Lounge privileges, cocktail hour—for guests staying in the presidential suite, these were just icing on the cake.

In reality, the value they provided wasn’t very high.

The complimentary cocktails offered by the hotel were nowhere near enough to satisfy Xu Yun and Old Lin.

They didn’t like them anyway.

The female bartender took a new bottle of brandy from behind her, opened it, and poured a glass for each of them.
