Spring Autumn broke through the worlds, seasons withered and flourished. The dao master of life and death had based his replica off the reincarnation of life and death, but these two daos did not currently live up to the daos of withering and flourishing.

Spirits of life and death were instantly smashed through and withered away.

Spring Autumn hadn’t thought of gaining anything from this venture, but she was equally happy that a bounty of life force had delivered itself to her doorstep.

“Fellow Daoist Spring Autumn, just absorb life energy,” Li Hao suddenly called out. “Too much death qi is detrimental to you. It’s better for you to leave it and let it disperse naturally...”

Spring Autumn turned to look at Li Hao. She did indeed only need life energy, but why should death energy go to him? What he meant as natural dissipation was absorption by his dao stars...

Li Hao’s smile was also making her wary. After some thought, she decided to let the death energy fade away as it would.

Whatever! You can have it! I just need enough life energy.

They’d occupied first mover advantage, whereas Long Zhan’s body was starting to fall apart. Large quantities of blood sprayed in all directions and all of chaos dao shook violently from the deaths of the ninth rank replicas.

Long Zhan heaved for breath, completely covered in wounds. There was a ninth rank replica in front of him, one with dao strength leaking out of him.

Long Zhan stood proudly in the void like a primordial giant. He gazed into the distance, at where the grisly wails of the chaos beasts were dying down. Almost all of his powerhouses had been slain!

The dragon laughed grimly. Will we meet again after this?

I don’t know.

He surveyed the surroundings, taking in how the battlefield was dyed with blood after more heavyweights joined the battle.

Long Zhan then turned back to look at Li Hao.

The star in front of the young man was much more massive than before. That was promising. However, it also looked a bit ominous since it was stained with a large amount of red.

Li Hao looked back at the dragon. Long Zhan was swaying on his feet. He’d killed four replicas by himself. And clearly, the last one in front of him was also in his sights.

Meanwhile, Disorder had only killed three replicas, yet he was a bonafide ninth rank. Of course, there were more people mobbing him.

However, he wouldn’t have been able to take down three if he didn’t have the power of time to call upon.

“Li Hao!” Long Zhan’s voice rang from the bottom of Li Hao’s heart. “Will you... interfere with the development of the new worlds?”

“I will not!” The young man shook his head at the dragon. He would not be involved at all, not even if changes occurred in the future and the one who emerged was not the one he knew. That was fine too. It didn’t matter who came out, even if the final victor was Long Zhan’s spirit.

So what of it?

At the same time, it would be very hard for Long Zhan to be the ultimate one.

There were certain things that Li Hao hadn’t gone into detail about. Most of those who’d fall in battle here were humans, for one. And whether it was the myriad daos or supernatural characters, they were all his, for another.

That also included the power of time. It was a human creation. Perhaps the spirits of these powerhouses might have some advantages at first, being part of the new chaos. But in the later stages... the current state of the chaos was bound to be recreated in the new chaos.

Humanity would occupy the upper hand once more. However, that was a story for another time.

It wasn’t out of the question that the chaos beasts took center stage if they were heaven defying enough. That was also true. Yet if Long Zhan couldn’t overpower the person from the future, he would have to bow his head to fate all the same!

Long Zhan laughed and didn’t ask or say anything. He simply looked at the heavyweight in front of him. Multiple eighth ranks had gathered behind the ninth rank replica. They came from the ninth rank’s ancient world and had arrived through Skyward’s passageway.

This meant that the dragon was no longer just facing a ninth rank replica, but three eighth ranks as well! It was one against four again!

The three eighth ranks were immensely agitated and also furious. “Dao master!”

The ninth rank cultivated the dao of devouring.

“Long Zhan, you little worm!” He gnashed his teeth. “You are entirely too brazen! After we kill you today, my world will feast on dragon liver and phoenix gallbladder! Not a single dragon will be left alive in the chaos!”

All dragons would be executed! All of them!

Even dragons that were monster spirits would be no exception!

The dao master of devouring was not a weakling among ninth ranks, but he was in an absolutely pathetic state today. He’d almost lost his replica. It was only thanks to the arrival of powerhouses from his worlds that his replica was still alive.

And yet, losing face in front of his subordinates enraged him even further!

How much battle strength do you have left, Long Zhan?? Do you have anything left in the tank after killing four ninth rank replicas and fighting Li Hao for so long?!

“Devouring?” Long Zhan smirked. That was a decent dao.

He was indeed on the verge of death from his injuries and clearly could not face the increased number of opponents. Despite not being able to kill them all, Long Zhan laughed. “What a bunch of pitiful fools. Aren’t you here to protect Li Hao? I’d like to see if you guys end up regretting your actions!”

A dragon howl echoed through the void!

