Chapter 2103: Crushing Soul and Spirit (I)

Demonic nature soared to the heavens!

Li Hao stood supreme on the battlefield, appearing every inch a demon at the moment. So many beings had died in front of him, but he didn’t even bat an eye.

Endless fresh blood converged upon the young man. The star in front of him grew ever more resplendent with red light, like it was a blood moon reborn.

This was a star forged from blood!

After Long Zhan self detonated, all of the dragon’s dao strength, flesh and blood, spirit, and chaos origin he’d devoured had gone into the star. The star ballooned at a pace visible to the naked eye! It now possessed foundations crafted from a true premier heavyweight of body dao!

The panting Disorder sighed, then cackled, “Do you see that? Take a damn good look and see who’s the real demon of the chaos. Who is the source of all its troubles?! Is it me??

“I’ve completely wasted my efforts in cultivating the dao of disorder, I should’ve given it to Li Hao instead, hahaha!!”

He threw his head back with laughter!

Some people threw the chaos into confusion by the simple virtue of them existing. They didn’t need to walk the path of disorder. Such was the demon of an era of upheaval!

Long Zhan was dead and almost all chaos beast powerhouses were dead with him. Not only that, but a large number of ninth rank dao master replicas had fallen. Many of the heavyweights from their worlds had been dispatched, as had Yuan Shuo and the eighth ranks from Chaos Sky major world...

The number of eighth ranks that’d died here today were in the double digits and steadily rising. In the past one million years, Li Hao had something to do with almost all of the eighth ranks that’d died. While one wouldn’t go so far as to say that he was the cause of all eighth rank deaths, ninety-nine percent of them were dead because of him!

Can you guys still not see who’s more dangerous??

Is it me?!

A mulish bent curved Disorder’s lips downward. I’m really not as brutal as him, alright?? Brothers, get your heads out of your asses and take a good look!

Li Hao smiled bashfully and pulled out his old lines. “You praise me far too highly, I’m a good person! I uphold justice... Mmhmm, I safeguard humanity!”

A ringing silence echoed after his response!

The entire battlefield seemed to be disgusted by his declaration. This damned animal was seriously the forefather of berserk madness! How blind had the first generation of time been to choose him??

At the same time, they had to admit that Li Hao might have been the best choice. He was stirring up the entire chaos by himself alone!

The young man cast his gaze into the distance and smiled when he saw the faint outline of someone. You’re still alive!

It’s about time we settled the debts between us, Red Moon. This is perfect, I was just thinking that I’m in a bit of trouble with how much of a demonic nature I have right now. The dao of desire is proving hard to keep down. Since you’ve shown yourself, let me... send you on your way!

It’s well worth it that a mere eighth rank has survived to the present!

With this establishment of a new chaos, everything that affects me, whether positively or negatively, will be wiped clean. I’m starting anew!

In that case, there needs to be a spirit to absorb all of this. Being a cultivator of desire, Red Moon is perfect for this!

It was well worth it to let you live until now.

Li Hao smiled radiantly and drew everyone’s eyes when he vanished. A collective sigh of relief passed through the crowd when he reappeared in front of a weak cultivator. The damned kid better not get up to anything else now!

Everyone wanted to kill him, but they were also afraid of truly killing him. It was a very complicated mix of emotions!

Since the young man wasn’t up to any new antics and looked like he just wanted to target an eighth rank, he could do whatever he wanted. That eighth rank was incredibly weak. Even a gravely injured Li Hao would be able to take him down.

......

Red Moon was already pale with fright. More color drained from his face when Li Hao appeared in front of him. He struggled with a pit of despair since it looked like whoever he threw his lot in with always ended up dying. Li Hao was forcing him into the abyss step by step!

It was like what he’d done with Ying Hongyue back in the day. That one had ultimately died drowning in despair.

“The name Red Moon... doesn’t sound nice!” Li Hao chuckled. “It’s the same as one of my enemies, so I hate it. Red Moon, everything stems from when your world invaded New Martial. Karma has come back around for you. So I’d like to ask... why did you insist on invading New Martial?”

Red Moon’s face was completely devoid of all color. He lost all hope as he looked at Li Hao in front of him, no thought of defiance entered his mind. He even hunched in on himself as his emotional state started breaking down.

“Why did I invade? How would I know?! It was the Sun God who kicked down my front door first. Why don’t you ask him?? You ask me?! I was just striking back! Why have I become the sinner who’s caused the collapse of the chaos??”

How ludicrous!

It’s you guys who attacked me first!

That was right, it was the Sun God who came calling first, then New Martial who made trouble after he defeated the Sun God. That kicked off the enormous conflict that embroiled the two sides.

Why can you guys proclaim such innocence, yet I become the guilty one?!

