Skeleton Knight, in Another World

Forest Capital Maple

The next day, Arian was coming to the Great Tree Temple in the center of the inner part, following Dylan, his father and elder of the inner part of Laratoia.

The wind blowing inside is still cold and chilly because the sun has not yet risen.

The scenery, where the mornings blur with a sumptuous hanging over the distant scenery, making the presence of a tree other than the great tree that spreads its branches in front of it, also appears to have a mysterious atmosphere somewhere.

Behind the temple, streams flowing through the center of this inner house divide East and West, and only the spirals of the river and the stirrups of birds that came in search of fish echo around.

There is a simple wooden enclosure around the temple of the great tree, but it does not appear to function as a wall in particular. It's only the height to the waist. It only serves as a border with the temple.

Two warriors stand as watchmen in front of the door, which is the entrance to the temple. When one of the Elf warriors, dressed in solid leather armor and with a sword raised on his waist, found Dylan, the elder, he bowed his head gently and greeted him.

"Dear Elder Dylan, I've been waiting for you. The transfer to Maple is ready."

Dylan thanked the warrior for his words and chatted two or three words with him before turning to the temple. Arian goes into the temple later so that he does not lag behind it.

Behind Arian, several men with large bags of gold coins handed to them yesterday by Ark also accompany them and dive into the entrance.

The temple of the great tree is not as large as the mansion, but a higher blowout runs through the great tree than that. There were thick columns surrounding them, in such a way as to maintain the space for this blowout.

A slightly elevated circular stage-like place in the center is illuminated by the light of a crystalline lamp, a demonic prop installed inside the temple.

At the foot of that circular stage is depicted a complex and strange magic formation, which itself can be seen glowing brightly.

This is the temple of the transfer formation in La Latoia, inside the Elves.

The temple of the transfer formation set up by the first chiefs who created this great Canadian forest, in the centre, Maple and the main inside. Established eight hundred years ago, it was managed by elders in the interior for generations and remains an important facility connecting each mile with Maple, which is still the center.

As Dylan proceeded to walk in front of that transfer formation, a small elf man appeared from the room where the janitor of this temple, which was beside him, lived.

He only looks like a man in his forties, but even at nearly four hundred years of age, the life expectancy of the Elves, he doesn't see any more aging, unlike people.

"Elder Dylan, we're already ready for the transfer formation. However, due to this unscheduled transfer, the amount of Demon Stone Fuel (Manafio) will be insufficient, so..."

A small man, the administrator of the transfer formation, was speaking with a slightly painful look, but when Dylan nodded to Eagle Deep in an atmosphere that he knew he didn't even have to say, he took the demon stone he received from Ark out of his nostalgia last night and gave it to the administrator.

"Use this Demon Stone as Demon Stone Fuel (Manafio). It's annoying."

Upon receiving the demon stone, the caretaker thanked him small and stepped back.

Looking at it, Dylan advances over the magic formation in the center and calls Arian.

The luggage men who were following behind them stepped out of the magic formation and refrained from beside the temple when they placed a large bag of gold coins on top of the magic formation.

When Arian lines up next to his father early enough in response to Dylan's call, the magic formation at his feet gleams. After a dazzling light overflowed the temple and a moment of floating sensation, when the light subsided, it was not so different from where it had stood earlier.

However, the magic formation of the transfer at the foot is larger than earlier, and the temple itself is considerably larger. Until earlier, the guards who were not inside stood everywhere, and the temples were decorated with many decorations.

They moved to the temple of the transfer of the forest capital Maple.

After a gentle greeting with the keeper of the temple on the Maple side, Dylan and Arian follow the temple when they ask him to give them a large bag of gold coins left on top of the magic formation to carry them to the Central Court.

Outside the temple was a huge city.

In La Latoia it was a building of great trees built only on the neglected (Maba) and others, but more gigantic than that trees were built everywhere, and the roads ran vertically and horizontally as they sewed at their feet, and they could see the elves everywhere.

The blue sky of the tense air in the morning has been cut off by a group of great tree buildings, and the sun's rays, which are still low, have not yet reached its valley sufficiently.

But the streets are lined with shops, crowded with prestigious shoppers and shoppers who see in the goods, showing more vibrancy than the city of the people.

Barter still dominates the entire Elf tribe, but shopping by gold coins is becoming more common here in Mori Metropolitan Maple.

Arian also takes a deep breath and stretches to the longtime Forest Capital to make sure of the air.

