Sword of the Philosopher

Forts and Demons

"The place... is a building that exists on the west side from here."

I tilted my neck at Gark's remarks.

"Buildings? There's only woods and mountains west of town, huh?

"Beyond that mountain, and beyond the woods and mountains, there is a building. Fort, should I say?

Fort...... I'm not sure, do you mean there is the Lord of the Users Demons there?

"So that was surprisingly close... OK. Then let's go there right away."

"Umm."

I'm out of town and I'm on my way. The west side of town is like a garden to me, using magic to climb mountains all at once and to the other side of it.

The view from the summit is full of forests. There's a mountain of tatami ahead of us.

"Beyond that mountain?

"Nothing."

The response came, so I ran through the woods without hesitation using magic. Plus mountains, albeit at lower altitudes than earlier mountains.

Beyond that, again in the woods... but I did see the building.

"Fort...... that's wood. It wasn't prepared by the state, like a fortress that some bandit was rooting for?

As I speculate, I keep an eye on the building from afar. Fort with no philosophy whatsoever in appearance.

"Garc, check, but you're really in that place, aren't you?

"That's right."

"All right, let's move on"

I go further. I realized what kind of person was on the spot… when I quickly reached near the entrance to the fort.

"You're a monster."

Auga...... same tower I used to see Richard's name on. That's the gatekeeper of the fort. By the way, is the gate broken or left open? It doesn't seem hard to get inside.

The demons in front of you are undoubtedly no different from what the Demons produce. So you're still saying it's the Demons who are here?

But then, why were you watching Richard... the questions are endless, but if you go inside and look for who he is, you might find out something.

I'm a little confused about how it works, but let's hide the signs here and let it go bare.

I used it when I was hiding from Sophia and watching. Activates the magic of silencing and acoustic insulation. Act not to be enlightened by demons.

Look around the entrance area without difficulty. A demon can also be seen inside the fort. At its heart is still the Auga. Go through them sideways while entering the building.

Well, inside... the road is divided into three parts from the entrance. In addition, there are demons in the building... how vigilant are they?

I was surprised at the escort to the point of excess. I don't think we need to go this far...

"Lord Luon."

So there's Gark's voice.

"From the back of the front road, I feel the magic I just explored"

"Then you'll be there."

"Oh. Or one more thing"

"What's up?

When asked, Garc answered with a few moments aside.

"There are disturbing signs"

"Disturbing?"

"Not from this building. If you say so, it's empty, not on the ground '

Empty...? Arrow tips I tried to tilt my neck and ask, something like a howl could be heard from the outside.

No way, have they noticed? Immediately after that thought, the surrounding orgasms began to move.

But the demons don't seem to recognize me...

"You're a demon."

Raefin determined.

"Demons...... and there are signs of demons"

"Gark said, from the sky?

"Seems so."

You're letting demons escort you this far to protect you from demonic raids? But why is the Lord of the Users Demons in this fort being targeted by demons and demons?

In a situation where all the doubts swelled... I thought I needed to look into the Lord of this fort for one second and move on to the back.

Eventually the deepest, reaching the big room. There was a sight of one man, who sensed a demonic assault, standing up with a rugged face.

The person in front of me - I'm a man, but I could describe the person in a word rather than describe the characteristics and so on.

My age is probably about mid twenties...... except I'm getting somewhat older and growing a mustache, which looked just like Richard I met in town.

What do you mean... and I almost spoke out of the blue and stopped in a hurry. It's just not good to raise your voice in a place like this.

But the question swells. Similar, does that have anything to do with Richard in town? But there's no way that humans can produce the demons that the demons are supposed to produce.

"Well, that's funny."

Suddenly, Garc's voice echoed in his head.

"I see... I can read the situation as I blurt out"

Shortly after I thought it was true - now Reefin's voice echoed in my head.

'Master Luon, would you like to start by checking the situation for a moment?

... right, I agree with you in my heart. Immediately afterwards, men - for convenience Richard? He started walking with a rugged look on his face.

"Do I have to fight too?

Speak right after his appearance disappears... but you should figure out what the situation is, as Raefin says, before you figure out how to move.

I walk out and go after Richard. discovering his back at the entrance to the fort. At the same time,

"Well, let's get you ready"

I heard a young voice uttered by a youth. I'll keep an eye on it while I keep my distance. Confronting Richard was a man dressed in a black cape - a demon tribe who had no way of hiding any signs at all.

Everything from the tip of my head to the tip of my leg is made of black. It's an indisputable look to say a beautiful man, but his face shows a smile that distorted his mouth without any evil taste, too much to make him wary. The demons around and above are further fuelling the atmosphere.

"Whoa, should I introduce myself before that? My name is Therese. I've come to kill you, demon tribe."

Even show gratitude to the Demons - Therese says.

"If I were you, I would just kill you without one or two... I have something to ask you. How did you get our technology? How can you produce such demons?

- By that word, I turn my neck to Richard. He remains silent... but it seems that the art of creating demons is undoubtedly the same as that of the demons.

I don't know how it is, but he knew how to make the demons produced by the Demons and used them to produce the orgasms. The demon clan in front of you would be something like the presence sent by the demon king who knew Richard existed to crusade.

Was Richard in this fort to intercept demonic tribes like Therese... who have produced and served a significant number of demons, perhaps because he himself foresaw that such a battle would take place sooner or later?

Now, the only thing I can do in this - naturally, I want to help Richard and ask him what's going on, but I have to figure out how to deal with Therese.

He's only a dispatched demon tribe, so I don't think there's a problem with him showing up here and knocking him down. But suppose Therese himself is a high-ranking Demon clan... it could also be connected to the Demon King or an executive close to it. If I hit him badly, he could be marked here in addition to Richard and even me.

Ideally, my presence moves to keep Therese from finding out. Gamely, the protagonists should have been looked at in a variety of ways when they fought demons other than the Five Demons. That's definitely the case this time too, which is why you better not find it.

More than just exercising the magic of hiding the signs, no other magic can be used, but the power is gutted. That's not the case if you mean it, but naturally magic leaks, so you end up falling. But I don't think I can defeat it with the addition or subtraction. Then...

"Raifin."

"Yes."

"Can we fight so the Demons don't find us?

"In my case, you can't attack or defend yourself unless you're out there."

"Okay. Then wait till Richard is in crisis...... Garc"

"What?"

"It's hard to attack while exercising the magic of erasing the signs... that demon tribe should be stronger there than commanding the devil alone... is there any way we can cover Richard?

After a little silence arose, the answer came.

'We can exercise your magic temporarily. I can't do it to Raifin without a contract, but I can do it.'

"Is that true?

'Uhm. But it's only temporary. Receive your magic temporarily via my dependent generation. But the time won't be less than a few minutes. And beyond the limits, the cost of dependence disappears. "

"Can I use it continuously?

'Cause it's gonna take a day for the magic of dependency to return... only once can we work together here'

"I see... ok. So let's do it."

Decisions - Looking ahead to Richards and the others, I started thinking about measures again.
