Sword of Glutton Princess

Lesson 34 Reunion

Go under the bridge, line up the crates and the three of us face each other.

"I'm so glad we're both safe... I thought maybe I'd never see you again."

Mani said so while wiping his eyes with his fingers.

'Are you all right? Can you deceive their eyes in a place where Mani can find them?

Belzevute sends his thoughts.

I can't count how many times I've walked this ghetto with Mani, etc., as long as I fit in from childhood.

I've had a peek under this bridge with her.

From there, if you're hiding, you figured it might be here.

... So I want to think that it's not that easy to find from the military.

In fact, I don't know when I'll find it.

But if there's another better place, there's no such candidate.

Besides, unless the place is clearly cracked, it won't be just as good for a situation as the Magic Superintendent bringing his men in.

If it's about two soldiers, it shouldn't be that hard for me and Edda to sprinkle.

Exactly. If there are more than four opponents, or a mixed class of magic captains, it gets tough all at once...

"... bad, suddenly I'm going to jump out of my guild. I thought I'd contact Mani somehow, but I'm afraid I have no idea what the army is doing."

Besides, I didn't want to involve Mani if I could.

Decent hostility to the military is really bad.

It would be tantamount to taking over this kingdom.

The enemy is too large.

I specialize in adventurers.

The Adventurer Guild is like an army handyman, but there's a way to do it as an adventurer without their support.

Edda is a person of the Narc tribe who originally did not receive asylum in the Kingdom.

They all wanted to join some Narc tribe again, and that's what they told me.

But Mani isn't.

A demon conductor blacksmith should never do without bringing people in in in quite a few cities.

It's not something that people who are watched by the military can do.

I can't do anything to imitate the workshop that I inherited from my parents and the cost of living.

"Me and Edda are going to escape this city of Romaburg somehow. For a while, I think you're going to steal the eyes of the army and live... But the army in this city is clearly out of the ordinary right now. I don't think this will last forever."

If the army really raided the chamber of the president of the Chamber of Commerce and killed them all, the dimensions are not the same as they ever liked to be.

If we're going to continue doing this in the future, we're going to have to wear it out eventually.

"I'm sure one day, the truth will be revealed. When that happens, I'll be back in this Romaburg again..."

"... you really think so? Marty, the magician, is a man who lacks morality, but he's never an idiot. I can't think very well of doing that in a state where I can see them getting worn out and disposed of"

That's what Mani said as he stared me in the eye.

"That may be... but..."

As I put it, Mani stood up and bent in front of me, grabbing his left shoulder vigorously.

In her eyes again, tears were beginning to accumulate.

"Dean, in those words, don't try to delude me. I know what you're thinking. That's what you're thinking about annoying me, right? But if me and you were in the opposite position, would you be so happy that you were convinced to back off and not get involved later? If that's the case, I'm really sorry."

"Mani... but then the blacksmith..."

"Whatever you say, I'll follow you. I'm telling you, this isn't for you. That's what I'm saying because I want to be with you."

For a little while, I kept my eyes on Mani.

Mani's will is strong.

I'm sure you really won't try to bend your mind no matter what I say.

I'm already here ready for that.

"... thanks, Mani. The three of us, let's get out of this city."

"What are you talking about! I have a concubine too, Dean! I'm not forgetting!

"Wow, bad, four of you.... people okay?

I drop my eyes on the Devil's Sword Belzella.

He then narrowed his eyes and cemented his fist grip as he watched the Magic Instructor sword.

You can never take the blacksmith's path away from Mani.

Again, you can't just wait for Marty to lose his leg.

I don't know how long it will take, but I'm sure one day I'll uncover his evil deeds and drag him down from his position as a Magic Commander.

Then we'll be able to walk the city again.

The power of me, Mani, and Edda alone may not rival the power of the army no matter how much I scratch.

At any rate, there are dozens of demonstrators in the Romaburg branch alone.

If you get hit properly, it won't even be a fight.

But if I can bring out the power of Belzevute, the corner of the Seven Sins King more, one day I'll be able to reach Marty's neck as well.

"... I was a little nervous about leaving Dean alone with Edda the whole time."

Mani glanced slightly at Edda as he blushed and said so in a small voice.

If Mani were here, it would be considerably easier to gather information.

It must have been much easier to move than ever before, when I couldn't read the movements of the army at all.

"... for me and others, if I involve you both"

Edda leaned down and held her legs in on the crate.

That's Edda, too, seemed quite responsive to this one.

I'm depressed to see it.

It seemed heavy that Mani had come here with the intention of abandoning the blacksmith's path.

"Beh, nothing's wrong with Edda, so don't get so sick!

"Oh, yeah! It was a bit of a shock that the two of you left me and ran away, and then Dean wasn't going to speak to me... but, you know, I don't feel like blaming Mr. Edda at all, either."
