As expected, Skyward’s replica roared new instructions after he heard Long Zhan’s threat. “Send some people to protect Li Hao. The rest of us focus on Disorder! You may not kill him, Long Zhan! If you do, we will annihilate your entire race!”

The dragon blinked and roared with outrage, “So what if time fully disperses with his death?!”

“Fuck you, stupid worm!” screamed the ninth ranks.

We’ll no longer be able to return if time disperses! What does an animal like you understand?!

Three figures sped for Long Zhan, shaking the void with their presences. If the chaos beast dared kill Li Hao, they would exterminate his race!

Li Hao was now missing half of his body, but he backed away without any hurry. He grinned radiantly, a grin that looked extremely evil.

That’s right. You guys aren’t afraid when I control it. But what about Disorder?

You’re afraid if he controls time, yeah? All of you are afraid!

What it comes down to is that you guys don’t have that many reservations about me because I don’t have enough strength. Yet if Disorder does... that will be a nice show to watch!

The young man cast a glance at Long Zhan out of the corner of his eye. His grin widened maliciously. C’mon, kill me!

Skyward was busy rushing Disorder when he looked back and saw the smile on Li Hao’s face.

...we have to figure out a way to kill that guy too!

Even if we help him establish his chaos today, there needs to be another generation cultivator of time. It doesn’t matter who, so long as it’s not Li Hao or Disorder. No ninth rank either. Anyone else is acceptable.

Li Hao must die!

The young man seemed to see Skyward and waved what remained of his arm at the ninth rank. His smile widened.

Across the way, fury blazed in Long Zhan’s eyes. He could no longer contain himself and shot toward Li Hao. He was going to kill Li Hao no matter what. It was best if time was fully extinguished as well!

He was afraid!

A Li Hao in this state really did frighten him.

The dragon ignored the three heavyweights behind him. Li Hao must die today, no matter what!

At least, not Disorder.

First the ninth rank’s spirit of disorder was revitalized, so that he regained his battle strength. Then he gathered the strength of time, but no one would dare let a veteran ninth rank wield time.

They could exercise full control over a newly born master of time, but a veteran ninth rank?

They knew each other all too well.

Everyone was aware of the plots against time. Therefore, any schemes were bound to fail. But if Disorder was the owner of time, he had the ability to upend the chessboard. Li Hao, at present, did not.

When Chaos Sky asked why Li Hao did not discuss his plans with him, what was there for the young man to discuss? Was Chaos Sky a ninth rank?

He was strong, but this strength was predicated on the absence of ninth ranks in full. It didn’t represent that Chaos Sky could actually kill ninth ranks, and it didn’t meant that he was assured of setting foot into ninth rank.

Disorder was the only one hundred percent certain, bonafide ninth rank on the scene. He knew Skyward and the rest of them very well. In the same vein, Skyward and the other ninth ranks knew him quite well.

Since everyone thinks Li Hao isn’t suited and he’s given it to me, then I am incredibly suited for it! Just give it to me!

Skyward and the rest watched on coldly. Anyone can have it but you.

You are a ninth rank with disorder as your core. Creating disturbance and upheaval is your core nature, that’s one reason. With order now collapsing, that lifts the restraints on disorder. That makes you an inherent threat.

Not to mention, are you going to spare any of us once you master time?

Since you won’t be, why should we let you succeed?

“Don’t be your own greatest hindrance, Disorder,” Skyward declared sternly. “You’ve taken a wrong turn for something you can’t have, and are ruining the relationships that we’ve cultivation for a million years!

“Cripple time yourself and send it back to Li Hao. Otherwise... you will die here today!”

Skyward’s replica shot through the void. His was strong enough and it spontaneously disappeared.

The other ninth ranks also called upon their abilities. Although they were just replicas and thus, less than Disorder in single combat, they were still ninth rank replicas that wielded their own daos. There was strength in numbers, so they quickly surrounded Disorder.

Thunder and lightning appeared in the void. That came from Calamity.

The five elements surfaced in the surroundings, coming together like a cage. That came from the dao master of the five elements.

A millstone of yin and yang surfaced, threatening to grind heaven and earth. It came from the dao master of yin and yang.

Light and darkness sparkled, making the surroundings day one second and night the next. That was the dao master of light and darkness.

The ninth rank replicas looked on coldly. Disorder, you weren’t that strong to begin with because you ascended with only one dao. It was hard enough for you to reach ninth rank. Why desire more?

A million thoughts were also running through Disorder’s mind. He’d thought about giving up as well, he wasn’t someone who couldn’t bear to set things aside. After all, he’d given up on the spirit of disorder prior to this just so he could escape.

But now, despite knowing that he’d fallen into Li Hao’s trap, he still chose to hang on. He grit his teeth as a violent light dawned in his eyes. I knew this was a trap, one that I’m supposed to take the fall for.

But I’m... perfectly happy to do so!

Only after entering ninth rank does one understand that even ninth rank isn’t the most apex existence. I still have no place at the table.

Only when I control time do I have the hope of suppressing Skyward and his cronies.

“Everyone has the right to grow stronger!” Disorder yelled. “You guys are just replicas, you can’t possibly stop me! This seat will master time today! You won’t have an easy time of things even if I fall in battle here!”

He was going to put everything on the line!

“Stubborn as a donkey!” The displeased Skyward vanished. His frosty tone traveled out of thin air. “He’s succumbed to the temptation of time. Everyone, smash his dao and wake him up a bit!”

A great battle immediately erupted.

Disorder was here with his primary body, after all, and had recovered most of his spirit. The local region’s order was collapsing, which meant he was in ascendancy. Disorder was stronger than he’d ever been.

It was hard to break through Skyward’s method of traveling through space. Disorder wouldn’t have stood a chance if Skyward’s primary body had been here.

But in the end, a replica was just a replica.

Although Li Hao and the others had difficulty last time, that didn’t mean Disorder would have the same trouble. The man made the void vibrate with a punch. A myriad of daos snaked through the air, sealing off every possible bit of space.

The void shattered with a crack, forcing out a frowning Skyward.

indeed, a ninth rank was a ninth rank in the end. Disorder was different from the eighth ranks. They’d also descended in a great hurry this time, which meant they were weaker than their last replicas.

“Have your Nine Layer Guards retreat!” Fang Ping grinned brilliantly. “I’m not interested in chopping at you anymore. How about it?”

Chaos Sky’s eyes narrowed viciously, but he didn’t say anything. Clearly... the Human King didn’t want to retreat yet.
