Section 5: Emergence of Thoughts

When Toslin finished reporting her return to her sister at the reception, we sat down just to surround the empty table. And when the hot soup was placed on the table, Carol jumped right at it.

"Mm-hmm!! Warm! Yum! I'll be back!!"

When he puts the soup down, Carol immediately reaches for the bread. Apparently that was freshly baked, and when I broke it in half, it also gave me a hot air from there, with a sweet aroma of butter.

"Ugh, it looks delicious..."

"Then you want Iris too?"

Carol tries to share her own bread by saying so, but politely declines. Because me and Saluena already have breakfast. Because it smells good. If I still eat here, I won't be able to get lunch in.

"Oh, this meat doesn't either. By the way, Iris, I'm gonna lose that one."

"Thanks for that. Your mother would love to hear it."

What Carol is eating right now is a barbato herb grill. The brilliant female bird pavilion at the front had a menu with the same name, but instead of baking meat as it is, this one seems to be mixed with vanilla and hamburgered and baked in a mince. Cut with a knife, the gravy overflows from it, and this builds my appetite. Besides, is there anything in there, not just vanilla?

"Wow, there's a whole sausage in this, huh? Wow, tense up."

"What a luxurious dish you just said you've mixed whatever you like for now. I don't hate that retard."

"This... feels a little heavy to me..."

Contrary to Carol, who is happy, Rosé feels the same thing coming out of her hamburger and her face is drawn. But maybe I can't help it. 'Cause this is an overwhelmingly high ratio of men on the menu.

"Then I'm glad Atashi ate the sausage for you!?"

"Excuse me, Mr. Carroll, could you please"

Breakfast time went by like that, and when I put my mouth on my second cup of tea, 'So I'm talking about the ruins...' and mostly Toslin started talking about work.

"Well, then there really wasn't a ghost or anything"

By the way, according to what I heard while exchanging supplements from Carol and Mr. Rose, there was no undead among the monsters I came across after leaving the city and entering the mountains.

He said he had only tried to get a little inside the ruins, but Mr. Rose said he couldn't confirm the existence of the unclean.

"Well, the ruins are in there and we've only been able to investigate about 10% of the whole thing, so maybe there's one over there."

Carol, whose stomach was full, snapped so as she narrowed her eyes satisfactorily.

"If someone hadn't gone the wrong way, I wouldn't even know if I was going any further."

"You were wrong, weren't you?"

Both directional tone-deaf. But this time the place is just a pit, I might not be able to help but get lost. I'm showing you the map that they lent me from the church right now, but it's as complicated as an ant's nest. And this map, it's old and hard to see. By the way, there are scattered areas where the paper doesn't know if it is tanned, stained or marked.

"He said there was a monster, what exactly was there?"

Saluena opened her mouth as I glanced at the map. Next door is Mr. Rosé, pouring tea into an empty Saluena cup. How worthwhile.

"It's Ent, Sister Sally. That was about a dozen of them. Me and Mr. Toslin took it all down."

"I was just watching you."

"What a dagger. You can't burn it because it's a fire."

Ent is simply a monster in the shape of a moving tree. He thinks it's just a tree, caught off guard and approached prey, waving branches and attacking.

I'm talking about how trees move, but a tree with an annual wheel can hold so much strength. Bad spirits ride on that vessel and it is said that what has gained supernatural power is Ent.

"Hey, Iris. Is it unusual to have an entrance around here?"

"Ugh, as you can see, there are a lot of mountains, so there are quite a few examples of sightings. But I've probably never heard of a dozen at a time."

There are many conifers around this Sorletta Ritta, and the woodcutters cut trees into the mountains as they do every day of the year, processing them into lumber.

There are no cases where I said Ent would attack me at that time. But according to my memory, it shouldn't be that often. If you're in such a danger zone that you encounter more than a dozen of them overnight, you were never asked to use them to get to the front desk in the first place.

"I see. I was surprised when I reported it to the Alliance."

Which surprised me. Is it to the fact that there were so many entries, or is it to the fact that there were only three of them, and that they defeated them overnight?

"I bet Ent doesn't groan, huh?"

"Yeah, it is, isn't it? The sound of tree leaves rubbing against each other and the sound of branches squirming sounded like groaning... that's a little impossible."

