Chapter 355 - How the Supreme Mage Fights with His Fists

Odin is not a nice guy.

Though he seemed like a kindly old man.

A little stubborn, arrogant, arrogant at best.

But that was just the surface.

Odin has lived a long life.

He's had enough of power struggles, brutal killings, years of war, and eventually old age.

Asgard, the chariot, was gradually stopping in its tracks.

That's why he wanted to be a kind, wise and wise monarch.

To leave a good name in the history of future generations.

The existence of the elder serpent Kul, the eldest daughter Hera, were all erased.

Only whitewashed good legends were left to be passed down as a tale.

Few people today would mention how Odin treated his enemies when Asgard was pioneering his territory.

At that time, he was a famous war fanatic among the Nine Realms.

Of course, the scapegoat eventually fell on Hela's head.

It was just like the reason Odin backstabbed his brother was for Asgard, for love and peace.

He always found the right excuse to wash the blood off his hands.

In that respect, Odin did fit the king's criteria.

"As I recall, your reason for rebelling against the serpent Kull was that he was too brutal and unkind and would lead Asgard to the abyss of destruction."

Luke stepped onto the Rainbow Bridge, Heimdall in front of him in a guarded, watchful stance.

"But His Excellency Odin, who replaced him as the new king, doesn't seem to be much better than his own brother."

"Or do you see the lives of other worlds as worthless and only Asgardians as having the right to survive?"

Odin was silent in the face of Luke's cross-examination.

But the complexion lasted only a moment, and then it dissipated.

The inner moral burden was so insignificant compared to Thor's life, and Asgard's survival.

Odin was decisive and did not dwell on it.

He raised his Gungnir and pointed his lance at the too-young Supreme Mage.

"I will not justify my actions, right or wrong, even the presence of the Ancient One here today will not stop the Earth from perishing."

As the most powerful top powerhouse of the Nine Star Regions, Odin was on equal footing with Gu Yi, sitting firmly in the top two seats.

Behind the Supreme Master stood the Vaisan Emperor, and Asgard also had the "Ancient God of the Shadow Lands" as his backing.

When it comes to a fight, Odin reckons it's a 50-50 split, so he has nothing to fear.

Since Gu Yi may not even be able to please in his own place.

His successor, then, was even less qualified.

Thus, the King of Asgard let out a declaration of war.

"Time is running out, the serpent Kull has already recovered, I had thought that I could relocate some of the humans to other worlds to preserve the fire of civilization, but by the time Heimdall became aware of it, it was already too late."

Odin softened his tone, though with a strong stance of "If you want to fight, I'll fight".

But he didn't want to get into too much of a stalemate with the Supreme Mage's department if he didn't have to.

On the one hand, he used force to deter, and on the other hand, he used words to turn the situation around.

It could be said that Odin was playing this set of tactics smartly, worthy of being a king for so long.

"Tsk, Saul see, that's your dad's style of doing things."

Luke didn't appreciate it in the slightest and scoffed, "It's obvious that he's a butcher, but he still wants to comfort himself and deceive others with reasons like being forced to do something."

The sunglasses-wearing Fat House Thor shook his head and said firmly, "My father, the Odin of that universe of mine, would never do that."

Crap!

You're a cinematic universe.

Everything is politically correct.

How could the Earth be destroyed.

Luke laughs and spits silently.

It's just that the comic book universe doesn't have so many scruples, and the superheroes slaughtering the world can be made whole for the sake of sales and gimmicks, under the ego.

"Saul?"

Odin, who was going to yell at him, only then noticed the fat, greasy man standing behind Luke.

The messy hair, the pregnant belly, and the big, round to somewhat deformed face.

It all made Odin wonder if he was mistaken.

How could this be his son!

Strong, powerful, tall, handsome Thor!

"Honestly I don't really want to call Dad at a world-destroying butcher, though you are, in a way, really my father."

Fat House Thor said, scratching his head and shrugging his shoulders.

Odin's bombardment of Earth with rainbow bridges had refreshed his perception.

He had never thought that his father would actually do such a morbid and cold-hearted thing.

Who told Odin that since he was a child, he had instilled in Saul that kings should be kind, wise, and show tolerance and majesty.

