Slowly Falling into His Love Trap

Feeling Julian Keaton’s unease, fear, loneliness, and helplessness, Cecilia Lynch leaned in his arms and softly asked, "If no one blesses us, will you still continue?"

"I will!" Julian Keaton replied resolutely.

Loosening his hold on Cecilia slightly, he looked into her eyes and continued, "Even if you don’t see hope for this relationship anymore, or stop loving me, I will still continue!"

Cecilia Lynch bit her lip, raised her hand, and gently wiped away the moisture from Julian Keaton’s eyes.

Causing this strong man to endure hardship with her made her heart ache as if it were being crushed by a thousand armies.

"Julian." Cecilia Lynch’s voice was stuck in her throat, "I’m worried you’ll resent me in the future, that I made you lose everything you once had."

"Have a little faith in me," Julian Keaton said softly, "and have a little faith in yourself."

Cecilia Lynch nodded, took a deep breath, and said, "My mom said she wants to talk to you in private."

Julian Keaton was stunned; clearly, he hadn’t expected this opportunity to come so soon.

He thought Cecilia Lynch’s mother would absolutely never accept him.

After all, it was his immaturity that had given her daughter a bad reputation.

"Aren’t you going in?" Cecilia Lynch urged.

Although she didn’t know what her mother wanted to talk about with Julian Keaton, Cecilia Lynch believed in him; he would definitely be better at persuading her mother.

Julian Keaton immediately nodded, lifted Cecilia Lynch’s chin, kissed her red lips, and after kissing her deeply, he prepared to walk into the hospital room.

He had only walked a couple of steps when Julian Keaton stopped again.

"You’re not planning to... use this opportunity to run away, are you?" Julian Keaton asked very cautiously.

Hearing Julian Keaton’s doubts, Cecilia Lynch’s heart ached intensely.

Her previous uncertainty surely made him very unsettled!

"I won’t run away," Cecilia Lynch said very confidently, "My mom is still recovering and needs me to take care of her. How could I possibly abandon her and run away?"

Even though Julian Keaton knew Cecilia Lynch was telling the truth, he still felt uneasy.

He walked up to Cecilia Lynch again and whispered, "I want you to swear that if you run away, I will be immediately hit by a car as soon as I step outside!"

"Julian!" Cecilia Lynch was anxious, "You..."

"Then I’ll swear." Julian Keaton raised three fingers, "If I come out later and don’t see you waiting here, I will step outside and immediately be..."

Before he could finish speaking, Cecilia Lynch stood on tiptoe and proactively kissed his lips.

She didn’t want to hear him take such oaths about himself.

It made her uneasy and scared.

Julian Keaton reached out, wrapped his arms around Cecilia Lynch’s waist, and as he felt her kiss, his inner anxiety gradually dissipated.

She didn’t kiss deeply; her cheeks were blushing as she softly said, "Can you not be so extreme? I’ve already said I won’t leave! I won’t lie to you."

Julian Keaton’s lips curled into a slight smile, and he whispered in Cecilia Lynch’s ear, "Cece, say you love me."

Seeing Julian Keaton’s childlike demeanor, Cecilia Lynch shook her head helplessly.

"I love you," she said with her bright eyes, "Julian, I love you!"

Julian Keaton nodded contentedly, leaving a precious kiss on Cecilia Lynch’s forehead before he let her go.

Looking at her reluctantly, he finally walked towards the hospital room.

Cecilia Lynch stood at the doorway waiting, her heart rising to her throat, and a strong sense of anxiety flooded her chest, making her restless and uneasy.