Li Hao blinked, then nodded with understanding. “I see... this is definitely complicated!” His smile deepened. Perhaps it also had something to do with the future. The Sun God had a relationship with that one, after all.

“Maybe... you’ll be able to meet the one behind the curtain who made life so bleak for you...” The young man gently stabbed his sword forward!

Red Moon didn’t offer any resistance and permitted the longsword to pierce his body. There was only relief in his eyes. This was just as well!

Even Long Zhan is dead, what am I worth compared to him? Death is fine! I’m free!

Boom!

His physical body exploded and all spirit dissipated. Li Hao’s longsword devoured everything.

He’d now eliminated all of his enemies in the four regions. Long Zhan had fallen, along with Feng Yan and all of the powerhouses among the chaos beasts.

Red Moon was dead too now.

Li Hao had no more enemies from the four regions.

......

The blood-red star grew increasingly resplendent. With the death of Red Moon, there was almost no one who stood in Li Hao’s way anymore. The ninth ranks, Chaos Sky, and Spring Autumn... were not actually his enemies. There were no grudges between them. It was just a clash of ideologies between them.

In Li Hao’s eyes, life and death were par for the course in the struggle of attaining dao. There was no hate or enmity to speak of, just the size of one’s fists.

The young man turned to look at Disorder. The latter had killed many ninth rank replicas and eighth ranks, growing stronger in battle as he fought. He looked like he was dominating the battlefield, a clear sign of just how strong the primary body of a ninth rank equipped with the power of time was.

Li Hao however, sighed to himself.

Time!

It was the pitfall of too many. He’d also been lost in the intoxicating strength of time when he first encountered it. It was all-encompassing and impossible to regain one’s senses. He’d utilized time to triumph over many enemies, but the price for that was walking the cycle of life and death four times!

If it wasn’t for the cycle of life and death, Li Hao would’ve long died within the dao of time.

You’re not young, Disorder! You guys were ninth ranks one million years ago, how old are you now?? Whatever age you are, you’re not young!

You keep utilizing the abilities of time and you’re invincible for it. You cut down ninth rank after ninth rank, but is your lifespan really infinite?

Disorder was utilizing time at nearly the eighth rank level. That resulted in too much resource depletion for each instance.

In reality, Disorder didn’t sense much of the effects. Only those who’d likewise utilized time before understood how it felt like one was immortal when immersed in the river of time.

When Li Hao utilized the dao for simple matters in the beginning of his path, he’d depleted his lifespan again and again. That propelled him to the end of his life.

Can you reverse life and death, Disorder?

If you can’t, how long can you keep fighting like this?

How long is a ninth rank’s lifespan? Two million years? Three million? Or even longer?

Time is sealing off the void and helping you demolish the ninth rank replicas. You do appear to be ferocious and unstoppable, but haven’t you noticed that your hair’s gone white?

How many people out there can stand against the temptation of time?

Li Hao hadn’t been able to. He’d employed time again and again in the beginning, traveling to the past repeatedly...

When had he realized the truth of the situation?

After he died a few times!

It was after his lifespan was nearly cut in half, his memories erased, and his emotions dulled. He only understood how time had lured him deep into the abyss when he had nearly no desires and motivation.

Someone as strong as the Human King hadn’t dared to accept the dao of time, because he knew that he could not stand against its temptation. His greatest strength lay in one point—he refused the dao of time!

I know that I can’t avoid its temptation, so I don’t want it.

Li Hao hadn’t had the luxury of that choice at first, but he later on awoke to the true nature of this dao and didn’t want it anymore. That was why Disorder wielded it today. This was likely the most glorious moment of his entire life!

There were more than two dozen ninth rank replicas and more than a dozen eighth ranks in the field. Apart from those that Long Zhan had killed, Disorder had dispatched eight of the rest!

This kind of peak form surpassed when he ascended to ninth rank!

“Hahahaha!” Disorder executed another ninth rank replica with a loud bark of laughter. He panted to catch his breath, having never felt more mighty in his life.

He was unmatched!

So many people were mobbing him, all of them arrogantly strong in regular times. Although he faced only their replicas, these beings still represented the primary bodies.

And he was cutting down all of them!

There were so many that they could kill a real ninth rank, but they were the ones dwindling in number instead as he wiped them out!

Time was so strong!

He couldn’t use too much, but just two methods were sufficient.

One, he froze time.

Two, he traveled through the river of time.

The first prevented his enemies from moving and the second increased his speed to an utmost.

So it was this easy to kill powerhouses! Disorder finally understood why Li Hao remained undefeated through so many conflicts. Who could stand against him with these abilities at his disposal?

He could instantly eliminate anyone of the same level!
