Skeleton Knight, in Another World

My first city, Rubierte 2.

After breaking up with Master Ark near the East Gate, my steered carriage is all the way to the Lords' Mansion in the center of the city. The sun is falling earlier, and people are largely neglecting to cross the city.

At the end of my sight, I finally see the gate of your mansion. A stone wall rounded about four metres, and in the center was a large wooden gate reinforced with iron, before which three guard soldiers stood.

Look at the carriage crest. The guard soldiers are directing us to open the door. As the gate opens, the carriage slips into the garden in front of the stone mansion.

I can see the guard soldiers upset. I guess so, too, the lord's carriage came home without an escort. Besides, there's no way you can connect as many as six horses behind you and not feel some kind of anomaly.

The news was running, or when I parked the carriage in front of the mansion, the deacon of this Rubierte family was about to come out.

"Rita Farren. What the hell is this?!

The deacon comes to me with a light gray hair and a white moustache, usually with a soft look on his waist, with a slightly rushed color. The carriage door opens in momentum when I try to answer such a question. Lady Lauren flies out from the inside and rushes into the mansion.

All the servants who came from behind the deacon had the same surprised look.

"We were attacked by thieves. My daughter and I were able to escape at your place, but thirteen or fewer of the guards, Master Maudlin, were defeated by the fierce blade. I would like to inform your husband about this and ask him to take care of it as soon as possible.

The deacon blued his face to my words, and the servants had ceased to be. But the sooner the deacon regained his mind, the sooner he succeeded, the sooner he gave instructions to those around him.

"Rita gives this matter to her husband! My husband is still in his usual office! You guys, check on the lady! I run to inform Master Boscos about this!

That said, the old deacon rushes out to a remote mansion.

Upon entering the mansion, I ascend the central staircase leading to the second floor and take the blow-out crossing of the central hall to the left, standing in front of a splendid door with wood carving decorations, further behind the west hallway. Quietly knocking on the door and answering to whomever of the Lord will be granted permission to enter.

Slipping quietly into that room, a clerk desk is placed behind it, surrounded by bookcases on both sides, and some lamp magic equipment keeps the lighting room bright. Behind it I was in the midst of the Lord of this Mansion sitting down and doing some writing.

The thinned brown hair is well oiled and the stored moustache and round face give a soft look to the surrounding area. But the eye looks firmly at the opponent, and combines aristocratic sharpness. Put the feather pen down and look at this one to my surprise. So is that, because it's not supposed to be my job to announce my return.

"Rita, you're back from Lauren and Dient, what the hell is wrong with you? Is something wrong?

I tell the Lord in front of me the same report that I made to the Deacon earlier.

"What the hell!? What about Lauren?! So Lauren is safe!!?

You don't listen to my report. You jump out of the chair, and you rush over to make sure your daughter's okay with the shapes you just grabbed. That's just how you couldn't stay calm when you heard your daughter was attacked.

There came a magnificent man into the office early enough. She is about one hundred and eighty centimeters tall, thin and thin. The hair with a slight mixture of gray hair is cut short, and the blemishes are long, with deep wrinkles engraved on the forehead. I look past fifty to say I'm only in my forties. Master Boscos, the consul who serves this Rubierte family.

"I heard you speak from the Deacon. He was attacked by a thief or something......, what an undelivered man to attack the carriage of the Viscount's house. Earlier, I came to see how Lawrence was doing, but he's been pulled into his room."

Master Boscos gets so grunted as he deepens the deep wrinkles between his eyebrows and tries to hold them down with his right hand.

"Anyway, let's hear more about the raid"

Lady Bacol asks if she has confirmed Lady Lauren's safety in Boscos' words, regaining a slightly sober look.

"Yes, the first raid was after leaving Corna for a while. In the twenty or so thieves, this was set up with nine lords, and Maudlin took off the scene, but the second time the horse's leg stopped, he was attacked by ten thieves."

"What?! Were there two raids!? But the second raid was fought by about ten thieves with Maudlin and five soldiers? Was it pretty hands-on?"

Master Boscos asks me all kinds of questions about the jewelry of things, looking difficult with his arms around him on the spot. I'll tell you what I can remember, too.

"I didn't know there was someone in the escort to guide me......! Find out who the man called Kasda is, Boscos. If you have relatives, pull them off now!

"Ha, I'm in awe"

After Boscos has thanked Master Bacol for his life, he resigns from the office. Master Bacol leans back deeply into the chair again as he heads to the desk in the office.

"Still, the bandits who own six horses... I've never heard of them around here."

It is out of the question to say horses, it costs money to maintain and manage them. In addition to food and water, we need a lot of money to incorporate as hooves, horse gear, ordination and power. It's pretty tough to maintain as many as six heads in a small band of bandits, and if a large band of bandits has moved in, one rumor or so comes up.

"The thieves seemed to aim to harm Miss Lauren. I thought someone might have hired me..."

"What?... Are you kidding me, Second Prince?!?

Master Bacol distorts that round face with amazement and anger.

Right now, here in the Kingdom of Rhoden, we are talking about an intensification of factional strife over the successors of the next generation to replace the elderly current king.

First prince with a second queen as mother, second prince with a first queen as mother, and a second princess with a righteous queen as mother, these factional feuds are fought far away in the royal palace of the king's capital. Close to the northern border, this seems like a very irrelevant story here in Rubierte, but in me the world of politics is only a story out of the question.

"So, you didn't demand anything from us to say the armored knight who showed up during that second raid, did you?

"Yes, I must thank you for helping the lady... but you will only receive my copper pass and nothing else... How can I help you?

"If they're saying they don't need anything, isn't that good? Rather, it seems that whoever comes closer to us about it now is the only one who has had the breath of the Second Prince. Maudlin, the confinement of the bodies below and the sweep of the remnants of the party run the legend here. You need to step back now."

I'll thank you for the words, then I'll leave the office behind.

I didn't see Master Ark in some faction. I guess that one is really a traveler, as he himself says. The armor that you wear is stunning enough to make you think that the Kingsguard of the Great Leblanc Empire is a martial arts god until it is overwhelming.

At last, I couldn't see that face, but if I had an edge, would I be able to see that person again? The fear I had felt during the day lurked the ringing at some point and with a lighter foothold I turned to the lady's room.

No, not if it's floating. I need the lady to get her smile back as soon as possible.

I headed to the lady's room early to take a peek.