It was just a gesture, but it turned out that Saul really listened to it.

That would be a "failure" of parenting!

"Okay, that's the end of the father-son catch-up, Saul, you step back."

Luke rubbed his palms, like a boxer warming up before a match.

He looked up at the clear sky where the clouds had cleared, like a golden palace standing like a mountain peak.

It seemed as if it was regretful.

And then, softly, he said, "Pity."

"Let's go straight back to the hands-on part that I'm more familiar with and you're more used to."

Luke collected the emotions under his eyes and curved his lips.

"If I'm just reasoning with someone, I don't think I'm going to be able to talk my mouth off to get the hallowed God King of the Nine Realms, Odin, to back down and compromise."

"Likewise, there's no way you can use hypocritical excuses to get me to turn around by pressing lights for you and destroy that azure planet together."

"So, simply speak with your fists."

Odin sniffed and took a deep breath.

As if making a decision, his eyes turned indifferent.

He urged the eight-legged divine horse at his hip and gradually flew up into the air.

The large dark clouds surged over again, like rushing waves, wave after wave, obscuring the clear sky and casting terrifying shadows.

Electricity and thunder tore through the pitch-black curtain, sending out lights and noises that shook heaven and earth, as if they were set effects on top of a stage.

"Excuse me."

When the Fat House Thor withdrew far away, Luke took a step forward.

Before Heimdall, who raised his greatsword, attacked, he felt a strong hand, pressing on his head.

And then, there was a violent roar in his ears.

The flying air waves hit the dark face, causing a raw pain.

Heimdall only felt a massive force coming, and his body directly lost control.

Boom!

Asgard's keeper turned into a cannonball and crashed under the Rainbow Bridge in a graceful parabola.

"You're much less polite than the Ancient One."

Odin's eyes were calm, showing no joy or anger.

The Gungnir held in his right hand was haunted by a bright electric light.

The original power of the Rune of Luun surged and boiled, and the entire Asgard trembled slightly, as if responding to Odin's claim.

The heavy pressure squeezed the air, making it nearly suffocating.

Apparently, Luke's actions had aroused Odin's anger.

Boom!

A terrifying thunderstorm as thick as a mountain descended from the sky.

The massive energy alone was enough to crush the steel and grind it into pieces.

The thunder smashed down directly, enveloping Luke who didn't dodge.

The aftermath overflowed and the rainbow bridge shook.

A blaze of intense light erupted, the blazing heat melting gold and iron.

However-

The upright form in which he was placed did not waver.

Luke was expressionless and stretched out his hands.

Fiercely exerting power, he directly tore apart the massive lightning light that was as thick as a mountain peak.

The heavens and earth went silent!

Strands of electric snakes jumped, and the tattered battle suit healed as if it hadn't even broken the skin.

He was a magic superman!

No fear of Odin's Lunar Rune power at all!

"It's my turn."

Luke caught the surprise on the King of Asgard's face and laughed softly.

He flew up into the sky and swung his fist.

Boom! Boom!

The atmospheric bursts instantly overshadowed the sound of the great thunder.

In a split second, Odin's face turned heavy.

He saw the Supreme Venerable Master's fist stirring the wind and clouds, the terrifying force rubbing the air and releasing a dazzling red light.

The moisture in the surroundings was directly evaporated, and the temperature suddenly increased, as if he was in a furnace.

The air currents were soaring, and loud explosions could be heard continuously.

The air was squeezed madly, like substance, sweeping everything away and shattering everything!

The nearby protruding mountain peaks were affected by the wave, immediately crumbling apart and turning into powder.

It was terrifying!

Odin reined in the reins with one hand and swung Gungnir with the other, breaking effortlessly through the oncoming terrible storm.

The eight-legged divine horse on his hip hissed, as if proudly telling of his Heavenly Father's might.

Only, in the next second.

Odin's face changed drastically, no longer steady as before.

"Stop!"

The sound of rage exploded abruptly, shaking Asgard.

The terrifying sound waves held boundless rage, rippling with a layer of fierce waves visible to the naked eye.

It turned out that Luke's fist was not directed at Odin.

He was aiming for the Rainbow Bridge beneath his feet!
