Slowly Falling into His Love Trap

Evelyn’s heart felt as if it had been fiercely pierced by a needle. Thinking of what Sean Ashton said, combined with seeing Caden Lockwood’s weary expression at this moment, she blamed herself for being so capricious and tormenting him.

"I’ll go back with you." Evelyn choked, tears falling uncontrollably, "I’ll go back with you! Tell me, does your head hurt? Please tell me!"

"It doesn’t hurt anymore." Caden stretched out his hand and pulled Evelyn into his arms, "As long as you’re willing to obediently come back with me, nothing will hurt anymore!"

Evelyn punched Caden’s chest lightly, her face showing extreme grievance despite her weak strength.

Caden held Evelyn tightly without letting go, listening to her playful complaints, his restless heart finally began to settle.

"That fool!" Evelyn couldn’t help but shout angrily.

Sean Ashton sped up the car, rushing Caden to the hospital where a doctor, after a quick understanding of Caden’s condition, immediately administered pain relief treatment.

Evelyn stood outside the emergency room, with Sean Ashton’s words about Caden’s state over the past few days echoing in her ears, haunted by Caden’s pale, weary face.
