Skeleton Knight, in Another World

Warcraft Researcher 2

Kersey leads the corridor within the walls, and Arian and himself follow behind it. When the servants and guards of the lord's mansion rub off, they each meet Carthy and leave. Whether Arian, the dark elf behind him, is rare, his gaze can be thrown from time to time, but not so much indiscreet gaze.

The central mansion is probably the biggest in the walls, and this is the lord's mansion. Kersey greets the watchman who walked up the front stairs and refrained by both sides of the main door, and the watchman quietly opens the main door.

Carthy dived the main door, its main entrance, in a wind she was used to thanking, and one of the watchmen blocked the front as she tried to follow it.

"I'm sorry, I'll leave my weapon with you here"

"The Sword of the Holy Thunder (Karadborg)", a large two-handed sword, is raised on his hips, and "The Sword of the Lion King" is raised on Arian's hips. I can't seem to carry a weapon to enter the Lordship's mansion.

I'm slightly anxious to get my weapon off hand, but I can't help but hold on here. Shut up and give every sheath sword to the guard on the nodding watch. Arian offered the same sword he had raised on his hips.

The guard looked like he was in love with this sword for a moment, but he pulled his face tight and reached out to receive the sword. Put the sword on its hand and let go, the guard broke the balance as soon as he could.

"Gu! Oh, heavy..."

When the guards stomped desperately not to take down the sword they were given, they seemed to have managed to carry it.

"Are you okay?

"also, sorry"

I don't have the feeling that it is too heavy when I wave my sword myself, but it may be difficult for ordinary people to even wave it. That makes it somewhat easier to take your eyes off the sword. Because if you can't use a powerful weapon, it can't be that much of a threat.

The guard's permission was granted, so I followed Carthy in first and dived the door. Ahead, in the front hall, a single servant woman spoke to Carthy.

"Master Carthy? What can I do for you today?

"Oh, Skittos, is that your usual room? I don't want to be guided."

With that said, Stasta and I go up the front stairs leading upstairs. Continuing early enough so that myself and Arian wouldn't be left behind on it, the servant woman turns her eyes round and is surprised.

"Huh!? Dear Carthy, if we're going to let you through, we need you to tell us in advance!

I rushed up the stairs to chase Carthy up to the second floor, but the woman slips her legs and leans forward to see if she was in a hurry and her feet were neglected.

It was Arian who moved there quickly. When I approached the woman with a body that couldn't even make a sound, I firmly supported the body I was falling into.

"Are you okay?"

"Also, I'm sorry, sir"

As Arian peered into the face of the servant's woman with her golden eyes, the woman dyed her cheeks slightly Zhu, hurriedly releasing her body and lowering her head momentously.

"Dear Carthy! Please wait!!

Perhaps to delude her own impatience, the woman rushed upstairs calling out loudly to Carthy, who had gone earlier.

"Don't be so hard, Britta."

"Are you mad at me?!?

"Skittos, have you ever been angry about that?

"The chief samurai will piss me off!

Up the stairs, a female servant known as Britta was filing a complaint while chasing Carthy. Carthy is walking into the room of interest laughing and deluding.

Apparently it's a constantly recurring sight, with different rubbing guards and servants laughing bitterly and not saying anything, but rubbing off.

Arian looked a little ridiculous watching as she followed those two exchanges from behind.

"Hey, I'm here. Mr. Skittos."

And Kersey opened the door with a beautiful print at the back, without a knock. Afterwards, it was Britta, a servant, who rushed on, with her head in her arms, saying only one word, "Excuse me," and going inside.

Myself and Arian, who were behind me, looked at each other and then walked in between a beat.

"You, I was talking about an elf guest definitely coming, but what are you doing here? I was going to show my face here after this job..."

The room is a rectangular room with a little bit of longitudinal, with a short bookcase arranged on each side and dishes arranged on top of it. On the back wall was a large bright glass window on both sides, and in the center in front of it was a politely patterned sandalwood clerk desk.

The magnificent man, arriving at the desk seat of that executive desk, looked up at the desk with the paperwork he had in his hand when he saw Carthy and Britta, who had come in.

A magnificent man called "Mr. Skittos" by Carthy. Around forty years old, a pair of short, pruned dark tea hair peeks from the top of the desk through the sleeves of fine clothing but also through the forged upper body. It reminds me more of the leader of the mercenary regiment than of nobility to speak in a soothing tone while stroking the jaw that gave rise to a slightly barren mustache.

Skittos, the lord, surprised his eyes slightly when he saw himself and Arian coming in later, but quickly returned his gaze to Carthy.

"Actually, I've been talking about taking specimens of sandworm for a long time."

Kersey spoke to Skittos casually, this time turning to him with a clear look of surprise.

"You haven't given up on that one yet? Like I said before, you can't get too many soldiers out of our house, can you? Thanks to you, the farmland has expanded, but this time we have a shortage of people to cultivate. It's just a small number of people, so three or four is the limit."

Carthy called herself and Arian by inviting this one as she looked back with real pleasure against Skittos, who sighed with a wrinkle between her eyebrows.

"It's okay! These two are going to work together this time. This is Ariane from the inside, and she's wearing this armor."

