"Why would the City Lord’s Estate add rewards?" Zich asked.
After a few quiet moments, Helen shook her head.
"I’m not sure. The Central City Lord rarely interferes directly in matters involving young players, and the City Lord’s Estate has maintained an extremely low profile attitude toward the outside world over the past few years."
"However, you won the championship for humanity in this generation of the Chosen Tournament, so it isn’t abnormal for the City Lord’s Estate to make some kind of gesture."
Jayden suddenly spoke while chewing his food.
"It may not only be because of the championship."
Helen looked at him. "You know something?"
"I only heard someone in my family mention it once."
Jayden leaned against the back of his chair, his expression still indifferent.
"After the tournament ended, the City Lord’s Estate requested all of Zich’s battle records from the preliminary stages onward."
"Including his personal information."
Zich raised his eyes. "My personal information?"
"The portions they were permitted to access."
Jayden said, "Your family, upbringing, awakening records, and most of the publicly available information recorded by the Players Association after you entered the Mountain of Ascension."
"Investigations like that aren’t rare."
"Any top genius who suddenly appears will be investigated by the various factions."
"The difference is that the City Lord’s Estate has not taken the initiative to investigate a young player for many years."
Silver lights slowly drifted across the lake’s surface.
The atmosphere became quieter without anyone noticing.
Zich did not like other people investigating his family.
However, he also understood that with the strength and potential he had now displayed, it was already impossible for him to remain completely unnoticed.
As long as the other party did not touch his secrets or take any dangerous actions toward his parents, an investigation of this degree was not yet worth reacting to.
"You don’t need to think too much about it," Helen said, as if trying to reassure him. "My father knows about the matter. The Players Association will not allow any faction to casually approach your family."
Zich nodded and didn’t think too much about the topic.
Just like that, time slowly passed.
The food on the table gradually diminished, with at least one third of it entering Slimy’s body.
It was now lying on its back near the edge of the table, its round body rising and falling gently with every breath.
Clearly, it had completely lost the ability to continue fighting.
Helen leaned against the back of her chair and gently swirled the pale golden drink inside her cup.
"Now that the tournament is over," she looked toward the lake. "What are all of you planning to do next?"
"Train," Jayden answered without hesitation. "I’ll reach Level 20 within a month."
"I’m preparing to enter the Windrest Realm," Mira spoke softly.
Helen nodded.
The Windrest Realm was a special realm controlled by the Players Association and provided considerable benefits to wind element and speed type classes.
"What about you?" she looked at Zich, who had yet to say anything.
Zich remembered the seven days Razeil had mentioned.
Seven days later, he would officially begin training under a Level 200 Angel mage.
Before that, he still needed to collect the champion’s rewards, continue familiarizing himself with Power Evolution, and increase his strength as much as possible.
"My training begins in seven days," Zich answered calmly.
"What kind of training?"
Helen immediately followed up.
Zich did not answer.
Razeil had explicitly required him not to casually reveal her identity as his mentor.
Even though Helen was Arthur’s daughter, he had no intention of voluntarily exposing the matter.
Helen stared at him for several seconds.
"You can’t say?"
"I can’t."
"All right."
Although she was curious, she did not continue questioning him.
Jayden frowned slightly.
With Zich’s current strength, ordinary training would not be worth mentioning so seriously.
Any training he treated with this degree of importance had to involve guidance from an extremely powerful individual.
However, like Helen, Jayden did not ask.
Every player possessed secrets of their own.
At that moment, a faint ripple suddenly appeared across the spatial barrier surrounding the Moon Lake area.
A senior attendant from Silvermoon Court appeared outside the barrier.
He did not enter directly. Instead, he first sent a request to visit.
Helen glanced at Zich before raising her hand and opening the barrier.
"What is it?"
The attendant entered the area and first bowed to Helen and the others before directing his gaze toward Zich.
"Mr. Zich. There is a guest from the City Lord’s Estate outside who wishes to speak with you privately."
They had only just mentioned the City Lord’s Estate, and now one of its people had appeared.
Helen slowly placed the cup in her hand down.
Jayden’s and Mira’s expressions also became more serious.
Zich remained seated.
"Who is it?"
The attendant lowered his head slightly.
"The other party did not reveal their identity. They only presented the Silver Star Token of the City Lord’s Estate."
"However, they asked me to pass a message to you."
Zich looked at him.
"Speak."
The attendant paused briefly, seemingly considering his wording. Only then did he respectfully speak.
"The City Lord’s daughter has watched every one of your battles during the Chosen Tournament."
"She is very interested in you. If you are available tonight, she hopes to meet you."
The moment the final word fell, the Moon Lake area became completely silent.
Helen narrowed her eyes slightly, a clear look of disapproval on her face.
Jayden’s brows slowly furrowed, but unlike Helen, he was very curious to know why the City Lord had come looking for him.
Even the usually calm Mira displayed obvious surprise in her eyes.
Zich merely sat there quietly, showing no visible emotion within his pale golden eyes.
After a moment, he lowered his head and glanced at Slimy, who had already fallen asleep on the table.
Then he raised his head again.
"Where is she?"
The attendant moved one step to the side.
"At the highest floor of Silvermoon Court. She is waiting for you."
