Skeleton Knight, in Another World

Warcraft Researcher 1

Within the walls, buildings were arranged around each other, mainly in the square courtyard surrounded by corridors. All the buildings were connected by a corridor, and when they exited the filling, they were passed across that corridor to the front of one building. The building in front of you is two stone floors, box-shaped like the others. It looks smaller because the other buildings around it are big and tall, but it looks somewhat bigger than the whole house I've seen all over the city.

The beautifully tattooed carved wooden door was fitted with a simple door knocker for the price, and the captain replied with a man's voice from inside when he struck it out.

"It's open ~"

It was a relaxed response against this side and Arian's somewhat tense atmosphere, but the captain opened his hands on the door without worrying.

"Excuse me!

When the captain replies no and then avoids by the open door, Arian is passed to the building first. After that, I go inside myself and the two of us look inside.

The room in front of the ground floor, lined with thick wooden columns and beams handed over, is cancerous, with a long table like a table in the centre. Long chairs are distributed on either side of them, with one elbowed chair on the upper and lower seats. Less commonly used, the stripped stone floor has also become a bit of a cold space.

The last captain who came in stepped forward to overtake us, leading us straight across the dining room to the back room.

It was cluttered inside the room that seemed to be adjacent to the dining room.

A table for reception was placed in the center of the room, but on top of it there are many books and scrolls such as parchment paper stacked unwrought. Several bookshelves are distributed near the walls, but the shelves are also packed tightly with books and there is no room to store them already. The floor is covered with a carpet woven with beautiful tattoos, but on top of it is a rock mass. Some animal nails, fangs, etc. have been rolled and the foot treadmill has been lost.

There was a large glass window in the back, and in front of it was placed something like a literary machine with a slight oblique angle to write things down, and a man sat on his back in the chair in front of him.

"I have brought a messenger from Canada."

"Hey, thanks"

When the captain saluted the man in the back near the entrance to the room, he turned right and left the room.

"I didn't expect a messenger from Canada. You're welcome."

A man sitting on a chair stood up and said a welcome word.

Long ears and emerald eyes, which are also the hallmark of the Elves, peek this way through round glasses, on a blurry head like a proper cut of green blonde hair.

The outfit is not an elf-specific ethnic costume or the like, not much different from that of the common people you see in the city, but the good looks worse than the common people.

"It's Arian Glennis Maple. Nice to meet you......, Mr. Carthy?

"Are you a Maple warrior? Wow, I'm Kersey Herd, Kersey is fine, Ariane. So, with you, armored knight... oh!! BENTOVOLPIES!!

Carthy asked Ariane's name, her eyes slightly rounded and she raised her surprise, and now she turned to this side and asked her name. But when his gaze turned to the ponta that was sticking over his head, he looked stunned and rushed to scratch the loaded luggage and came nearby, raising his voice like he was excited.

"My name is Ark, like a companion to Lord Arian's journey. This is Cottonwool Fox Ponta."

"Kee-yu......"

Pushed by the force of Carthy, I could see Ponta lagging over my head.

"Travel companion? I've never seen an elf in such armor, so could it be human?

I nod and affirm to Carthy's question with a slight lean neck. Then Kersey moved her gaze to observe this side from top to bottom again with a surprising look.

"What do I say, but that's a rare combination. Hey, and I can't really see the Spirit Beast nostalgic for people."

Carthy grinned and tried to reach Ponta, but Ponta went around completely to the back of her neck, trying to escape that hand. Seeing it, Kersey laughed powerlessly, dropping her eyebrow butt and looking sorry.

"I've never been missed by a spiritual beast in a long time... Oh, sit down, sit down."

Kersey, sighing, noticed this one had remained standing, prompting her to unearth the chair buried in the luggage nearby and sit down. There was just one chair, so I urged Arian to sit down and I stood still to hold back behind her.

"And is it true that you say a messenger to me from the inside?

Arriving in his chair, Kersey has questioned him as he pushed up his middle finger with his glasses tumbling down to his eye. It has an atmosphere that gives some idea of the situation in terms of tone.

"No, we are in the midst of a mission to pursue our compatriots who have been taken away by the people. I happened to visit here on my way to a city called Landbart..."

"Cheng Cheng, when you heard there was an elf stranger in this city, you came to make sure it was true. Nevertheless, Landbart and I have come a long way, both of us."

As Carthy snorted with a convincing face, Ariane, sitting in the chair, turned her gaze towards this way. I didn't say anything, but I don't know what I'm trying to say, but I can guess.

"Nevertheless, Lord Kersey, you've always been safe in the people's city."

Swing the subject to the elf tribe of glasses in front of her so as to mislead her gaze. Kersey looked over at the room in such a way as once again, in a smudged tone.

"Were you here about ten years ago? Forty years after I left, that's what I've been doing all over the place, trying not to know who I am. When I think about other countries, I think this country is better yet."

"Oh, you've lived here a long time since ten years."

"Given our lifespan, I think it's a feeling of a year or two in terms of people's feelings. It's certainly not as short as saying... This is a convenient place for ecological research and research because it's sandwiched between the Hibbot Wilderness to the west and Mount Calcutto to the east, and there are many kinds of warcraft."

I put a prefix there, and then I said, "I'm not much of a fit to live in," and laughed as I slipped up my glasses.

