Skeleton Knight, in Another World

Troublesome Thing 1

We leave the Daltois cabin early the next morning and head west overlooking the Annette Mountains to the south. As well as yesterday, the morning woods were foggy and made for walking trips.

Sometimes, as I recall, the Warcraft stripped their fangs and attacked them, but the slower pace of progress was not a particularly great threat.

Eventually, when the sun got higher, the forest fog cleared up, and the speed of movement increased somewhat with the use of metastatic magic.

but in the woods with poor prospects the true value of the metamorphosis magic did not seem to be very exercisable, and the sun was already leaning much further into the western sky when it passed through the woods and was viewed the city of Selst in front of it.

Built on the plain, the city was about the size of the first Rubierte visited. The cultivated land around the city is more vegetables and other crops than wheat, with simple empty moats and dirt walls built in places facing the forest side, so as to discourage the invasion of warcraft from the forest.

The path between the fields of Selst seems quite remarkable as Ariane and the armored knight, dressed in a black coat, walk deep in his coat to hide the dark elves' characteristic light purple skin and pointed ears. A gaze can be thrown from all over, like resting your farming hands and looking at this one.

Walk gently through those gazes and enter the city by paying a city tax for two as it were to the guards on the lookout in front of Selst's gates.

"Let's start by looking for a place to stay today..."

"Right."

Arian, who had replied to his solitary remarks, had wandered his gaze around looking a little uncommon across the city. It was night when we infiltrated the city of Diento, so maybe it's still unusual to see a city of people within the bright.

The city was surrounded by a unique hustle and noise, including the shopping before the evening and the merchants who were vocal in the last sale, and the streets were crowded with cluttered crowds.

Walking down the street with Ponta on top of his helmet and a black jacket makes it easier to walk as nature and people waves split left and right.

Moving down the street for a while, I came across a group armed with metal and leather armor, just like myself, in the street in front of a building. There is a familiar sign in the building, indicating that this is the mercenary union.

The group of mercenaries in the garrison were carrying weapons of thought and gathered at the edge of the street to discuss something.

Are the warriors loud, or even if they are making it normal without losing the noise of the streets, so far the voices can be heard and the content of the story can be heard.

Interested in the content of the story and listening, he slows down his walking speed.

"How'd it go over there?

"No, you didn't show up this way."

A bearded big man, wrapped in metal armor and with a large shield at his feet, briefly asks the young man in the front. Youmen-style young man, wearing leather armor and carrying a bow to the question, shook his head with such expressions as exaggerating his shoulders and being fruitless, he answered.

"We saw one of the scouts, but they got away with it right away"

"Are you ten in seven days - it's a pain in the ass not to show up when this one's in a group"

"Oh, that's why we can't fight them in the minority. They're smart even if they put up a trap, it doesn't work at all. It's a headache story."

"If we mercenaries wrap up in Horned Wolf's crusade, we might be able to put a cross spear in the Lord's Army one of these days."

Listening to those two interactions, I was listening to those two conversations with my face up like Arian who was behind me had reacted to something.

The content of the mercenaries' story was such that a troublesome warcraft appeared in the forest at the foot of the nearby Annette Mountains and an emergency convocation hung on the mercenary regiment to which the city belonged.

Looking at the fact that a significant number of mercenaries are mobilized even from the number of mercenaries in the vicinity, I guess that warcraft called Horned Wolf is quite a threat.

What bothered me more than that was the emergency call on the mercenary to whom I belonged. If you really think about it, it's no wonder you call mercenaries in an emergency in the city.

This time it seems that only mercenaries from the city-based mercenary regiment have been convoked, but if this becomes a war between lords and nations, even the currents mercenaries in that city could be convoked...

─ ─ Perhaps we should avoid entering and leaving the city without a mercenary ID.

When I rub my mind about the treatment of mercenaries thinking about such future things, I accidentally turn back to the feeling of pulling the end of my coat from behind, and turn my attention to Arian, the Lord of that pull.

Ponta, who was on his helmet, is also standing up and leaning his neck, wondering if he had suddenly stopped walking.

"Ark, I need to talk to you for a second... Just get to the inn."

"Hmm, well. Then let's find a place to stay."

Follow her wishes and find the right lodging and enter a single inn.

I take a second room upstairs in that inn where one general is chopping up in a seemingly clean indoor and give Arian the keys to one room.

When she receives the key, she raises her luggage and goes up the stairs.

Dropping off the hindsight, I asked the general about the journey to Hoban, my next destination.

