Chapter 1118 - 1114: WHAT A CUNNING YOUNG MAN!

"Pftt~ you are truly cunning, aren’t you?" Diamond let out a chuckle as she looked at the young man that had shed all pretenses and looking like a devilish rogue just by her side.
Who would have matched this version with the one that she saw a while ago?
To think that the mute could finally speak and as if buttons had been pressed, he turned roguish. Did his family know this side of him?
Young-Jae smiled as he looked at her with sparkling eyes. He narrowed his eyes slightly as he scratched his nose lightly with his pale forefinger and responded, "if I don’t act that way, how can I attract you, my dear lady? Don’t tell me that you were planning on having a hit and run?" corking his brows as he expressed shock while looking at her.
Diamond choked as he looked at him, shocked and stunned.
"You ..... how could you be so ...?" she couldn’t finish her sentence at all as she felt exasperated.
Hit and run!
When did she even committed such a crime?
Wasn’t he being too shameless?
Seeing her reaction, Young-Jae broke into a hearty laughter, the smile on his face widening.
After laughing for a while, he smilingly looked at her and explained himself.
"My dear lady, I remember everything that you said when I was in a coma. You told me to treat you on a date when I am awake. I am now awake and you no longer want to go one with me anymore?"
When Diamond heard that, she snorted as she folded her arms across her chest and harrumphed.
"Humph! Even if that’s the case, I have never seen anyone acting like a rogue for a date. Aren’t you supposed to ask me nicely for one? Besides, by going to a date with me, are you trying to say that you want to become my darling?" her tone turned teasing at the end, as she looked at Young-Jae with a cunning smile.
Young-Jae didn’t seem fazed at all by her teasing but instead, smiled back at her as he slyly made an attack on her.
Because she didn’t sense any hostility, Diamond didn’t defend herself. As a result, she found her hand being held by his and the feeling was simply amazing. She wanted that hand to explore further and not just the hand.
Young-Jae was once again holding that hand he didn’t want to let go off a few hours later. He gently held it for a while before raising his head to look at her.
She wasn’t flinching at all, but looking at him with a smile that seemed to say, ’continue, I want to see what you are up to!’
"What if I want to become your darling? Is that allowed my dear lady?" with his lips curled upwards, he teasingly asked, though his eyes carried firmness of what he was currently feeling.
It might seem odd but from the very moment he heard her voice and she pulled him out of that darkness, he felt like she was the one for him. When he watched her on that broadcast the night he woke up, he knew what he wanted.
He still recalled how he even shamelessly convinced himself that he was willing to become a mistress if that was the only way to get her. After all, the whole world knows that she was taken, and he was even holding the hand which has the evidence to prove that.
Diamond let out a chuckle as she looked at him with a mysterious glint flickering through her eyes. She didn’t expect that her first conversation with the man she set her eyes on would be this interesting.
Being used to the guys she liked taking their time to realize their feelings and with her accompanying them slowly until they were ready, Young-Jae’s approach was truly different and one of a kind. It was shocking, and yet fluttering.
It left her dumbfounded for a moment, before regaining her senses.
"Are you by any chance flirting with me, darling?" she couldn’t help but throw a teasing remark at him, not wanting to get deep into the matter.
She might want the man badly, but gaining him in a day would make her feel uncomfortable. It was just like when she confirmed Waylon’s feelings for her. Although the two of them became intimate without going all the way through, she still gave him a period of observation before she could accept. Until now, she hasn’t accepted him since Zara’s matters came unexpectedly and shook her plans.
Even if she was interested in Young-Jae, she still didn’t know him enough. There was no way she would offer her heart to him just yet. But flirting, that she can do. If she were to date him, if he was interested in her. After all, a relationship is two-ways. Just because she likes someone doesn’t mean that the relationship is automatic.
Even if there are feeling from both sides, like what she once saw with Dean, but when the feelings are deeper on the other side, then there would be nothing.
She lost to a girl she never met. She could tell that Dean felt something for her and for a moment she even thought that they were going to have something but Dean’s will was so strong. In the end, she erased such feelings and never talked about it again.
Right now, she could tell that Young-Jae has feelings for her. She wasn’t sure if he was being influenced by what she did, saving him or he was being genuine.
When it comes to dating people, she didn’t want flings at all. So, if she was going to give over her heart, then she must be certain and for that to happen, she needed to spend some time getting to know him better while suppressing the urge to flip him over and have her way with him like she was feeling right now.