"It's my escort, Ark."

Make sure Arian breaks into Kersey's introduction as he sees this side. Respond with your head down so that you can also meet a little.

Perhaps it was a response to following myself with my helmet on, which certainly doesn't seem like a very detailed thing to be said when it comes to escorting the Elves' messengers. I don't know if there is a concept of diplomatic privilege or something in this era, but if I'm not willing to provoke it, I won't be able to point it out without darkness.

The person in front of you just doesn't seem to care that much about detail.

"Are you willing to go as far as the Apostle?

Perhaps with a shuddering voice, Skittos, brought to the chair as he looked up to the ceiling, sighed heavily before his slightly sympathetic gaze was pointed at this way.

"I can't believe we're doing this, I asked you to negotiate properly, didn't I?

Behind Kersey, who answered with pleasure, Britta had bowed her head deeply to show her apology.

"And then, Mr. Skittos, would you be grateful if you could lend me about four people to carry the bait?

"It's that goblin you've been hoarding..., I'll lend it to you, so just dispose of it. I've had it rotten for five days, so I'm starting to get smelly complaints."

He did the trick of getting rid of Kersey snugly, then turned to Arian and stood up.

"Nice to meet you, Lord Arian. I'm a lord here. Someone called Skittos du Blambaina, but call me Skittos, as appropriate. I didn't think you had visitors because this is such a despicable place, so please don't be rude."

"Ariane Glennis Maple, it doesn't matter."

When Carthy offers her right hand, Arian also shuts up and puts out her right hand to shake hands. Is Skittos feeling the rarity in Arian's skin, he moved his gaze slightly when he shook his hand but quickly put it back in such a way as not to enlighten him around.

"So... I'm even going to set up a welcome seat tonight..."

"No, we don't have much time to slow down, so we'll leave here as soon as we're done helping him..."

Arian replies no to the words of Skittos, the lord, who spoke of preparing the banquet seat so that he could cover it. I am in any case resistant to taking off my helmet in public, so I just stick it standing behind me as Arian's escort even if the banquet seat is held.

"Really? I don't need it if you don't mind... well, the Apostle is busy with something. Lord Carthy, please."

That said, Skittos didn't make a single disgusting face, laughed and then turned weird trying to turn towards Carthy.

"Is that it? Where'd he go?

Looking indoors again at that word of Skittos, Carthy's appearance was not there already.

"He left in a good mood earlier."

"Again..."

When Britta told him with a face she had given up somewhere, Skittos looked sorry and turned to Arian.

Arian slowly opened his mouth after staring at such a lord's man.

"Why did you, the lord, accept him, the Elves?

He was a skittos with a look like he didn't know what the word asked him for a moment, but he immediately grinned at his mouth.

"He's a really capable researcher. About ten years ago, this was a land where the population had been overwhelmed by repeated damage from warcraft. Since his arrival, he has coached the leadership on various warcraft measures and ecology, and has made it much easier to rebuild the city. I appreciate the people and me... really."

As far as interactions with Carthy were concerned, it looked like they were often annoyed, but I guess some trust is built between the two of them.

I was asking Arian if he also felt that, especially if he didn't say anything but shut up and hit the gavel.

When Arian said goodbye to Skittos as he left the room, he said, "I don't care if you show your face any time," and laughed back. The whole city isn't that big either, so it's as safe as a carefree mayor when it comes to lords.

He received each of the weapons he had kept at the entrance to the mansion, and when asked where Carthy was going, he was led to one of the warehouses in the walls.

Its buildings have no particular characteristics such as this, apart from the small windows slightly attached to square box-shaped ones, which are neither interesting nor anything. One side of the double-open door in the front of it had been opened and a strange odor was leaking out of it.

Peeping inside, the odor thickens even more, and Arian, who was next door, looks at her with a great deal of unexpectedness. Ponta over her head doesn't particularly care, she's shaking her tail as usual. There was a single wagon in that ragged warehouse, and a person peering into the wagon noticed this way.

There were about ten creepy dwarves loaded on the carrier with green skin, but they are all starting to rot, giving off a terrible stench.

"It's a goblin that Wyburn recently drove me to near the city. They're starting to ferment in good shape, and they're going to lure the sandworm out of the bait."

"Lord Carthy, when are you going to capture Sandworm?

Next to Arian, who is not picking her nose next door and has slight tears, she asks instead what she would like to hear.

"The sandworm will be active from evening to night, so why don't we go out after lunch? Yeah, you guys want something to eat for lunch? There's a delicious oak shop."

When she heard the offer and looked at Arian, she was silently shaking her neck sideways with her nose picked. I'm honest that I'm not willing to eat in public more than I was, but I just don't think I want to eat oak after seeing this.

Carthy looks a little sorry to say, and then she turns her gaze to this side.

"No, I won't this time either."

"Really? Too bad it's really delicious."

Kersey was dropping her eyebrow butt watching the rotten goblin on the carrier, but she said her future plans when she regained her mind or looked up.

"Well, will you come back here after noon? Until then, you should look around the castle and the city."

So Carthy and I broke up and decided to head back to the city.