"So the spirits in the Ent groaned or something?"

"Do spirits groan?"

"Come on, I don't know"

"All right, you shut up already"

Toslin stabbed the rest of the sausage in the fork and stuck it in Carol's mouth.

"Paku, Mogmog...... Oops!"

"Depending on the power of the Spirit himself, we know that some spirits exist that can communicate their will by conversation"

"Really?"

"Oh, I don't know what to think or do. Sometimes powerful things have their own self. Such individuals often tend to follow and serve less spiritual spirits"

"I mean, there are strong spirits around here, following weak spirits and making them ramble?"

"I'm talking about that possibility. But if that's all Ent's got, and that's a rare circumstance, then there's a good chance of that."

Toslin comes to mind when he sees Saluena guess so.

"Let's just think about it on that line."

"Nha, Atashi, it's time to get sleepy..."

Carol yawns with her mouth wide open, her eyes are already trolling.

"Right. I haven't slept with care all night..."

Rosé, who was looking after Saluena, was also caught by Carol or put her hand on her mouth and made a small stretch.

"Oh, I'm sorry to say it's in front of your sister..."

"I don't mind. That's all it was, but it's natural."

Saluena grabbed Mr. Rosé's soft hair in a loving manner and combed it so that she could stroke it.

"Sister Sally...... Oh, you shouldn't. In this place, do not touch your hair..."

Really. Where do you think you are at all?

"Yes, yes, we'll have to flirt later."

When I slammed the table with the bang, Mr. Rosé turned to me as a vic.

"Ah, Mr. Iris? I didn't... I didn't mean to."

"Oh, the Iries are apparently jealous. Against which, I guess? Hey, Rosa."

Oh? I'm so upset right now. I said I was just being normal. I thought I'd rose on this occasion now that I was seriously praying for a stuffed animal... but I'm pathetic for a boulder, so I stopped.

"Oh, sister. Mr. Iris will be angry, so play around here..."

"Hmm, if Rosa says so, I'll keep it that way."

On second thought, Saluena also became a sister relationship because of Mr. Rosé, but she may not be able to be with me and miss me. If you think so, 'Ilah' until just now turns into the opposite emotion.

"After Mr. Rosé's work, you should go somewhere with him, Saluena. Sometimes you need to breathe, don't you?

"... what do you suddenly say, Lord"

"Oh, yeah. Because we have a mission to protect Mr. Iris…"

"Isn't that good? In the meantime, Atashi and the others are with the Iries."

"Regardless of the shape-only relationship, sisters should know a lot about each other. Otherwise, you might get in trouble."

As a result of weighing on the basis of which seemed more enjoyable, Toslin and Carroll took sides with me, and that happened with a majority vote. Looks like I've been able to repay the two people I've always looked after, especially Saluena, and I'm really glad to hear that.

"Well, that's what I'm talking about. So I'm sorry, Iris. Can you do me a favor?"

"What?"

Toslin held up Carol, who was already sleeping with Gooska.

"We're going back to the inn and going to bed, and we're going to investigate again at night, so I want you to tell Alonda about it, including what you just told me."

"Yeah, that's how cheap it is."

"Thanks, then I asked for it"

Toslin raises his hand and leaves the table. Carol is on her shoulders and doesn't even look like a crowd.

"Um... Mr. Iries? Are you serious?"

After Mr. Rosé greeted Saluena, he came to me and asked me that in a small voice.

"Of course it is. There's also a theater in this city for tourists, so you two should enjoy it."

And spoil him an unexpectedly lonely saluena. I can't speak the words that squealed in my heart right now, so I just kept putting them on my face.

"Oh yeah...... I get it. Thank you for your attention."

I don't know if it's conveyed correctly, but I'm sure it's about Mr. Rosé, so if you two spend a lot of time together, you'll understand and heal the inside of Saluena.

……

Hmm?... but what is it?

I did good.

Until just now, uh-huh. That's what you're supposed to think right now, but when you look at Rose's smile like she's haunted...

"Now, if you'll excuse me. See you tomorrow, at this hour."

"Yes, at this hour"

Just a little bit, the area around my chest became cuddly.
