Sword of Glutton Princess

Lesson Twenty-eight: Adventurer Gumdon

"Is this it?"

Haydal brought me here in an old building, behind an unpopular alley.

Something like a shop sign is placed on the wall.

I suppose this sign was originally hung on the door, but it seemed to have been a long time since it was removed.

The sign was stripped of paint and I didn't know what it said.

"Oh, in an old tavern. Now, once in a while, there's just enough old fashioned facial acquaintances to drink in the inner circle."

... and this time, stealing the eyes of the army and the adventurer was to be used to hold the rally, you mean?

I turned my eyes to Edda, who was growing dear like the cat beast Nyalm, who borrowed behind me, and urged me to move on.

Edda approaches my back in silence.

"... there's a lot of people inside, are you okay, red-eyed lady"

I guess Heydal was the word to guide Edda's acquaintance, but Edda had a blatant expression for it.

Edda pokes me in the arm with her elbow and comes whispering.

"Don't make me look too stupid. I was just wary because it's a little unfamiliar street... and tell the guy there Dean"

... Why are you telling me that?

"You, hey, Mr. Haydall, you're not good at this?

"I'm faceless, you must know me. It would be strange to say that back from me."

"No, they're telling you."

Mr. Haydal stood in front of the door cutting ahead with a bitter smile, knocking.

"It's me. About two people let me bring in a credible adventurer"

A magnificent, seemingly unfortunate man emerges from the door.

The man exhales like he was dismayed when he saw me and Edda, and turns his suspicious eyes to Heydal.

"... I thought Heydall was a well-known adventurer because he brought him here, and there were two kids who seemed to be less in action"

Heydall lined up beside me and put his hand on his shoulder.

"I'm fine. He's stronger than me. Guaranteed."

"Yes, no, that's not...!

I waved aggressively.

The only reason I was able to fight the Blood opponent well was because I was able to crush the opponent's magic and fighting skills with the Devil's Sword Belzella.

I don't have the confidence to fight Brad and the White Soldiers from the front like Heydall did.

"... it would be nice if Heydal said that much. Gumdon has already divided the rally underground"

The man answered and Heydal bowed his head.

Then signal them to follow us.

Gumdon was a name I had heard of.

The magic conductor is a bright red great axe called the Rigid Axe Gigantes.

Alongside Hyodor and Heydal, he is one of the leading intermediate adventurers in the city of Romaburg.

"... is Mr. Gumdon trying to put together an adventurer instead of an immobile army and kick out the Grey Church?

I asked Haydal as I went down the stairs.

Heydall nods.

"That's the thing. As for the rewards, some residents will pay each other to prepare them. We just can't work any more than we risk our lives."

"That's it already, you're talking..."

It was from late last night until early this morning that the Grey Church caused massive kidnappings and killings.

I guess there have been a number of people running to stop the Grey Church's assault since I was thinking freely of making a selection of the Demonic Labyrinth in the Adventurer's Guild.

"... but to be clear, I don't think you'll get an amount that's dangerously worthy. Besides, if the army finds out, you know what you're gonna see. The crusade of the Grey Church, to say the least, will mean a group of good intentions. Regardless, if you don't like it, I don't mind you coming home on the way. I just want you to avoid talking."

"… I will work with you in a small way"

The city of Romaburg is where I grew up.

I don't know a lot of land away from this city.

This is my house full of memories with my late father, and Mani's blacksmith workshop.

It's inconceivable to me to abandon the city of Romaburg and flee to other cities, for example, because of the eyes of a dangerous group.

"Nevertheless, Edda is more of a runner than she was, and she..."

Edda came this far in the first place, because I moved, and she was just kind of flushed and following me, and it wasn't a judgment based on understanding the situation.

Heydal says he can get out on the way, but such imitation would lower the overall morale.

Maybe you should have him leave here.

"If Dean's riding, I'll go too. You can't just let a good city guide die... because I thought you'd be grateful."

"E, Edda...... okay?

When I asked, Edda put her arms around her, pinched her cough gently and leaked, "Did I say something that doesn't seem like it?"

"I'm glad you two are feeling... I figured you'd better hear more about it before you decide. Even I still don't know how much the reward will be per capita. And, honestly, I'm a little bad at the gumdon guy."

Says Heydal as he scratches his head.

I went down the stairs and opened the basement door.

There was a little room inside, where the nine adventurers stood.

They were all fairly well-known adventurers in the city of Romaburg, from the top of D to C.

"I've brought two familiar adventurers, Mr. Gumdon."

A big man standing in the back of the room turned his eyes towards us.

The big man had dark brown hair and his jaw was broken thoroughly.

It's definitely Gumdon from The Rigorous Axe Gigantes.

"Ha, what is that, Heydal, two kakashi? I don't know what to do with it!

I shut up about Gumdon's words.

I've only seen it faraway so far, but was it this type of person?

Edda was also staring at Gumdon with cold eyes.

"What's that eye? All right, you guys, I'm definitely here. Originally a crowd of adventurers in the U.N., if you don't keep him clear about the relationship between the top and bottom, it's not easy. I can't obey, the guy who just messes up the wheel is going to get out of here right now!

... Somehow, I don't think very much of it as a race that moves spontaneously for the city.

I turned a blind eye to Heydal.

Heydall whispered to me.

"... originally, Gumdon wasn't planning on joining us. It's just that I chewed on this rally called the Largin Chamber of Commerce. Gumdon squeaked out because he wanted to sell them names. I can't thank you enough..."