"Why are you in a city like this?

Ariane asks Carthy the question she would have loved to hear the most.

The content of the mission alone should place people in a less trustworthy race for her. I guess it's quite surprising that the Elves live in a dignified people's city with people's asylum.

"When I first got here, I hid who I was too. However, take an interest in me living in the city well that my current lord is studying warcraft... After I was invited to the Mansion, I was specifically asked to rent this place after they found out it was the Elves. Now I'm investigating the ecology of warcraft here, and I'm publishing books that describe and compile them. Well, I was doing the same thing in there."

Once again, looking around the room, the messy parchment paper is carefully brushed with warcraft and thoughts, and many memoirs and other things written and beaten are scattered there.

I guess he's a root warcraft researcher to see that many of the books on the bookshelf are filled with literature on warcraft.

However, Arian has a slightly more complicated look on his face.

"I'm doing a survey of sandworms living in the Hibbot Wilderness now, but I'm almost in the ground and the ecology is even less likely to see me. Besides, it's quite a strong enemy to secure, so it's also difficult..."

So Kersey looked up, but accidentally compared this side to Arian's face alternately, and he raised his voice when he hit his hand.

"That's right! I was thinking of doing something about capturing Sandworm next time, and I was wondering if you guys could help me out? I think it would be quite hands-on for a Maple warrior to accompany him..."

"No, we're on other assignments..."

It was Kersey, who came in momentum for assistance in capturing the Warcraft, but Arian replied with a slight clouding of words but no. I thought it was a little something to listen to because it was the request of my fellow Elves, but as for myself, I was a little surprised by the unexpected reaction and peered at Arian.

"... the warrior inside also reads and studies books to learn about the ecology of the Warcraft at the same time as his swords and magic workouts. If you investigate the ecology of the Warcraft and make it into a book, the people will gain that much knowledge that can counter the Warcraft."

Golden eyes staring straight at Karsey.

I don't know what she's trying to say, but I think I know. The point is, why does he do things on the side of the people that are the Elves?

Carthy smiles a little bitterly and hangs it back deep in her chair.

"The book that describes the ecology of the Warcraft that you studied is probably the one I made when I was inside."

"! Then Yue...!

"The difference between a late or early ecological survey of Warcraft is something someone will do one day. I think it makes sense for someone to be me, the Elves."

Kersey looks back into Ariane's eyes as she pinches words to block Ariane from trying to recruit her.

I know what he's trying to say. It would be good for the Elves if those who, like the people of this city, thanked him for his research, the Elves, showed up with less damage to the Warcraft. If you change the way you look at the Elves from the people, it can also be about protecting the Elves.

However, given that the status quo is protected by the Lord's walls and numerous guards, it can be said that the future is still difficult.

"As I said earlier, this country is much better than other countries. Now this is how the lord here treats me. Canada and Rhoden are next door to each other. If we're going to choose whether to turn against each other or join hands in the future, I'll choose to join hands."

Saying so, Kersey loosens her mouth as she slips up her glasses.

"Besides, he's behind you. He's human too, isn't he?

Ariane looks over her shoulder and looks complicated.

If they do say it's a human race, they can't deny raising questions about it themselves. It turns out that he was cursed once, but the status quo only looks like an immortal (undead).

I don't feel like I'm forgetting something important, but...

But when I think about it, I feel my gaze unexpectedly and turn my face towards you. Arian was pointing those beautiful gold eyes at this one, and he was shaking to ask something.

"This may also be a guide to the Spirit. I will obey the judgment of Lord Arian."

Coming here is a big stop at my lack of sense of direction, but I may have been invited to an invisible hand like the "Spirit's Guide" that Arian grunted when knocking down the stick again on that divide - and I put my directional tone deafness up on the shelf in my heart.

"If you can help me, I'll pay you back, too. I don't have much money, but what about this Warcraft Ecological Survey? It's the one that books what I've investigated everywhere since I left the inside, two books in the upper and lower volumes. I think you can learn more about the inside and the outside."

That's what Carthy says, taking out two thick stash books that were beside her and arranging them in front of her. It has a leather fitting, with an illustration of a warcraft on the cover that reminds me of a dragon somewhere, engraved "by Carthy Held" on the side.

Turning down and opening the contents slightly, the figure of the Warcraft was painted in a polite illustration, written on the sides across a wide variety of lines, including the ecology and characteristics of its warcraft and the characteristics of the place where it lived. I've loved books like these drawings since I was a kid, so I get a little excited watching them.

"And this is the one I'm not willing to announce to the people, but it's a book that brings together the spiritual beasts I've seen so far. Even so, it doesn't say as much about Warcraft as it does. Anyway, I have difficulty getting close to the Spirit Beast, so it's difficult to do a detailed ecological survey..."

Carthy grinned bitterly as she scratched her head and offered to pick up another book. Unlike the earlier book of Warcraft Ecology, the thickness is not so great, and the fitting is quite a mess.

Apparently he is also unwilling to announce the results of that investigation to the human race with regard to the Spirit Beast. I guess it's because I can think of more people like Ponta.

It would just be the difference between slow or early, as he said, too.

"Okay, maybe I won't get much time..."

Arian turned his eyes to Carthy and replied in a firm tone.