This forest capital, Maple, is a large city with over 100,000 people living in it. The city in the depths of that great Canadian forest of warcraft will be a sight that no one can believe at all.

However, in the eight hundred years since the Mori capital Maple was built here, it has never invited a single human race. No one has seen the view here, not even the man of the Grand Duchy of Limburt, who is in a business relationship.

The reason for this is that there is an aggregation of various things that are not convenient for people to know. Just one of the reasons goes past Arian's eyes.

Is he about a hundred and thirty centimetres tall, not just a little kid, but a thicker arm and a generally more disappointing body than a Dark Elf man, a long stretched beard to the waist, with a few pointed ears.

Whoever crosses now in front of me is a Dwarf man.

Once targeted for its high metallurgical skill, a species supposedly exterminated in the human world. When it stares well, it can be mixed with many elves and seen all over the city.

This large city of the forest capital Maple was the first chief to create a cut to build this great city, a magical city formed by the spiritual magic of the Elves and the metallurgical technology of the Dwarves.

And the first chief strictly forbade people from being invited to this forest capital, Maple.

But the rest of the outer perimeter is left to the discretion of the elders. Because it is in the front line of dealing with people, or because it is relatively close to people's cities. But most of them are deep in the woods far from where people live, and they rarely encounter people. Because of this, there were rarely other people in the house.

Ark put it in Laratoia because of the spoken mouth of Arian, who was occasionally the daughter of an elder, which was quite an exception.

After enjoying the unchanging landscape of a single maple, Arian rushes to his father, Dylan, who is inviting him forward.

Dylan takes the streets in the valley of the Great Tree building without hesitation while avoiding the crowd.

After a while, he suddenly opens his sight, which has so far been held back by the building of the great tree. And in the heart of that vast space, there was a tower of giant trees bigger than any other building ever built.

The closer I get, the taller I look up, the more my neck hurts.

There are many guards standing at the wide entrance to the front, constantly eyeing the person entering and leaving. When I went to the front counter from the entrance and told the receptionist what was going on, an elf woman from the guide came out immediately.

When the conductor takes you to a place where there are a number of round cylindrical rooms in the back, you will be directed to one of them.

At the center of the cylindrical room is placed an object like a pedestal, and on top of it is embedded an object like a round crystal ball by about half. When the guide woman touches the crystal ball, the crystal ball glows slightly.

Then the floor of the cylindrical room rises without any foretaste, and without sound the circular floor rises upwards and upwards the blowout in the cylinder.

Did you reach the desired hierarchy in no time, or when the floor rose to a halt, it was a crossing set in the outer perimeter of the giant tree tower, and the windows along the outer perimeter overlooked the entire city.

Just facing west, you can see the city of Maple at your feet, with a huge lake horizon at the front. Whether you look north or south, the edge of the lake is invisible.

Named Great Slave by the First Chiefs, its huge lake is a valuable source of water for the city and a treasure trove of fish to be caught even more abundantly.

As you continue down the crossing with its Great Slave Lake reflecting the morning sun and glittering landscape, you will eventually reach your destination.

Coming in front of the large door of both of those openings, the lady of the guide opened one door and after informing her of the arrival of the visitors inside, she avoided to the side and urged the two of them to go inside alone.

Dylan and Arian agree to it and dive through its doors.

Inside, there was no such thing as a beautiful decoration, but rather a large room with a calm atmosphere. A huge round table is placed in the center of the room, around which eleven men and women take their seats.

Most of the people sitting are Elves, but there are also Dark Elves and Dwarves. It is the Great Ten Elders of the Central House who reign here in Mori Capital Maple and the Third Generation Chief Brian Boyd Evangeline Maple who sums it up.

The current chief is a figure in the genealogy of Evangeline, the first chief, who, as an elf, rarely inherits and names his first generation.

"Elder Dylan of Laratoia, was this a report of the results in a hostage rescue operation for an earlier kidnapping? Are you going to tell me why you went out in person?

Dylan was quietly questioned by the person who got to the back seat from the room.

A man in his forties or so, with a quiet atmosphere, he bundles long stretched, green blonde hair in intricate color-patterned strings. He was the third chief, the Brian chief.

To that inquiry, my father, Arian, who normally spoke in the face of a less visible tension, had a slightly uncommon gaze at Dylan, but when the conversation turned to the matter of the lord, he clouded his expression slightly and lowered his gaze.

