When the Chaos Gourd fell into the Tai Chi Diagram, an unexpected situation occurred.

Su Yang had originally intended to use the Chaos Gourd to absorb the nutrients in the Tai Chi Diagram, but once it entered, the Chaos Gourd began to melt immediately.

The sensation was as if a block of ice was placed in boiling water, rapidly melting.

Su Yang didn’t even have time to retrieve the Chaos Gourd before it completely melted away, not leaving a trace.

Su Yang was stunned, standing there in confusion, unable to come to his senses for a long time.

Luckily, he had used the Chaos Gourd for the test instead of jumping in himself. Otherwise, he would be the one melting now!

It seems he had underestimated the Tai Chi Diagram; the power within it far exceeded his imagination.

After pondering for a while, Su Yang, still unwilling to give up, took out another Divine Artifact from his body and attempted again. Perhaps it was only the Chaos Gourd that was an exception, and other items might not melt.

The Divine Artifact fell into the Tai Chi Diagram, and this time, Su Yang controlled the speed as much as possible. He intended to retrieve the Divine Artifact at the first sign of trouble.

However, when the Divine Artifact landed on the Tai Chi Diagram, it immediately began to melt. Although Su Yang was quick to act in retrieving it, he found the Divine Artifact refused to move.

Once the Divine Artifact made contact with the Tai Chi Diagram, it completely severed its connection with Su Yang. His power couldn’t affect the Divine Artifact at all.

"What on earth is this?" Su Yang’s face was filled with shock, realizing the issue lay with the Tai Chi Diagram, not the Chaos Gourd.

In other words, anything that fell into the Tai Chi Diagram would melt, not just the Chaos Gourd.

Su Yang furrowed his brows, no wonder the seven coffins used the rhizome of the Chaos Flower to absorb nutrients from the Tai Chi Diagram. It seems only the rhizome of the Chaos Flower could resist melting!

However, the rhizome of the Chaos Flower had disappeared along with the black hole, and Su Yang couldn’t use it even if he wanted to. Does this mean there’s no way for him to interact with the Tai Chi Diagram?

Su Yang was not content and turned his head, his gaze landing on the surrounding forest.

The items he carried couldn’t interact with the Tai Chi Diagram, but perhaps the forest growing near the Tai Chi Diagram could?

Su Yang walked into the forest, searching for anything usable, intending to use these items for testing.

The forest had many broken branches, and Su Yang collected numerous branches and brought them to the pit nearby, one by one tossing them into the pit.

As the branches came into contact with the Tai Chi Diagram, they immediately melted. Every branch did, not a single one lasted a moment.

Su Yang felt a bit discouraged; does this mean even the forest can’t interact with the Tai Chi Diagram? If that’s the case, how could he ever hope to interact with it?

Could it be that only the rhizome of the Chaos Flower can do it?

Su Yang furrowed his brow. The rhizome of the Chaos Flower is controlled by those seven coffins. If so, does this mean he has absolutely no way to interact with the Tai Chi Diagram?

After thinking for a long time, Su Yang ultimately couldn’t come up with a solution and had to reluctantly give up.

However, he wasn’t in a hurry to leave; instead, he wandered around the forest.

In the Chaos, there exists such a place, somewhere he’s never heard of before, which indeed is quite astonishing.

Without a doubt, not even those like the Heaven Slayer knew of this place. So, there must be other secrets hidden here, and Su Yang was curious to find out what.

The forest was extensive, and Su Yang, without rushing, slowly walked through it while carefully observing the trees.

Each tree was as immense as a World Tree, towering and magnificent. As Su Yang ventured deeper into the forest, the trees grew even larger.

After wandering for a while, Su Yang stopped before one colossal tree. Breathing in deeply, he placed his hand on the tree, attempting to shatter it.

However, his power struck the tree without moving it even slightly. The tree trunk was incredibly robust; Su Yang couldn’t shake it despite hitting it with full force.

"What kind of tree is this?" Su Yang muttered, slightly unwilling, deploying the Power of Earth to assault the giant tree.

This time, the tree trembled but remained undamaged.

Su Yang became discouraged immediately; if even the powerful Power of Earth couldn’t shatter the tree, there’s nothing more he could do.

Abandoning the idea, Su Yang continued onward.

After a while, Su Yang suddenly noticed the scene ahead had changed.

The once lush and green giant trees now had some dead and withered old trees appearing.

These withered trees lacked any green leaves, leaving almost nothing of their branches, standing like dying elders on the open ground.

In the large area ahead, all the trees were like this, entirely dead, starkly contrasting with the previous scenes.

Su Yang looked puzzled; what exactly was going on? Why is one-half of the forest green and the other half withered? What had these dead trees experienced?

If it were just one or two withered trees, that might be understandable. After all, in a vast forest, it’s hard to find no dead trees.

But the problem is, in such a vast area, one half is green trees, and the other half is withered. Moreover, the delineation between green and withered trees is so stark, it’s baffling.

Could it be that some calamity struck the other half of the forest, causing all the trees to die?

But these towering trees, even the Power of Earth couldn’t shatter them. What kind of calamity could cause these towering trees to wither?

Su Yang was astonished; entering this area, he felt many of his previous understandings had been altered.

The incredibly vast Tai Chi Diagram, the forest half of green and half of withered trees, the black hole where Chaos Flower grew, all appeared so peculiar, full of secrets. Yet Su Yang had never heard of it and had no idea how to unravel these mysteries.

Helplessly shaking his head, Su Yang continued forward. He was prepared to explore that withered forest and see if he could make any special discoveries.

The withered forest was as extensive as the green forest.

Walking through it, Su Yang inexplicably felt a sense of desolation, as if he could sense the unwillingness of the withered trees before they died.

As he pondered, Su Yang unknowingly passed a giant tree and suddenly sensed an extremely familiar aura emanating from it, stopping him in his tracks.
