Skeleton Knight, in Another World

Purpose of the preference

Ariane, the dark elf, leads the way in the woods where the misty trees of the morning can hang out, walking normally behind her, not delaying.

On the helmet in armor wrapped around a black jacket that has recently become a perfect staple for the journey, it sticks to prevent it from falling even though it has a much bigger stretch of sleeping eyes.

He leaves Laratoia in the Elves early this morning for the River Libruto, which flows through the Canadian Great Forest.

After discussing it last night, we decided on the policy of exploring it from the land ruled by a lord nobleman with a name in mind within a seven-pack contract of sale. There were three names on the contract of sale, of which Elder Dylan's familiar name was Houlish du Hoban.

We were talking about a city called Hoban, which would be ruled by this presumed nobleman, within the Kingdom of Rhoden, so we set out to go there first.

Apparently this city of Hoban is one along the streets that connects the Grand Duchy of Limburt with the King's Capital of the Kingdom of Rhoden, where the Elves have the only business relationship.

Looking like a city quite a distance from La Latoia, we first set out to the inner Daltois of the Elf, downstream of the River Libruto, from where we moved west on the north side of the Annette Mountains to the city of the people ahead of us through the Great Forest, Celst.

Until Daltois, they said they could travel in an instant using the transfer formations that were supposed to be in La Latoia, but they talked about being able to use the transfer formations that were supposed to be secret to people.

I don't think I have any choice but to tell the story that I know the Elves' transfer team and that I can handle the transfer magic myself, because it is only known to some extreme parts of the Elves.

In addition to being able to transfer to places that have been there once [transfer gates (gates)], there was also the idea that the more [dimensional walking method (dimension moves)] that could be used to transfer short distances, the harder it would be.

But now the trees are depressed and thriving in the woods, carrying baggage bags down the roadless road and continually walking alone with two people. I guess in Ponta's case you don't strictly say you're walking......

The reason for this is that [Dimensional Walking Method (Dimensional Move)] could not be used.

It wasn't that magic in general was no longer available, but that Arian said it was caused by the fog standing in front of him.

This fog is not so thick that no other direction is known. The view is a little far away, white and sumptuous, and so misty that it can't be seen in the back.

They say that if these mists can be stuck in dark woods and valleys of magic vegetables (mana), somehow the magic sensation is inhibited, making magic difficult to control and the worst magic unusable.

However, this seems to be limited to the case of most people. The spirit magic of the Elves is controlled by the Spirit himself, so it is completely unaffected, and neither the Warcraft nor the Spirit Beast are affected.

It's like you managed to ski particles......

If you look at the fact that basic magic, such as flaming, can be used without problems, you may be affected by this mist as much as the delicate magic.

Eventually, behind the white and sumptuous forest, I began to hear the water flow from the direction of progress. Apparently they even came out to their first destination, the River Libruto.

As soon as I went out into the river plain, my sight opened right in front of me. Either the wind blowing along the river or the fog in this area seems to be exceptionally thin compared to the forest. Both upstream and downstream can be seen well ahead.

However, it seemed that nothing good had opened my sight, and it was in my eyes that several dragon flies were flying in flocks in the river in front of me.

Is Dragonfly intimidating an intruder who suddenly emerged from the woods, or he flies his jaw toward us making a giddy, deafening noise.

There's something frightening about spreading a big transparent feather and a giant dragonfly nearly two meters from the tip of your head to your tail going in here, even if you don't hate insects.

"Be careful, Ark!

"Noooo!?

Arian is dangerously in contact with Dragonfly when he pulls the Lion King's sword out of his hips, as he is accustomed to. Every time she rocks that long, beautiful gray hair and runs a silver flash, a giant dragonfly falls to the ground with its feathers and torso cut off.

On the other hand, this one activates the [Dimensional Walking Method (Dimensional Move)] at the usual rate without thinking of multiple Dragonfly Special Attacks. Fortunately, the river and the surrounding river plains had little fog influence, so the magic was activated safely and the dragonfly could be transferred slightly backwards.

The metastasis made it possible to get a certain distance and re-establish feelings and attitudes.

It's not that I particularly hate bugs, but before that, I became reflexively disgusted by the bugs coming at me because cockroaches flew toward me and it became traumatic to stick them on my clothes.

Pull out the sword raised on the back of your hips at once and pack the distance from the dragonfly as it is. Flashing a light pale pitiful glow on the sword body to the side, the torso of a giant dragonfly falls into two pieces and lies on the ground, but he crawls around on the gravel of the river plain, bumping his feathers if he is strong in life. He swings his sword through the other dragonfly that stays in the air as he crushes it with his armored feet.

Eventually, the other dragonfly decided it was unfavourable or splashed up upstream of the river, leaving no bugs around that were making offensive feathers.

Only the sound of water flowing through the river and the leaf rubbing of the trees along the river can be heard in the wind around.

Arian carefully wiped the body fluids of the insects on his sword with a cloth and returned them to his hips sheath, and he turned to this side and called out.

"Apparently the riverside isn't affected by fog. Then let's head downstream at once."

I nod at that word, make sure Arian grabs it on my shoulder, and then activate the [Dimensional Walking Method (Dimensional Move)] downstream of the River Libruto to move the metastasis.

As the sun got higher, the mist that was standing in the woods disappeared, and the outlook for the area improved.

Around noon, we take the lunch that Grenis was letting us have on the great rocks of the river plain, take a short break and then go further downstream using the metastatic magic.

Eventually, when the sun was slightly inclined, the mountain ranges, which were visible to the right forward ahead of us on our way, would appear quite large. That sounds like a mountain range called the Annette Mountains that we were talking about.

A short while before that, in the woods on the opposite east side was Daltois, inside the Elves.

