Chapter 2990: The Peculiar Overlapping Space
Su Yang walked inside for a while, and suddenly noticed that the situation inside was rather peculiar.
Overlapping Space is constructed by layering different spaces on top of each other.
However, this Overlapping Space was very strange. No matter how Su Yang walked inside, he always seemed to be walking in the same space.
Although the surrounding scenery was changing rapidly, it was merely a change in position.
It was as if Su Yang had entered a room, and with every step he took, he would appear in a different location within the room. Of course, the situation at each location was different, but regardless of how he walked, he was always within the confines of the room, hence he remained in the same space.
Qi’er and Confuser followed closely by Su Yang’s side, and both gradually became aware that something was amiss with this Overlapping Space.
"Su Alliance Leader, what’s going on here?" Confuser asked in surprise, "Why is it that no matter how we walk, we’re always in the same place?"
"The environment around us hasn’t changed at all, how is this considered an Overlapping Space?"
"Could it be that numerous identical spaces have been layered together?"
Qi’er shook her head, "I don’t think so."
"It feels like we’re trapped in this one space."
"Feel the breath around us, it’s all left behind by us. In other words, we’ve always been in this one space and haven’t walked out at all!"
Confuser was bewildered, "Why is it like this?"
Qi’er spread her hands, unable to discern what exactly was going on, so she could only look at Su Yang in confusion.
Su Yang was also filled with doubt, he had noticed what Qi’er mentioned.
It was said to be Overlapping Space, but they always seemed to be walking in the same space. This feeling was as if there were countless space passages within this space, and whenever they took a step, they would enter a space passage and then appear elsewhere within this space.
However, no matter how they walked, they always remained within the confines of this space, unable to walk out.
Such a situation was unprecedented for Su Yang and the others.
Moreover, it was indeed peculiar.
Clearly feeling the overlapping space, why was the situation inside like this?
Could it be that they themselves perceived it incorrectly?
Amidst the confusion, Su Yang said gravely, "Enough, let’s not waste time here!"
"I’ll break the space and we’ll go out directly."
Qi’er nodded.
Su Yang prepared to shatter this space and lead Qi’er and Confuser out.
However, when he acted, he realized that this space was quite bizarre.
The power he unleashed seemed unable to find purchase, unable to break this space. Instead, this power ran rampant within the space, much like entering a space passage that existed everywhere, constantly traversing within the space.
Su Yang was stunned, never having encountered such a situation.
The force of this strike should have been able to shatter the space, even the space passages shouldn’t be able to withstand this force.
But now, what was this situation?
His power was repeatedly traversing the space passage yet couldn’t crush the space.
Could it be that the strength of this space was so formidable that even his power couldn’t break it?
As he pondered the mystery, Su Yang suddenly sensed a formidable force attacking.
He reacted swiftly, a phantom arising behind him to directly swallow that force.
Qi’er and Confuser had yet to react; fortunately, Su Yang acted in time, otherwise, the two of them would likely have been hit by the force.
"What just happened?" Qi’er asked in astonishment.
Su Yang furrowed his brows tightly, "That was my power!"
"What?" Qi’er looked at Su Yang in disbelief, why would his power attack them?
Su Yang looked around and said deeply, "It’s the power I released to try and shatter this space."
"After wandering in the space for a while, it unexpectedly returned to us, almost striking us!"
Qi’er suddenly understood, "I see!"
"Oh my, this space is truly dangerous."
"Brother Su, trying to break this space might be impossible!"
Su Yang’s brow furrowed tightly, realizing the problem was quite severe.
Under these circumstances, not to mention breaking the space, even casually acting might result in injury from their own power!
Su Yang said gravely, "Let’s see if we can retreat!"
Qi’er nodded, and they followed Su Yang, attempting to walk back, to see if they could leave this place.
However, soon the trio fell into despair.
Because as they returned along the original path, the surroundings were not like what they saw when they first came in. In other words, they couldn’t retreat along the path they came.
Qi’er said deeply, "This space is constantly moving and changing. Trying to return along the original path seems improbable!"
Su Yang nodded, having noticed the situation was off during the retreat.
"Could it be that we are truly trapped in this space?" Confuser said with frustration, unable to believe that such a small Overlapping Space would turn out this way.
Logically speaking, with their strength as the strongest, no space should be able to trap them.
Whenever they wished, they could act to shatter this space and escape; how could they end up in this situation now?
And now, Su Yang and the others couldn’t break this space, truly trapped here, leaving them helpless.
Su Yang and Qi’er also furrowed their brows tightly, never expecting such a situation within this Overlapping Space.
"Why would a space like this appear here?" Qi’er couldn’t help but ask, "Even our power can’t shatter this Overlapping Space, what exactly is going on?"
"Brother Su, could this be a trap set by the Seven Great Heavenly Venerable?"
Su Yang furrowed his brow deeply, not believing it was a trap set by the Seven Great Heavenly Venerable.

Su Yang said deeply, "Let’s not be too anxious. Let’s keep walking and see if we can find another way out!"
Qi’er nodded, leaving Confuser looking desperate, "Su Alliance Leader, if this Overlapping Space is truly so complex, finding another way out is impossible!"
