Supreme Warrior in the City

The Demon Lord couldn’t help but smile; he could naturally discern that the person inside the vortex was already struggling.

Though it’s only half of the Heavenly Dao Stone Tablet, it comprises the essence of the Heavenly Dao. Alone, the Human Emperor can suppress it before the awakening of the essence. However, once the essence awakens, he won’t be able to restrain it!

"Well, let’s make this quick and avoid wasting time," said the Demon Lord, stepping into the vortex.

"I have no objections to that!" the voice of the Human Emperor echoed.

A group of Sky Warriors stood outside the vortex, watching as the vortex became increasingly intense. The formidable power left these Sky Warriors with pounding hearts.

The power of this vortex, if it entangled anyone, would be enough to utterly obliterate them, never to be reborn. This is the power of the Heavenly Dao’s essence!

Only the Supreme Power can freely enter the vortex and battle it.

After an indeterminate amount of time, the vortex finally began to calm down.

At that moment, high above the Heaven-Reaching Giant Tree, a woman in fiery red attire emerged.

The woman’s face was otherworldly beautiful, enough to make anyone forget all other women in the world at a glance.

As the group of Sky Warriors saw the woman, their hearts surged with excitement, and they bowed down in reverence: "Welcome, Mistress!"

This woman was none other than the Mistress of Feather Spirit Palace, who was once Qi’er.

Upon reappearing, Qi’er was even more ethereal and transcendent than before. Restored to her identity as the Mistress of Feather Spirit Palace, her former prowess also returned; she was now the exalted and untouchable Mistress!

Whether it was the Ancient Sky Warrior or the Ancient Heaven Warriors, they all held Qi’er in deep respect.

The Ancient Heaven Warriors need not be mentioned. Qi’er was their leader and one of the Supreme Powers. Her Feather Spirit Palace sheltered many warriors during ancient times, saving many, which gave her unparalleled prestige, even rivaling the Heaven Slayer. Her affinity was even greater than that of the Heaven Slayer.

As for the Ancient Sky Warriors, there’s even less to say. Qi’er was the daughter of the Human Emperor, and his lineage of warriors revered her deeply. Naturally, the other Ancient Sky Warriors, who respected the Human Emperor, also revered this Princess!

Qi’er approached the vortex, accompanied by two tiny, lively creatures.

If Su Yang were present, he would recognize them immediately. One was the Little Grey Bird who had followed Qi’er, and the other was the Little Chick who had been with Su Yang for a long time.

Of course, these two little beings were not simple in strength. Somehow, Qi’er had enabled them to reach the Heavenly Level.

Qi’er stood quietly outside the vortex, watching the events within.

After a while, a muffled cry emerged from the vortex, followed by a black stone tablet shooting out, reaching towards the sky.

Qi’er furrowed her brow and was about to intervene when the Human Emperor’s voice stopped her: "Don’t stop it. The essence of the Heavenly Dao isn’t fully restored. If we forcibly keep it here, it might attract the Heavenly Venerable, and it’s unnecessary to escalate things now!"

Qi’er nodded and refrained from intervening, allowing the half Heavenly Dao Stone Tablet to fly away.

She knew the time for the final battle wasn’t now. They had to wait until Su Yang ascended to a Supreme Power; that would be when they would confront the Guardian God!

Yet, before the black stone tablet could escape the sky, an illusion appeared in the void, quickly expanding into an enormous figure that covered the heavens.

The black stone tablet seemed intimidated by the figure and turned, attempting to flee from the figure’s range. However, the illusion was too vast, and the black stone tablet couldn’t escape, becoming enveloped by the figure.

The black stone tablet frantically crashed around within the illusion, trying to break out.

Undoubtedly, the Heavenly Dao Stone Tablet possessed formidable strength, causing the illusion to tremble.

But then, a person wielding a Heaven-Slaying Blade appeared within the illusion.

"It’s the Heaven Slayer!" Qi’er exclaimed softly, with the Human Emperor and the Demon Lord gazing intently at the sky.

The Heaven Slayer, wielding the Heaven-Slaying Blade, quickly charged at the Heavenly Dao Stone Tablet.

Feeling the threat, the Heavenly Dao Stone Tablet simultaneously emitted powerful beams of light to hinder the Heaven Slayer.

These beams were extremely powerful, drawing on the Heavenly Dao’s power, enough to overwhelm any Sky Warriors.

The Heaven Slayer shattered each light beam with the Heaven-Slaying Blade, speeding forward without slowing down, reaching the Heavenly Dao Stone Tablet in the blink of an eye.

The Heavenly Dao Stone Tablet immediately retreated, but it was too late; the Heaven Slayer lifted the Heaven-Slaying Blade, delivering a heavy slash.

As the blade was about to strike the stone tablet, a roar came from the distant heavens: "Heaven Slayer, how dare you!"

Before the voice faded, a person appeared in the illusion, attacking the Heaven Slayer from behind.

"The esteemed Light Lord resorting to such underhanded tactics, how disgraceful," the Demon Lord roared, charging forward to intercept him.

However, seven other figures appeared in the illusion, each targeting the Heaven Slayer.

Qi’er and the Human Emperor refused to yield, rushing into the illusion to block them.

Yet, the Human Clan’s Supreme Powers were still too few. Two Guardian Gods, among the Supreme Powers, quickly reached the Heavenly Dao Stone Tablet, stopping the Heaven Slayer.

They were slightly late, for the Heaven Slayer had already etched a long mark on the Heavenly Dao Stone Tablet with the Heaven-Slaying Blade, nearly cleaving it in two.

Ultimately, the Guardian Gods managed to save the Heavenly Dao Stone Tablet, and the other Supreme Powers showed no interest in further battle, immediately leaving with the stone tablet.

The Heaven Slayer staggered slightly, inhaling deeply, swiftly retracting the illusion back to himself.

Earlier, the Heaven Slayer had battled the Heavenly Dao Stone Tablet alone, enduring tremendous pressure. After all, it was the embodiment of the Heavenly Dao Will, condensed with the power of the Heavenly Dao, beyond ordinary resistance.

Even though it was only half the Heavenly Dao Stone Tablet, its power was terrifying. The Heaven Slayer’s relentless pursuit was due to his illusion suppressing the stone tablet.

This suppression, however, consumed substantial power, and it wasn’t easy for the Heaven Slayer to sustain it for so long!
