It clicked in their minds that the guest was a foreigner. Perhaps, the first foreigner apart from the other mistress who rarely stays at the residence because of her job. This foreign guest finally made her appearance and the moment she stood on her feet; they were all rendered speechless.
How could a person be so beautiful?
Meanwhile, Lim Ji-soo, looked at this famous black girl whom she was forced to work with in order to save her son and couldn’t help but swallow unconsciously admiring and praising her in her mind.
She was truly a beauty and doesn’t look her age at all. As for that silver hair, it looked so real, but how could a person have such real hair? She must have dyed it. That was her conclusion as she approached the other.
On Diamond’s side, after alighting from the car, she started walking towards Lim Ji-soo, to meet her half way with a smile on her face while observing the woman at a closer range.
Lim Ji-soo had her youngest when she was in her mid-forties, and yet she doesn’t look like someone approaching seventy years old at all. She looks like an elder who really knows how to take great care of herself. Not only that, but there was sternness that she was picking up from the other. That couldn’t be hidden, after all, to become a matriarch in this world where man eat man, one would need to be strong willed and capable.
A smile formed on her lips as she felt reverence towards the other. The moment the smile blossomed on her face, Lim Ji-soo, who rarely saw young ladies smiling freely like that in her presence except for her daughters or granddaughters felt mixed emotions but the most surging was a fleeting one – joy.
"Madam Lim, we finally meet!" without wasting any time, Diamond familiarly called, closing whatever gap was between them.
Since she liked the other, there was no reason to size each other and waste time. Besides, she was feeling hungry, and if they take long to familiarize themselves, won’t this lady die of starvation?
Lim Ji-soo found herself chuckling, completely taken aback by Diamond. She wasn’t expecting to hear such enthusiasm as if they had met before. She was truly a social butterfly.
"Ms. Diamond, it’s a pleasure to finally have you here. I hope that I didn’t inconvenience you with all this," with a smile on her face, she warmly welcomed while her tone carried a humility.
Diamond chuckled as she stopped a few steps away from Madam Lim and cheerfully responded, "I am young enough to become your daughter. Just call me Diamond and I will call you, Aunty. How about that?" and didn’t forget to push for their relationship to become even closer.
After all, she was someone with an agenda. If it goes successfully, and her son doesn’t mind, she would have to call Madam Lim, mother-in-law. Won’t it be better to get closer soon and be used to it?
Not knowing Diamond’s schemes, Lim Ji-soo, simply felt that Diamond wasn’t hard to get along with. She didn’t see, sense of felt insincerity from her but sincerity. She meant every single word and that made her to like Diamond more.
In fact, it made her feel much more at ease. This way, she can talk comfortably about her son when the time comes.
"Sure. I don’t have a problem with that, as long as you don’t mind, Diamond."
Seeing her participating without any fuss, considering how at times the Gesalsi people were fans for rules, she flashed a beautiful grin at Madam Lim and happily said, "I don’t mind at all, Aunty. For the first time in months, she felt liberated and even forgot about the stress of having her youngest son fall in that state.
Seeing the lady laughing, Diamond felt happy as well. It was great seeing her loosening up. Being a mother must not be an easy thing. She must have been worried all these months, having money and yet unable to help her son.
Madam Lim reminded her of Zara’s family. It wasn’t easy.
Watching their madam laughing like that after meeting Diamond for just a short time, secretary Ji-an’s eyes welled with tears but she quickly looked aside as if that would help, while the butler looked at Diamond with grateful eyes, as well as looking at her seriously.

After laughing, Lim Ji-soo felt considerably better and light. She felt grateful towards Diamond but didn’t say that out loud.