At the end of Dylan's report, the purposeful atmosphere in the room was filled with rather quiet air, and the noise of someone's movements was heard slightly louder.

"Well, for now, we've managed to secure the rescue of the hostages and the two new missing persons."

When one of the great elders said so and cut off the first conversation, opinions began to be thrown one after the other, as if he had cut a weir.

"The problem is with the lord you caused during those two rescues. Wasn't this a little awkward?

"But you broke the treaty you made four hundred years ago. With that in mind, I don't think he's in a position to protest this case..."

"Wait, wait, the Lord's involvement in this kidnapping will be a good cause for war! They started a war on us six hundred years ago and forgot the country was divided!?

"Six hundred years ago for us, we need to talk about the generations of our parents, but they will be stories in history books... It would be impossible to have a truly friendly relationship with them."

"Hmm, you can't say anything over there when it comes to squeezing the release of rich demonic stones..."

Each of the elders shouts their own opinions loudly, and the scene presents a hustle and bustle.

Dylan, who was watching the situation, and Chief Brian, who sat in the back, were sighing heavily at the same time.

In the end, after that, further arguments were exchanged over lunch and a single settlement was reached, but the settled conclusions became less meaningful.

"Still looking for now, or..."

As the circular floor slides down the tubular room without sound, standing next to Arian, Dylan mutters the conclusion he reached earlier.

Since the war was waged with the Kingdom of Rhoden six hundred years ago, there has been little interaction. At the time, the Duke of Tischiento rebelled against the Kingdom of Rhoden and was pleased with the Grand Duchy of Limburt, who persisted in opposition to the Elf clan's engagement.

Since then, only Limburt has interacted with people such as the trade.

In the war of that time, the Kingdom of Rhoden lost a large part of its royal army and the army of the Lords and fell one step ahead of its demise. The only thing that still luckily left the country at the time was the division of the Leblanc Empire between East and West in a battle for succession to the throne, a fierce war and a respite for the rebuilding of the kingdom.

Then, four hundred years ago, the King of Rhoden officially apologized for his acts of war, and a treaty banning the capture of the Elves was signed in the form of a display of good faith.

One case of this assassination of a lord may indeed have been an overdone act, but the view was that the kingdom side also had its own non-existent, and would not come out too strongly.

In anticipation of the arrival of the messengers, we managed to settle down at the end of the day by saying that we should only prepare for them.

"Sorry, Elder Dylan"

On the side, his daughter, who pulled this trigger, lay her eyes down with an idle look. Dylan grins bitterly as she gently strokes that beautiful gray-haired head of her mother's concession.

"Arian's still young, and we're not done with this, are we?

With that said, he gives an example elf sales contract out of his nostalgia to show. Dylan was once again given the power to investigate the person on the contract of sale in the previous parliament.

"Looks like we've been able to reflect, and I'm going to ask you to continue investigating this. He was a helper, Ark. I'll officially ask you from this side. And it took longer than I expected, because I came to Maple, and I didn't even have time to meet Ibin."

Dylan gives a slightly tired look and shows her shoulders flattered. Ibin is his other daughter, and she is Arian's sister.

"Did you even run some errands on your sister?

Arian looks strange, but remembers her sister's seemingly inhospitable face she hadn't seen recently.

"Um, hadn't I told Arian yet? They're getting married around next year. I haven't even seen their faces yet, so I don't really feel it..."

In one of his father's words, Arian gives him such a stunned look that his jaw is about to come off.

"Huh?! Lie!? That battle freak and your sister who said she wasn't going to marry you for the rest of her life?! Who's the warrior I know?

"No, according to what I heard, I heard you were in agriculture."

Arian could only put on an incredible look.

Unmatched combat lover, whose strength is above Arian, boasts one of the most powerful Maple warriors. Arian just had to be confused by the story of her own sister, who only showed interest in her strong opponent, as if she had become a different person.

Leaving the central courtyard, the tower of giant trees, listening to such stories, the sky had already changed from the blue sky in the morning to the dark color.

In addition to the magic prop lights, the lights at the foot of the Great Tree building raise the appearance of a city that can leave the darkness.

A little loneliness and confusion had arisen in her that her sister, who she always thought would remain the same, had changed without her knowledge.

I wonder if it will also suddenly arise in me, captured by the irresistible thoughts as I look at the colours of the sky that change from one to the next.

Dylan and Arian walked side by side with few words along the path shown in the lights, hurrying back to the temple of the transfer to Laratoia.