“I, Long Zhan, have failed, but my race will not be exterminated because of my failure! We still have a chance!” He gave full voice to his boiling rage and bitterness!

The dragon roared with laughter as he didn’t even know who to hate.

I have no idea who I should resent. Perhaps... I should detest the prejudice of fate!

BOOM!

An overwhelming explosion rang through the western region and echoed through every iota of its void. Boundless blood qi detonated!

A massive dragon rose into the air, its golden shadow blotting out the skies and sun. This was the first powerhouse to really die in the field today. Those who’d died before this were just replicas. Apart from a few weak eighth ranks, he was the real heavyweight falling in battle...

Self detonation!

Chaos dao itself seemed to be collapsing.

The golden dragon followed the collapsing dao upward, racing toward its end and slamming into it. He even bounced off some of the ninth rank dao spirits that were present!

It took only a moment for Long Zhan’s soul to reach the true center of the chaos. And then...

Li Hao’s jaw dropped as the dragon bit down on something that looked like a heart.

The source of the chaos!

Long Zhan’s soul seemed to be smiling. The entire chaos flinched with pain and the ninth ranks were stunned speechless. Everyone on Disorder’s side jumped with surprise.

The dragon that carried the spirit of the chaos had self detonated. His soul carried the spirit of the chaos through the defenses around the origin of the chaos!

He’d then tore a piece off the origin of the chaos and swallowed it. This gave his soul the appearance of revitalizing... an extremely dense life force seemed ready to resurrect him.

Long Zhan’s laughter traveled through the worlds!

A dragon croon built and chaos dao shook once more. The dragon soul traveled down it, exploding again when it landed!

No one understood what’d just happened, but Li Hao did!

Damn, Long Zhan! He used his soul to devour a part of chaos origin. It looks like he’s determined to rise in the new chaos. Having devoured the strength of chaos origin, if he can gather spirit again and be reborn... he might actually be able to do it!

Meanwhile, the dao master of devouring across the way was quite badly off.

The explosion had thrown him off balance. It was only the blink of an eye, but two of the newly arrived eighth ranks were obliterated. Their great dao crumbled away and they died!

The remaining one was heavily injured and coughing up blood. The dao master’s replica also swiftly collapsed. Thankfully, the explosion didn’t continue for a long period of time. He just managed to pull himself back together.

When the dao master of devouring coughed, he didn’t spit out blood. Instead, he spat out dao strength! The man ground his teeth, extremely enraged.

Who would’ve thought that the worm would be so valiant in his final moments?! He’d blown up two eighth ranks of the Devouring major world!! Damn it!

Thank goodness he was dead.

However, chaos dao was shaking more violently than before. It looked like it was out of the question for their primary bodies to return this time.

But that didn’t matter, did it? This fellow was dead, so his mission was complete.

And that was when a piercing pain stabbed his chest!

The dao master of devouring’s jaw sagged and he tilted his head. Li Hao had strode leisurely through the void and stabbed his sword into the core of the man’s great dao. He immediately destroyed the dao of devouring.

Li Hao sighed and didn’t bother to look at his handiwork. This was just a replica and nothing to pay attention to!

He withdrew his sword and swung it forward, pulverizing the eighth rank who was coughing up blood. The star in his hand devoured all of the man’s life force.

“Long Zhan... was born in the wrong era!” Li Hao sighed as he watched the explosion ripple through the void. This was the only sentiment he could offer.

Long Zhan really was very talented and very strong. He was a hero to the chaos beasts. But given when he was born, it was too hard for chaos beasts to rise in an age that’d completely declined. He also didn’t have the best schemes. Therefore, what good was pure martial might for?

He needed better brains!

It wouldn’t work to only have tyranny and a strong body. The chaos beasts also lacked this spark. Although Long Zhan wished to imitate humans and learn human wisdom... he didn’t seem to have succeeded.

The dragon had self detonated!

This drew the glances of everyone in the battlefield. They looked over in time to see Li Hao kill the ninth rank replica with one blow and then the eighth rank with another.

Even Skyward scowled at the sight. “Li Hao!”

I sent people to protect you when Long Zhan wanted to kill you. Now that Long Zhan is dead, you turn around and kill them without skipping a beat. No one can match you in terms of viciousness!

He turned on people faster than could be imagined!

Even if we’re enemies, we’re helping you establish your chaos right now! How could you kill them?! You’re an animal worse than Long Zhan!

You don’t even measure up to chaos beasts!

“He seriously changes his mind faster than me...” mumbled the Human King. “Even I say a few words before throwing everything away. You do it without saying a word!”

So fast!

Shouldn’t you taunt them with a word or two, such as “all you guys wanna do is kill me...”

But no, you just started killing!
