. I can't even handle the initial magic. It's a good place to rot the treasure even if I have it.

"I have such a noble thing! Well, I can't really use magic."

Desperately trying to return the book, Mr. Rosé smiles that gleefully and bounces back my objections.

"Even so, the only one of us with magic is Mr. Iris."

"That's what's gonna happen. I just can't sell it. I don't know, but it's precious, isn't it? Be careful not to lose it."

Even Toslin slaps me on the shoulder and laughs.

"Well... well."

"Fine. The goddess will give it to me, so take it. I agree with Atashi."

Carol laughs happily as she looks at me in a hurry. But those eyes quickly turned to something serious.

"But when you say Auschnell, didn't you get knocked down by a brave man in a battle a thousand years ago? Sealed, with Doyuko?

When Carol snapped, Mr. Rosé nodded with a strange face.

"Generally speaking, they're supposed to have been knocked down. But the truth is Auschnell is still alive."

"To?"

"What do you mean?

The end of the Illuan battle, as I know it, is that Auschnell is defeated by Lanolut, the brave man with the sword of light.

"The end of the Illuan battle, in fact, is not complete. Though the brave men weakened Auschnell, they could not defeat him. So the goddess had her own jewel called the Mourning Pearl, and challenged her to the king of the Original Plains."

We are listening to Mr. Rosé's words with indignation.

"But the power of the two is antagonistic, and as a result, the goddess could only seal Auschnell's body in the narrow confines of that world, though the dark world...... we call the boundary trench Entura. I hear that the spirit of the raging madness itself is still sealed deep beneath the castle of silence of the goddess."

"Seriously......"

Toslin couldn't keep up with the scale of the story and sighed her hair up. Me, of course, I'm not surprised and I don't have a voice.

"Yes, and then the goddess was shattering the only bead of mourning that would lead to Entura so that the resurrection could never take place again, letting the fairies from all over the world protect her. This must be one of them."

"Which means the same thing could be happening here."

To Carol's words, Mr. Rose nodded.

"Yes, it would be reasonable to think so. by the hand of a dark elf trying to revive Auschnell, king of the Original Plains."

"So, but, you know, can I just say that to you guys? Of course I think that's a shadow on goddess faith."

"... through this statue, the goddess should have known that the dark elf had a shard of mourning jewels in her hands. If so, the Church should already have taken action to receive the deposition and stop the resurrection. Neither do I, as a cleric, try to keep this quiet."

Mr. Rosé continues as he reassembles the shattered statue. I helped with that, too. When I saw him at that time, Mr. Rosé laughed just a little, as I recall.

"As soon as I have a piece of this matter, I will turn to the church for instructions. Then the Church should not crusade me with dark elves and impose investigative duties on me. But that's not out of my control."

"Haha, you mean you're already in the head count then"

When Carol laughed and said so, Mr. Rose nodded.

"Yes. It's the same thing to talk about then or now. Was it annoying?"

"No way. I hear the church pays well, and I'd rather have it from here."

I was just watching it as Toslin laughed brightly and Carol hammered cheerfully. I'm not in that headcount. Even if I was always in there, I could only be luggage if I didn't have the power to fight. "Leave it to me," "I want to be with you," it's not even a joke.

"Hey, are you okay, Iris? Come back!"

"Wow, what? Sorry, just thinking."

When I thought of that, I was surprised that Toslin's face was close.

"Are you tired? Whatever. You can rest here a little."

"So, it's okay! I'm perfectly fine!

I don't like to be worried. What makes you think you have no choice is that it's sweet.

"Really? Please don't push me."

Mr. Rosé says so gently, but don't ever be sweet on that word. Even at this moment alone, I am saving a man's life.

"Shall we continue our exploration? I'll tell you because I have to forget, Atashi and I haven't found that guy yet... eh"

"It's Mr. Quinn. Come on. Remember that."

Yes, because we have not yet achieved our purpose here.

"But that's crazy. Though there doesn't seem to be a room anymore. Are you sure Mr. Quinn is here?"

Mr. Rose tilts his neck and thinks.

"No, I'm sure of that. 'Cause I've been following in my footsteps properly."

Carol confidently says so and shows it.

"Then where are you? That was the main road, wasn't it? Where else is there to hide?

"I don't care what they say... Atashi's not wrong"

Toslin turned a suspicious eye and Carol swelled her cheeks all the time saying she was out of heart. Carol gets out of focus and scattered as soon as she gets hungry, but she doesn't get out of hand where it really matters. So I have no doubt that the Lord of those bloodstains will indeed be in this cave.

"Is it possible we've already moved somewhere else?

"I don't. Anyone who is injured has entered this cave and is not out. Absolutely. If I'm wrong, I'll listen to what Iris has to say."

"What am I saying?

"No toslin. 'Cause I don't care if they tell me to marry you."

"Yes, say it, silly! I knew you weren't sure."

"That's rude. Yes, I do. I have confidence."

Carol missed her gaze from Hui and Toslin.

"Look me in the eye and say it"

"No, no, I can't. If I saw Toslin's face right now, I'd be laughing and not in conversation."

"Mm-hmm."

Toslin holds Carol's body aside and pokes her head small with her fist bones.

"Ha-ha-ha! Oh, hey... it hurts! Ailees, help me!

In the cave, Carol's screams echo. Mr. Rosé comes to the statue of the goddess hoping that Mr. Quinn is safe.

"Well, that's it. There's a hidden door somewhere."

He looked up, and for a moment Toslin, who stopped poking Carol in the face, said so.

"I don't know about that either. Atashi, I was looking into it, but there was no place like it..."

Carol is neat as she is held aside.

"Hidden doors? Oh, yeah."

So I recall. Before I got here, I felt on the main road in the cave, about that discomfort.

"What is it, Mr. Iris?

It made sense that I felt uncomfortable with the statue of the goddess in this place. Then there must be something in that place, too.

"Rosé, I need you to check something out."