"Madam, may I ask you the way from here to Hoban?

"Oh no, knight. I can't believe it's your wife. You're going to light it up!

I say that and let my big breasts and big body twist, and then I look at the damsel laughing, and I remember the aunts in the neighborhood a little.

"Oh, was that Hoban? So if we left the South Gate and took the streets along the woods, would it have been a two-day carriage ride? I hear the guys who remember my arm are going through the woods, but I think we should stop now."

"Horned Wolf......?

"Yes, yes! He told me that more than ten people have been eaten in the last few days. I'm not usually the kind of warcraft that goes out into these woods, but apparently he came down from the Annette Mountains. It's a mess."

The general exhales in a grand sigh and makes her shoulder snap.

Apparently, that horned wolf is showing up all the way down the street attacking travelers and merchants, and the rumors are spreading around the neighborhood and visitors to this Celst are slowly starting to diminish.

The lord ordered the mercenary regiment to call up a crusade, and the mercenary said he didn't want to sell the fur too well, but he didn't carry it very well.

Listening to that, I had a little chat with the general before pulling him up to his assigned room.

As you lower your luggage to the side of the bed, take off your coat and sit back on the bed, Ponta also magically moves from the top of her helmet to the fudge and down to the window, from where she looks out and circles.

After knocking on the door there, Arian came into the room with his name up.

She remained covered in a grey coat when she came into the room, but when she closed the door she depressingly removed the hood she was wearing, shaking her long white hair like snow to get her hair done.

I exposed my light purple skin as smooth as crystal, and I usually lowered my willingness (Mazumi) slightly now, and my golden eyes look to this side.

Wait for her to say anything to that look that looks like the wind that's lost something.

"... Ark, could you stop by the woods at the foot tomorrow?

What she had spoken of since it was slightly was such a favor.

"Hmm? I was talking about saying it's quicker to break through the woods southwest than to take the streets from the south gate to get to Hoban..., isn't it?

To her own inquiry she nodded quietly before mouthing her own little purpose.

"Actually, the mercenaries were talking to me earlier. I need a Horned Wolf... I'd like that wolf tail if I could...... so can I stop by tomorrow?

"I remain committed to the purpose of Lord Arian. If Lord Arian says we need that Wolf's tail, I'm not too stingy to cooperate."

When I give a big nod to her wish, the person who said the wish sees this one with a slightly bad-ass look.

Usually showing a luscious smile and a masculine temperament, she brings' please 'to a slightly troubled breeze, she doesn't seem to have the answer to herself other than nodding here.

"... Actually, my sister's getting married soon, isn't she? So I thought I'd give you a veil made of Horned Wolf tail hair..."

She had a slightly lonely look on her face, but clearly spoke of her sister's circumstances and their purpose.

According to the story, Horned Wolf's tail is made of pale luminescent hair in the dark land of Magnetic Vegetables (Mana), and the veil made of thin woven yarn has a unique glow that is pale and phosphorescent, making it an expensive gift.

However, Horned Wolf, with its material tail, has difficulty securing it because of the rather nasty warcraft of creating multiple illusions of its own and attacking it while stirring up its prey.

─ ─ No way. A shadowy warcraft is...

They can handle it fairly sparingly even with Ariane on their own, but basically it seems like a warcraft that hunts and travels in a group, and multiple opponents are just as tough.

She was also lost because this request was not an act of rescue for the Elves, but it would make sense for people to want to reach out if there was a limited edition rarely available in front of them.

When it comes to motive and giving a gift to your sister, there is no particular element of rejection. The strength of the Warcraft when it comes to her last concern, but if she can deal with it adequately, she'll be fine if she's not alarmed.

"Um, shall we make the journey to Hoban tomorrow the forest at the foot of the Annette Mountains"

"Thanks, Ark"

That's what she tells me about tomorrow's policy, and she has slightly dyed and leaned down those light purple cheeks and thanked them small. I'd like to see her face lit up a little bit more, but I cut it up in moderation because when I look too giddy, I get stared at by my golden eyes as usual.

"So suppose I buy you some dinner... and then some preserved food for tomorrow"

"Ki-yun!

Mumbling thinking about tomorrow's plans and preparations, Ponta, who had looked out the window until earlier and was lacking, echoes his remarks quickly and sings out. Fly out the window, ride the magical wind and stick it on your face, and climb straight up onto your helmet.

I wondered how the hell I understood people's words and rolled them out into the streets where the sun went down with Ponta, even though I wondered.
