Chapter 1872: A Sinful Empire
Nathan looked at the tablet.
Suddenly, Zeta’s avatar appeared in the corner of the screen. It was small enough that it didn’t feel evasive, and it was made to look cute.
"Welcome, human god. This is Zeta. I will be assisting you in going through everything. If you wish to deactivate me, you can just say it. You may also create your own independent unit to assist you on this tour. Your own maid."
Nathan nodded while looking at the interface. It looked similar to his smartphone, but it was more compact and stylish.
He was quite curious about it, so he opened the application Zeta recommended.
It was to create an android similar to Zeta, but with her own preferences. Nathan could see a lot of specifications from basic information such as name or even age.
The physiques could also be changed in a way that suited him. Personality or even voice could be picked.
It felt like he was creating a human being.
Since it was just to satisfy his curiosity, he started creating one. It was something he wanted to do back on Earth. After all, there was not yet an android on Earth.
However, Nathan actually stumbled to the other three important sections. The first section would be combat.
It had the options from the strength of the parts to its build. He tried to maximize everything, but focused on a few things.
There was also a weapon section, which could be hidden in its body.
The second section was its specialization. For a maid like Zeta, it specialized in aiding the fleet. It could do some combat, but it didn’t have the authorization to control the spaceship.
Depending on the specialization, different kinds of knowledge and memory would be inserted.
The third section was actually the sexual option. Yes, it even offered comfort.
’I wonder why there are still men here, but I guess humans still need this rather than androids...’
A few minutes later, Nathan put down the tablet and shook his head helplessly. ’What a sinful empire.’
’If there were a company that provided this kind of service on Earth, we would definitely have a lot of issues with the birth rate.
’Not only does the android have your own preferences from physiques to characters, but it will also have any comfort that you prefer. Hell, even I want one if there’s something like this on Earth. No wonder those characters in science fiction want one. I would say it’s not complete without it.’
Nathan shook his head helplessly, but he didn’t order one. He just wanted to play with it because he was curious.
"Well, I guess I’m done playing around. Let’s search for other things..." Nathan opened other things. "Zeta, I want to take a look at the weapons. Where are they? Or do you want me to search directly?"
"Depend on what kind of weapons you want," Zeta’s avatar replied while opening a tab. "I have divided them into five categories: Personal, Vehicles, Ships, Armor Suits, and Artillery."
"Personal weapons range from high-vibration swords to laser guns. We also offer combat suits.
"For the vehicles, you can search for commercial flying cars to armored vehicles.
"The third is the ship. There are some small individual spaceships to a battleship. The Armor Suits are more like robots that you can operate. There are also unmanned options.
"Last but not least, the artillery. They are the defense system that is usually for planets, but you can also use it as additional equipment, though not many fleets want them. They are powerful, but they’re easy to destroy as well. Most of the time, they’re placing the artillery as part of the spaceships rather than letting them orbit the spaceships or planets."
"You sure it’s all right for me to see this?"
"There are things that have been classified, but most things you see here can be acquired through legal channels."
"I see." Nathan paused for a moment. "How about books?"
"It can be installed as well. This is the application."
Zeta was showing everything to him. Nathan had gone through a lot of things he could think of.
The books would be quite useful for the girls.
Selena might be able to use blood more efficiently if she had more knowledge about it. Luna could also use the concepts to improve her crafts.
It was definitely something he wanted to get. He knew that this device was being monitored as well, and they would use them as his preference. For now, Nathan didn’t care.
He intended to utilize them. There wasn’t much sensitive information yet, since the most important information was his identity as a god. He hadn’t even mentioned his title.
This world couldn’t imitate his power, so for the time being, Nathan didn’t mind leaving behind a trace that he had gone here in the past.
Besides, it might be useful for Iris when she arrives in this world in the near future.
She would love this place to death. As the goddess of creation, Iris’ power would definitely be something this world desired.
They might be able to form a good relationship.
Nathan spent the rest of the day looking into everything to get general knowledge about the empire.
There was also one thing that he was curious about. With their abilities, they might be able to take a peek into the Great Void.
He wanted to use their telescopes to know the situation out there. And with their technology, they should have marked the galaxy as well. It would be beneficial if he could get their map to know each other’s location.
Of course, he had asked for devices similar to the smartphone for him and the girls. They might be able to use it as short-range communication tools.
Meanwhile, Devonio was gathering the workers to get the devices for Nathan. Nathan didn’t care much whether they were monitored or not. There was always an alternative option: his Soul Contract.
It looked like the trip to the empire would be the most bountiful trip he ever had.
