Chapter 94:

Yeon and the rest of the players stumbled back in sheer terror as they stared at Leon.

The guild members scrambled over their own feet, retreating several meters away from the bloody scene.

They had previously thought they had him completely cornered, battered, and at their absolute mercy.

However, they soon realized with rising panic that such was definitely not the case.

They didn’t know anything about Arthur Pendragon or the sword rejecting Leon, since he was unworthy according to Arthur.

Because of their utter ignorance, they felt everything that had just happened was simply part of his dark plan.

They truly believed he had intentionally staged a weak act to bait them all into a lethal trap.

Yeon shivered violently from head to toe, his face completely pale as he muttered in a shaky, furious voice, "You... you bastard..."

Cold sweat poured down his neck as he stared at the bloody pile of chopped flesh sitting near the center of the room.

If he had been even a second faster in reaching the sword, then it would be his own chopped up pieces lying on the floor instead of that man.

He had been mere inches away from touching that cursed golden hilt before the lightning-fast player zoomed past him.

In his distorted eyes, he was the primary target Leon originally intended to be chopped into pieces right from the start.

He firmly believed that was the sole reason why Leon had dropped the sword so extraordinarily close to his feet.

The terrifying thought of it alone sent a deep, freezing chill straight down his spine.

He swallowed hard, trembling as he realized just how truly evil, ruthless, and sadistic Leon was.

To invent such a horrifying, invisible execution method just to eliminate his pursuers was beyond psychotic to him.

The scariest part of the entire situation was that the player now lying in cubed pieces on the floor was an A-rank!

That dead guild member was a elite combatant with massive health, thick armor, and very high agility.

Yet, he had been instantly sliced into a hundred neat little boxes without even having the time to scream or draw his weapon.

This meant Leon had just casually killed an A-rank player without moving a single muscle!

He hadn’t even looked at the man, yet the high-level hunter was completely butchered in less than a second.

To the surviving Roaring Lions guild members, Leon looked like an unstoppable, demonic monster playing with his prey.

Leon slowly sat up from the floor, clutching his bleeding injuries as he looked at their terrified, pale faces.

He saw the utter horror in their eyes and realized the hilarious misunderstanding that was passing through their minds.

He chuckled softly under his breath, a dark and amused smirk spreading across his weary face.

He looked straight at his trembling brother and the surrounding hunters, his eyes flashing with a dangerous glint.

He raised his voice slightly, saying in a mockingly calm tone, "Come on... don’t you want to fight anymore?"

His words echoed loudly through the silent room, sending another wave of pure horror crashing through the remaining players.

None of them dared to take a single step forward, completely paralyzed by the fear of the monstrous trap they believed he had set for them.

A notification suddenly flashed before Leon’s eyes, hovering in the air directly in front of his face.

[Level 49 Player Killed]

[+7000 EXP]

The total EXP he got from the A-rank player was more than two times more than what he had previously received from killing Varis and Larry combined.

That significant numerical difference meant the system simply considered the dead man twice more valuable than those two other B-rank hunters.

The system did not care about the tactical details, evaluating the kill purely based on the raw power and level of the target that had been eliminated.

Leon’s eyes shone with a dangerous, hungry light as he processed the sudden wave of experience points flooding into his interface.

He turned his head slowly towards Teon, locking his eyes onto his father while subtly licking his lips in anticipation.

Teon felt an icy chill run straight down his spine at Leon’s predatory gaze for some reason, his breath catching in his throat.

It felt as though he was being viewed as nothing but a rich buffet for the young man to eagerly consume and level up from.

The utter disregard for his status and the sheer hunger in Leon’s eyes completely shattered what little composure Teon had left.

He shouted in pure rage and desperation, "You bastard!! Don’t you dare think about it!"

His voice cracked under the intense pressure, his mind snapping as he realized Leon truly intended to slaughter every last one of them for power.

He slammed his palm down onto the concrete floor with violent force, pouring his remaining mana reserves directly into the ground beneath him.

Immediately, a massive red magic circle was drawn around the entire headquarters building, expanding outward in a fraction of a second.

The giant circle glowed ominously with a dark, blood-red radiance, illuminating the outer walls and sending severe vibrations through the structure.

The sudden flash of power caused every player within the guild to immediately turn their heads towards the glowing perimeter in utter shock.

The surrounding guild members gasped as the terrifying magical pressure began to warp the temperature inside the room.

Smaller red sigils rapidly appeared within the primary array, spreading across the floor like a spreading disease.

The secondary runes bore strange, ancient writings and chaotic symbols that pulsed with unstable, dark energy.

The sigils kept forming at a blinding speed, expanding across every inch of the concrete surface until they completely covered the whole floor of the guild.

The entire building seemed to hum and groan under the immense weight of the ancient summoning ritual taking place.

The air grew thick and heavy with the scent of burning sulfur and fresh copper, suffocating anyone who dared to draw a breath.

Teon stood up slowly, his face twisted in a manic, insane expression as the red light reflected off his pale skin.

"You want to see Asura... fine, then I’ll show him to you!"