The exterior is almost identical to La Latoia, where Ariane comes from, with few significant differences. But inside this one, a large water dig that supposedly drew water from the nearby River Libruto surrounded the inner city wall, and a bouncing bridge was provided in front of the gate that would be the entrance. That bouncing bridge is now up and nobody is getting close to the inside.

And in places like the square in front of the gate, several mushroom-shaped houses were built that we saw inside Laratoia.

Does Arian have no particular emotion for this view, or he approaches the watchtower set up at the top of the city wall in front of the raised bounce bridge and speaks up towards the elf where he was.

"My name is Arian Glennis Maple! The mission will take us to the city of the people! I want to rent a cabin overnight!

Speaking so, the elf of the man on the watchtower glanced at this side and, after talking to the other about something, returned a reply to Arian, who was in front of the moat.

"Welcome! I'll let you carry dinner from the inside! Use your favorite cabin!

In response, Ariane bowed her head and thanked her before returning her heels to come back here.

"I'm going to spend the night here in the cabin. Tomorrow morning, if we head west from here, we'll be in a city called Selst in the Kingdom of Rhoden."

"Hmm, finally. You've traveled quite a long way."

"If it's true, from La Latoia to here, it usually takes four days to walk through the woods..."

I follow her from behind into one of her suitably chosen cabins, listening to Ariane's voice containing such a little shudderness.

Inside the mushroom-shaped cabin you want to flatten, it's built for a fair amount of space, with thick columns standing in the center and a fireplace with a stone floor kitchen in the back. On the left hand side of the pillar was placed a table and chairs for four, only four beds lined up at the right hand window of the room, nothing else noticeable furniture.

Placing the luggage bag in his hand near the central column and sitting on the bed, Ponta, who had been seated on his helmet, descended on the slab floor to make sure he was inside the peppered walking room. After Ponta's walk as he lifted his foreleg and tilted his neck, he had a firm footprint.

Apparently it is not a cabin that is frequently cleaned or maintained.

As I opened the window completely and slammed the blanket on the bed with butterflies and dust, I tried to get rid of the dusty air, or Ponta magically twisted in the room, causing more dust to come in.

"Whoa, whoa!... Will you do something about this dust in the meantime because I'm going to say hello to the elders of Daltois for a moment?

Ariane shows her face gloriously as she looks up at her mouth with her hands.

"Uhm. Let's get you ready so you can sleep in bed."

Nod aloud and leave a voicemail.

I drop Arian off leaving the cabin and look around the cabin again. Find the wall beside the fireplace hung with a candlestick, and for now start by candleing the floor in the room.

After scratching the dust all the way out, he goes outside with a wooden barrel and rag placed in the corner. The sky was already stained almost with a dark color, and the trees of the forest were turning to black.

Look for the well around the cabin or around the empty cabin, but I can't find it, so I turn to the water moat. There was just a place with stairs attached to the surface of the water beneath the moat, from which the water was drawn.

I went back to the cabin and squeezed the rags with the water I had drawn into the wooden barrel, and when I finished wiping the table, chairs, etc., the cabin turned into a somewhat calming space.

"Hmm, well this is it..."

Arm up and convince one, then go out and dump the dirty wooden barrel of water outside.

Then from the downed bounce bridge at the gates of Daltois, Arian was about to come back with something. It looks like a lidded pot and cloth bag to hold.

"I got you dinner."

That being said, she showed the item in her hand and a grin on her glossy lips. Her light purple cheeks were slightly upbeat and reddish. Furthermore, when the damp white hair is swept by the wind, the smell of flowers smells on the wind.

"Mm, what if I took a bath?!?

She turned a blind eye to the reaction of this one, which was a step bigger than usual.

"Even Laratoia's parents were in there, right? I don't think people have much of a bathing habit."

"Holy shit!? You had a bath in Laratoia... mindless..."

She was tilting her neck with the look of a strange object when she showed herself openly dripping over Arian's shock remarks.

I haven't had a bath since I came to the other world. Exactly the body of this skeleton, so you can't expose yourself to people so easily.

I didn't know there was a bath in Laratoia's mansion... as if I hadn't noticed.

Makes me want to throw curse words at my breadth.

"... maybe you wanted to take a bath?

"Uhm."

"... does it make sense to take a bath with your bone body?

"disrespectful! I've loved beauty ever since I was a human being!

The voice of protest raised by this side is gently flushed, "Let's eat more than that," Ponta echoes in agreement with her unobtrusive opinion, followed behind her into the cabin.

Lost in the power of the number named Democracy, he reluctantly followed it back to the cabin.

The contents of the lidded pan that Arian held were bean and bacon soup, and inside the cloth bag was a wooden dish with bread and soup, plus some red fruit.

I look around the room again, looking at her as she splits the soup into a wooden dish, but what I was looking for didn't come into view.

"... you don't have a bath in this cabin"

"I don't have a choice. This hut was originally built to accommodate people who got lost around here."

In response to his blur, Ariane answers as he hands Ponta the fruit.

Fifty kilometers west of here to Selst in the Kingdom of Rhoden, and thirty kilometers south to the Grand Duchy of Limburt seems to hit, and from time to time people get lost for reasons such as being chased by warcraft. They say it's a cabin now with facilities to temporarily stay such lost people.

For this reason, the cabin has only minimal facilities, and there are no crystal shaped lamps, such as those found in the houses inside the Elves.

On the table, an oil lamp that houses an unfortunate amount of lights only creates that unforgiving light source.

─ ─ If you ever stay in La Latoia again, will you let me take a bath...

The new goal of the journey was to be carved into my chest as I quietly carried the bacon salty bean soup into my mouth.
