"It was good training. Is that phantom magic, the original magic?

"Exactly. At first, it was just a stone or something, but from where I found my enemies, I fought... and I thought I should use magic like that, so I made it. How was it?

"Oh. It was good magic.... What makes phantom travel slower than a real demon tribe?

"There's... our lack of skill. I'd like to be as fast as a real demon clan, but it's hard..."

That's what Maylard tells me. He shows me a piece of metal with a grant magic.

The magic formation showed signs of trial and error to increase speed.

Sure, the magic of traveling long distances at high speeds, and complicated, is hard.

That's what makes Bowman's "Wired Induction Enchant" and other areas.

The Demons are not as fast as arrows, so I don't need as much control power as' Wired Induction Enchant '... but when it comes to remotely activating with grant magic, the procedure becomes so complicated.

It's not something you can't make out of the contents of a second school textbook, but you'll need to get used to building it.

With that in mind, Lurii took out the paper and the pen and began to draw the magic formation.

"Uh... how about turning this place into something like this? I think if you're as fast as the Demons usually fly, you'll get out!

That being said, what Lurii offered was an improved version of the magic formation granted to the metal mass.

The part of the procedure on movement has been reassembled to greatly increase the speed.

Sure, this would give us as much speed as the Demons normally fly.

"That's a good maneuver.... like this, we can speed things up."

"Ah, there was a fast moving ceremony in no time... the granting magician told me that Mr. Lurii was amazing... it's really amazing..."

"It's Matty who's amazing! I teach the magic team directly from Matty!

That's what I said, and Lurii strained his chest.

... Just because I taught you, the magic team isn't sweet enough to be able to write the art ceremony so far right away.

Lurii, as long as he has time, is thinking about how to form a magic formation or experimenting with it.

It will be thanks to that effort that the power of magic formation building has been acquired.

It's just... this magic formation, it could be hard to use if it stays that way.

"How many seconds do I have to have this magic formation?

"Eh... the activation time is up to 40 seconds or so, so as long as you have 40 seconds, you'll be fine!

"After all, do you need that much"

Training doesn't necessarily have to go as far as defeating the Demons.

The pattern of combat that I wrote in my textbook goes so far as to restrain the demons flying in the sky and create a situation where they can launch unilateral attacks.

But still, you'll need about forty seconds.

Lurii's combined magic formations consume a lot of magic instead of speed.

Granted magic, it's something I can't help trying to get a decent speed... but that technique would require a pretty large demon stone to be able to do it for forty seconds.

No matter how much more power you get and how many demon stones you can get from the labyrinth... it should be hard to secure valuable large demon stones for training purposes.

The demonic stones that are stuck in metal chunks for phantom magic are also quite large...... even this size would only last about ten seconds.

"Ah... sure, 40 seconds doesn't seem like enough magic!... Bigger demon stones are hard, aren't they?

"Yes, if you're a demon stone of your current size, you can source it quite a bit in the school labyrinth... because when it gets bigger than this, it's a strategic supply..."

"So here's the thing...... more magic sources!

With that said, Lurii added the magic formation.

In addition to the main magic stone, the magic team adds three magic stones dedicated to the magic source.

This will maintain 40 seconds of operation without changing the quality of the Demon Stone.

"... this, it moves, right?

After the magic team, Lurii asks me that.

I think a normal magic team would be confident enough to assemble... but I don't really use more than two magic groups that use magic stones in action.

I guess Lurii isn't too used to it either.

"I think it works fine. That's a good maneuver."

Lurii's formula is not so magically efficient.

Changing the composition of the surgical formula would reduce the magic consumption a little more.

However, in exchange for efficiency, this technique is very easy to combine.

Making this more efficient complicates the composition of the magic formation.

With the power of second grad students, they would be able to make only one in two things that would work normally at best.

That would be fine with a real life magic team, but if it's a disposable magic team for practice, it's better to make it more stable than poke at magic efficiency.

I don't know if you thought about it that much and put it together.

"Yay! Matty praised me!... I think it's going to be a little more efficient and less demon stone..."

"If it's about four Demon Stones, we can easily procure them! Thank you!

That's what Maylard writes the magic team.

Confirming that...... the meeting time is approaching.

"In the meantime, here's your advice. It's time to meet up, so I'm coming."

"Thank you!...... I will practice all night to fix it as soon as possible with my current magic formation and 'Space Magic Degradation'!

Maylard salutes me and Lurii.

"Don't stay up all night because it's not efficient. Occasionally we do it as a long-term training, but the opposite is inefficient when it comes to acquiring technology"

"Okay!

After that conversation, we headed to the conference room to check the rest of the materials.

The way the Second Student Troop fought I saw in practice feels different from the Army in a good way.

Ordinary armies keep together by letting them possess a one-size-fits-all weapon and adopt unified tactics.

But these second-school students are united while each uses separate tactics.

This is exactly the way I wrote it in my textbook.

But it's hard to move to execution.

The Maillards have grown at more than double the pace expected.

If we train at this rate, we will surely be strong.
